Max walked into his new household, coming back from his first day of work. His wife, Carol, was busy cooking dinner for a few guests they were inviting over. Max sighed. Boy did he miss her while he was away, it felt good to be home. And yet, he couldn't help but feeling that something terrible was looming around the corner. He took a seat in the quiant kitchen, at the kitchen table, and started to read the Daily Prophet. More stories about people being slaughtered by purgers. he shook his head
"I wonder if we'll ever get happy news in the prophet." Max said, putting the paper down. Carol laughed.
"Trust me, Max, Prophet never gives happy news." she told him, taking a seat across from him, and handing him hot chocolate. He actually preferred it over coffee. plus it brought back memories of his first year.
"Guess your right." Max leaned back in his chair. "This whole thing scares me, though, Carol. If these purgers get their way, the whole wizarding world is going to be in turmoil!"
"Well, I'm sure the ministry will handle it." Carol responded. Max sighed.
"Yeah, either that or it'll fall to the purgers."
"Don't worry, Max. Nothing bad's going to happen."
"What makes you so sure?" Max muttered
"Well, one can only hope for the best." Carol answered. Maybe she's right. Max thought. "Now get ready for dinner." Carol said. "We're having company. Max nodded, and started to help out.
