Appearance: Haruka stands five feet, two inches and weighs approximately 125 lbs. She has an ovular face, long black hair, and brown eyes. Her limbs are long and lithe; elegant hands being home to long fingers. Her attire is often in varying shades of purple, and there seems to be a vintage flair to her wardrobe. However, do not make the mistake of assuming she is all traditional: she is all for ‘thinking outside the box’!

Her hands tend to be very cold - so cold as to be felt through cloth.

Attitude:
Haruka's personality is largely circumstantial: if she needs to be firm, she'll be firm; a need for gentleness is met with it. She is a woman of few words at times, preferring to let her actions - and weapons - to do the lion-share of the talking. Haruka is by no means excessively chatty. A soft-spoken witch, Haruka considers silence to be one of her best friends. She has a deceivingly docile appearance upon first glance. A closer look into the chocolate pools of her eyes, however, reveals the torrential tempest within.

Because of the way her great-great-grandfather cast his firstborn daughter - Haruka's great-grandmother - aside, she has a very strong hatred for the wizard still living even at a young age. How had he managed to live, while her other ancestors had died?! is a question that haunts Haruka even to this day.

Earning her true trust is difficult, but regardless whether friend or foe she is on the surface respectful for the most part. She does not often let targets see their killer for to save them the pain of knowing they will die; upon a victim's death, Haruka will often perform a song on her ocarina in memorial to the slain either in the presence of the body or in seclusion. She will not usually play these "memorial services" in the company of others.

Haruka does not assign attachments lightly - to be called 'friend' by her is a rather big step. Her relationship regarding Amara Darcy is the perfect example: they tolerate one another, often fencing together and secretly enjoying the hobby, but if it comes to it they can be enemies... though neither one holds it against the other. Yet... the line of friendship seems more often indistinct than clear.

Haruka's manners are largely traditional: bowing instead of shaking hands, though she would do so if/when prompted... and going so far as to kowtow to the Emperor Adam DeLanquar and others she holds in high regard. Demure exterior with a bold filling, one might say of her.

Yet at the same time, for all her prescribed etiquette, Haruka is basically a woman on a mission and she will stop at nothing to get the job done. In her mind a job is a job, and she doesn't need to necessarily know why she's being sent on the task. In the event she is aware, she wouldn't tell anyone else that asked even if it meant her own death. Haruka's ideals on killing are very assassin-like: if it is necessary, then it is necessary, but other than that she wouldn't hurt so much as a fly. She does not exactly revel in a kill, but yet at the same time she does not regret it under assumption that what she does makes the world a better place.

History:
If you were to ask Haruka about her history, she'd tell you there isn't much to her background. She was born to Daisuke Ito and Masako Tsukino in Kyoto Japan, the second-born of four children. Her childhood was for the most part pleasant, though her family tended to emphasize the traditional samurai / auror practices. It took a lot of persuading on her part to have her father teach her the ways of combat. Unfortunately, she was not given much time to learn and train, for her father was killed a few days after her sixth birthday. Her mother and elder brother were also killed on this day, leaving her the head of her family unit now consisting of one brother, and one sister. It was this incident in and of itself that made Haruka hate all that is dark and sinister in this world, though some of the ancestors before her were also silenced by Dark Forces.

It was with a kind heart that Haruka's great-uncle Arata took in the three newly-made orphans and raised them as his own, guiding and teaching where Daisuke and Masako left off. Haruka loved to hear about her foster father's mother, though couldn't help the stab of hate toward Takeshi for having sent his daughter to an Okiya simply because he'd wanted a son and not a daughter. She had no idea where her great-great-grandfather lived, and never asked. If he had not cared about his daughter, certainly his great-great-granddaughter would not have mattered!

Haruka attended a magical school in Japan, almost never venturing outside of her home country until her mid-teens. She'd had no immediate plans for her life beyond education at the time when she saw the flyers. It appealed to her, certainly, but it wasn't until the summer of 2022 - at the age of 17 - that Haruka made up her mind and joined the organization known as the purgers.

Upon seeing the List of the Damned, and noting that there were quite a few Kaminskis, Haruka decided to try and infiltrate the clan's security as ordered in a slightly unorthodox manner: through marriage. It was on May first, 2023, that Haruka became a bride. The lucky ... or not-so-lucky groom: Mikhail Kaminski. Little did she know that Mikhail's branch of the family wasn't nearly as prominent as the families with children born in the 1980s. Nevertheless, she managed to put a dent into the amount of "Dark" wizards in the world by getting rid of nearly a third of the remaining Kaminskis.

With a feeling of dread, Haruka learned she was pregnant with Mikhail's children in July of that same year. Though she knew it was a possible occurrence, it worried her all the same. In her attempt to help rid the world of evil, two children no doubt tainted by Mikhail's family's darkness were on the way. Thus, Haruka did all she could to do anything opposite of what she should have done in an attempt to miscarry. She did not want to be responsible for bringing more evil into the world... It was on October 31, in a ritual of sinister necessity, that she terminated the pregnancy. Needless to say, Mikhail was not happy in the least.

On New Year's Day of the year 2024, Mikhail met an untimely demise. The Kaminski clan, assuming but without proof that Haruka was to blame, became cold and distant toward the witch. The only reason it mattered to her was because her targets would be a bit more guarded around her.

The rest of Haruka's past up to the year 2038 is very much a mystery.

Faults: Despite patience can be quick to anger, Holds grudges, impulsive when angered, tends to be "wand happy" ((wizard version of "trigger happy"))
