McConn Residence December, 30, 2027

Edan nodded. "The hot chocolate...not the tea, Mama." he smiled, wrinkling his nose. Edwin shook his head.

"I'm fine... thanks" he murmured, taking a seat on the couch.

((Same timeline; continued from December 30, 2027 @ Viper Manor))

"Kiara and Ciaran McConn Residence," Sevastyan muttered and tossed the powder into the fire, causing it to glow an emerald green. Without wasting any time at all, he stuck his head into the fireplace............


.............. and saw Kiara, her son Edan, and Edwin. All looked relatively well, considering whatever circumstances that had transpired.

Sevastyan's face flushed for a moment, feeling as though he'd just intruded on a rather personal moment for the trio. He still felt as though he were missing something... Had something happened to one of the others? Everything seemed to be in order here.

"Izvinite..." he murmured quietly, hoping not to startle them.

((Izvinite = excuse me))

Kiara blinked and whirled around at the familiar voice in the fire place.

"Sevastyan?" she asked, confused as to why he would be calling. She quickly put the hot drinks down and ran over to the fire place and dropped to her knees infront of it.

"Whats happened? Rossa and Eglantine Dissapeared from the park earlier... Ciaran and Horatio are out looking for them but in this storm....." she trialed off pulling in her worried thoughts and rubbing her forehead, the stress obviously getting to her.

"Sorry, Nothing is wrong over there is there? Please say everything is alright.." she said.

Gray eyes widened at the speed in which Kiara had moved and spoken, blinking as he tried to take everything in. He would very much have liked to say everything was all right, but he would've been half-lying if he did... Sevastyan found himself torn and undecided on what to tell her.

"Пожалуйста, штилево… erm, I mean: please, be calm. Rossa and your mother arrived here just minutes ago," he began calmly, glancing between all three pairs of eyes. "Rossa is vith Lara and Demyan having a snack... and is a little scared but othervise fine. Something... odd just happened.

"Is it common for ... Eglantine ... to go into trances?" he asked, not used to referring to the witch in question by her given name. Sevastyan was also tentative on approaching this topic due to how it might be perceived by each party. The subject matter uttered during said trance was something he did not want to repeat before the pairs of ears aged twelve and seven years. While they had to deal with it some day, they didn't need to now.

Kiara gave a massive sigh of releif the moment Sevastyan said Eglantine and Rossa were with him in Viper Manor, Why they were there she had no idea, but she was glad they were not lost in this storm. Now the only people she had to worry about were her Husband and Father who were still out looking for them.

Kiara stiffened when Sevastyan mentioned trances, her blue eyes went wary and she nodded. "She had one didn't she?..." she asked quietly even though it was obvious she had or else he wouldn't have asked.

"She has been having them for years, they have gotten worse...There is little you can do about them, just lay her down, put a cool cloth on her head and she should snap out of it... Just make sure the twins okay as well though, we are all worried the effect the trances will have on them" she said her voice thick with worry for her mother.

Because of Eglantines current state, she thought it best she stay at Viper manor until she she was strong enough to leave.

"Did Eglantine say why she brought herself and Rossa to Viper Manor? I thought you all stayed at the Kaminski house in Russia over Christmas?" she asked in confusion. "Could you tell Rossa I or her Dad will be over to get her soon? I would now but.." she motioned to the two children with her as she couldn't leave them until Ciaran and Horatio came home.

"Thank you for looking after them Sevastyan, and Viper to." she said, thankful her little girl and her mother were in good hands at the moment.

Obviously if she hadn't had one, Sevastyan wouldn't have asked. But, the wizard did not deem it fit to actually say such a thing. In fact, he was rather nervous the moment her eyes became wary. Thus, instead, he nodded slowly and without words. He wasn't quite as verbose as Ethan... Sevastyan did not want to even think about how the older yet slightly more hyper wizard - a man whom Sevastyan finally counted a friend, he might add - would have went about this.

He listened with concern to the instructions on how to deal with the trances - it seemed they too didn't want magic to interfere with the twins' development. "Amaranth is tending to her now... but I vill let her know, certainly," Sevastyan stated, more to placate Kiara's worry than anything. It was written on her face and drenched in her voice. Which one worried more about the people they loved was really hard to tell.

Sevastyan shook his head in a negative as to if he knew why they were there. "Ve vere trying to figure that out... And normally ve vould have been but Lynn is sick vith some kind of flu. Didn't vant anyone else catching it," he explained, allowing his eyes to display concern for both the mystery and his youngest. "Of course," the wizard replied with a solemn nod, both in understanding and in confirmation that he would do as asked.

"It is no trouble at all, Kiara. Ve vill vatch over them, not to vorry," Sevastyan replied to her thanks, though became distracted with a nearby noise on his end. "I probably should be going... Everything else is okay here, da - I mean, yes?" he asked, once again surveying all three just to make sure.

Kiara nodded and let out a sigh, "Thank you Bboth again" she said.

As he explained the circumtances of why they were still in London she nodded, it was cold and flu season, she and Ciaran were lucky none of them had it.

"I see, I hope Lynn feels better soon then, I send my best wishes... It is odd she would go there with Rossa though.... very strange" she said obviously just as confused as Sevastyan about the matter.

"Yes much better now that we know Rossa and Eglantine are safe out of this storm, I Thank you again Sevastyan, so very much. I will call you again when Ciaran and Horatio come home" she said again

((Assuming that is fair well)

Kiara turned from the fire and face the two boys looking alot better then she had before.

"Rossa and Mother are safe" she said the relief clearly in her voice.

[Just posting his exit so that it sorta flows like he left here and arrived back at Viper Manor.]

The corners of one side of Sevastyan's mouth quirked up into a smile as he nodded his thanks and his agreement that this occurrence was indeed strange. "It is no trouble at all - anytime. And very vell. If you need anything, you know vhere to reach us, okay?" Sevastyan replied. His request for them to contact him and Amaranth if they needed help was firm yet comfortingly heartfelt.

"Пока," ((Poka - informal form of good bye)) he murmured before pulling himself from the McConn Household's grate and back to Viper Manor.

Kiara sighed as she sat on the couch with Edan and Edwin " They are both at Viper Manor as soon as you Da and Grandfather get back we are going to go and over there and pick up Rossa... and see how Mother is" she said as she hugged Edan shoulder's and placed a kiss on his head, she also gave Edwins shoulder a squeeze offering what comfort it gave.

Looking out the window she saw the still raging snow storm and hoped Horatio and Ciaran were alright. In white outs like that someone could get lost very easily.

Edan smiled. "That's good, Mama!" he cheered. Edwin nodded along with his nephew.

Suddenly the door burst open and both Horatio and Ciaran entered, covered from head to toe in feathery snow.
"We couldn't find them, Ara. But I'm going to call a few of me friends and hunt em down. No need ta be worried."

Horatio nodded along with Ciaran. "We found evidence that they are together now. Eglantine will keep Rossa safe, Kiara." Horatio assured her.

Kiara sighed with relief when the two men walked in, quickly got up and with a quick spell she vanished the snow from Horatio and Ciaran, and she also conjured two blankets and wrapped them around the two of them.

Placeing her already abnormally warm hands on Ciaran's cold cheeks she said loud enough for Horatio to hear. "It is alright Love, I know where they are, I just got a fire call from Sevastyan Eglantine took Rossa and herself to Viper Manor, they are there now. Rossa is fine, alittle scared according to Sevastyan buy alright. As for Eglantine, she went into one of her transes. Viper is taking care of her though. I told Sevastyan I would call him back and one of us would go and get Rossa. And Eglantine we will how she is.." she explained as best she could concidering all the worrying she had done had worn her out quite effectively.

Plus the dang Fever creeping up on her wasn't helping matters.

Ciaran was too cold and worried to allow the small seed of anger to blossom in his mind. Yet it still was present. How dare his mother-in-law put his daughter in danger like this! And then run off to someone else's house to cause trouble for them as well. Had Eglantine been present, he might have throttled her.

"Kiara," he whispered, wrapping his cold hands around her warm ones. "Please go lay down. I'm going ta go get Rossa. No need ta worry." he smiled softly and kissed her forehead, momentarily holding her close.

The last word had hardly left Kiara's mouth before Horatio ran to the fireplace. "Viper Manor!" he shouted, tossing a handful of floo powder into the flames.

Kiara sighed and leaned into Ciaran's hold, what would she do without him, she was relieved Rossa was safe and alright, but the worry for her mother and father still weighed heavily on her mind. She worried for Eglantines health and how that was effecting Horatio, didn't Eglantine realize the worry she put everyone through and the danger she was putting herself in?

And why Viper Manor? That was one thing she couldn't understand, was it to hide from them for a while? did she expect the place to be empty as Sevastyan, Viper and the Children were usually in Russia during the winter season. If that was confusing enough why bring Rossa there only to scare her? None of it made sense, if she weren't so worried about Eglantine's fragile state she would give her a stern lecture about what she was thinking!

When he asked her to lay down her first thought was No way! She may have been warn out but her mind was still to active to even think about sleep or rest.

"I am fine love, just bring her home" she whispered back.

Then she sighed again when Horatio rushed to the floo and called for Sevastyan, she could almost hear the fear in his voice. She found it hard to believe that Eglantine didn't see the pain she was putting her husband through with all the worry. She and Horatio would definitely have a heart to heart about Eglantine later, or if anything to let there worries off on each other since talking to Eglantine didn't do any good and only made things worse. Perhaps they could think of something to help her with out her knowing. Anything at this point she was willing to try.

She waited expectantly behind Horatio and beside Ciaran, hugging him closely more then willing to share her growing amount of body heat with his cold form.
