Nothing like a quiet morning ~ May 14th 2027

(( thought this one might be light and happy merci, with the slightest bit of drama to keep it interesting ^_^ plus I haven't had a post where kiara was pregnant with Beagan yet, so here it goes))

Kiara had woken up early and decided to go down and start making breakfast. She was quite aways along with her and Ciarans 5th child however, just past the 8 month mark. This pregancey was actaully a easy one compared to when she was pregnant with Greta. She felt wonderful even.. Having woken up at the crack of dawn before anyone else she desided to take advantage of the fact she felt great and make breakfast.

Pancakes, walffles, bacon and everything under the sun one could make for breakfast with a large family with small children. With all the food ready she place warming charms on them made her way upstairs to wake her family up for the day. Deciding to start with Ciaran first so he could help with the little ones, she bent down and kissed him.

"Rise and shine love" she whispered.l

Unicorns and fluffy bunnies were not the normal dreams of the 'hardened' auror captain who currently occupied one side of the master bed within the McConn residence. But they still frolicked and sparkled despite that fact. In fact, Ciaran had been close to be asked to join the 'animal kingdom' tea, when Kiara's soft voice pulled him from slumber.

"Already shining... anymore glitter I'll drown." he muttered, only a quarter a wake. Then, realizing what he'd just said, he shot up from the bed, blushing from head to toe. "eh... morning, love."

Kiara couldn't help but giggle at her husbands half awake words, he was so cute. "I am not going to ask what you were dreaming about Dear, perhaps you Rossa should have a glitter party later?" she said partly joking, since their 5 year old little girl would likely be thrilled with the idea.

"Come on love, already made breakfast, time to get everyone up and about" she said with a wink.

"Ya do and I'll be taping yar conversations with the mirror from now on." he wagged a finger at her, kidding as he struggled out of the warm bed. For May it was a bit chilly; due to a rainfall the night before. "Accio robe." The closet opened and Kiara's other bathrobe landed in his arms, raising his eyebrows. "Blasted, spells gone wacky on me..." he muttered, hanging it back up in muggle fashion and grabbing his own.

"Tell me there's coffee, please." he beamed hopefully.

Kiara giggled again at her husbands antic's, beaming as she watched him try to wake up for the morning.

"yes I got your coffee Love, even though your the only one who can drink it. Lucky Scott..." she said, being very pregnant she couldn't drink the stuff in her current condition.

"I'll attempt to wake Eden up.. you got the girls?" she asked making her way to her sons room. Rossa and Greta still shared a room, though there were plans on adding another room in once the baby was born and give Greta her own room.

Ciaran went after her, gently settling his hands on her swollen belly, as he acted as a hallway block
"Aye, I'm a lucky man." he agreed, patting where his unborn child lay. "All the more lucky cause of ya, lass." With that he scooped her up, carrying her onward. "We'll wake em up together." he winked, kissing her forehead. "Can't have me lady love walking everywhere."

Kiara let out yelp of surprise when Ciaran picked her up, "Hey! Ciaran, Love I can walk, plus arn't I heavy?" she asked holding onto the back of his neck and blushing.

The girls room was just down the hall, inside pictures and posters covered the walls of the yellow room. Two beds were on either side of the room, amd each had a blond head sticking out of them.

"Not at all, love. Light as a jay in a gust of wind." he assured her, shifting her slightly to open the girl's bedroom door. He set her down and went around to sit beside the cover ensconced Rossa. "Mornin, rose-love." he whispered, pulling the covers back to kiss her forehead. "Day lights a burnin."

Kiara rolled her eyes amused, "yeah right, you charmer.." she said kissing is cheek.

Rossa opened her green eyes and sniffed, finding she couldn't breath through her nose.

"Oh'd no.." she whinning sitting up.. looking very much like a child with a cold indeed. "Gah morndin Daddy" she muttered her nose all stuffed up. Then she sneezed, "Achoo!" just barely able to cover herself before sneezing on her father.

"Ah, sounds like someone has a cold" Kiara muttered as she went over to Greta's bed as she gently shook the three year olds shoulder.

'Wake up honey, time for breakfast" she said.

"Bless ya, darlin." Ciaran chuckled, moving his hand to feel her forehead. He doubted she had a temperature just because of a cold, but better sake than sorry. "How do ya feel?" he asked.

Greta rolled over, looking like someone had rolled her into a taco shell.
"Not hungry." she grumbled, sniffing through a clogged nose.
Ciaran glanced over at Kiara.
"Looks like we've got some sickies here, love. Soup might be in order."

Rossa blinked as her dad checked her forehead.. she hoped she didn't have a fever.. if she did her mum would make her take this horrible potion for it and make her stay in bed. But then again she didn't feel quite that bad...

"Thand you Daddy" she muttered rubbing her nose with her sleeve.. "can I have a'd Tissue? Please?" she asked still sniffing.

"All stuffy, and my throat hurts.." she said nameing off her symtoms.

Kiara nodded, and sighed, though was relieved it was only a cold, taking on the flu with two young ones was a hard day.

"Looks like it" she said in agreement also checking Greta's forehead for temperature, "And perhaps a potion to help with the sore throat hmm? We can put them on the coach down stairs. Will be easier that way" she said fully intending to look affer her two little girls.. but walking up and down the stairs so many times a day might not be the best Idea...

"Try and get some Soup and Orange Juice into them" she said being unsure Greta would be as cooperative as her older sister.

"Greda has it to?" Rossa asked pouting, "Poor Greda" she concluded feeling bad her younger sister was sharing her misery.
