Food and Drink (Yule Ball)

"I think it looks great on you" Raven smiled, she wasn't lying to Juria, she actually thought she did look pretty.

"I'm not sure i guess it called out to me "RAVEN, RAVEN YOU NEED TO WEAR ME TO THE BALL!"" Raven said talking for the dress.

((Juria does look pretty in that dress i could imagine it))

Juria smiled,

"Thank you Raven, it’s kind of you to say."

Juria laughed at the tone Raven took for the dress in what it was saying.

"Normally I wear royal blue, it matches my eyes and also I’m a Ravenclaw so... blue is my color."

Juria laughed, Raven had been wearing the color she normally wore.

"Your welcome, Juria" Raven smiled.

"I don't mind any color but pink but my favorite color is green."

Juria nodded,

"Yes I also tried to stay away from pink, I also will wear any color and dont really care. You look good in blue though Raven."

Juria smiled back.

Raven looked away shyly, "You really think so?" Raven's shy side was coming in now she always thought she wasn't pretty in anything.

"No I don’t think so... I know so!"

Juria laughed, Raven looked very good at the ball.

"My, the boys are going to be VERY jealous when you get older since they didn’t get the chance to take you here."

Juria said, meaning it from the bottom of her heart.

"No, your just saying that" Raven smiled looking down thinking she wasn't all that attractive.

Juria smiled,

"No seriously, we are all jealous of how you look tonight."

Juria smiled, like Raven, she didn’t believe she was that pretty.

"Just you wait till you are my age, then every boy will be asking you to marry him, right now I’m just getting old."

Juria laughed, she knew that for some reason everyone thought that she was 21; it was true she looked it however her real age was 33. Lately, everyone who she had told her age to had gasped and thought she was kidding.

Raven blushed she never gotten a compliment like that before. Raven looked at the table filled with food and drinks and thinking how her mom was doing she never really thought about her mother but she shook the thought out of her mind and looked back at Juria and smiled.

Juria smiled and then said again,

"You are lucky Raven, trust me you really are, you are young and still have life ahead of you."

Juria was almost envious of Raven. Raven still had her full life ahead of her. Juria on the other hand was already 33 and her past that she didn’t know still haunted her every step. Raven was able to do whatever she wanted, and make friends with anyone. Juria however was happier for Raven then she would ever be envious.

"My life was already damaged and messed up and cannot be repaired...." Raven had sadness in her eyes then quickly changed the subject,

"So how old are you Juria?"

Juria's eyes softened

"No, Raven don’t worry…you have your whole life ahead of you..."

Juria was happy she changed the subject and raised her eyebrow then replied while smiling,

"Well... how old do you THINK I am?"

Juria wondered what age Raven saw her as.

"hmm" Raven stood there for a while thinking then answered, "21?" she hoped she didn't make the wrong guess and get Juria offended in any way.

Juria smiled and laughed,

"Aww thank you Shadow, I feel young again... I'm actually…. 33, I know I’m so old ahhh!"

Juria laughed at her own joke.

"YOUR NOT 33!" Raven was shocked that she was. The realizing she was most likely joking around.

"Your such a kidder Juria" Raven said shaking her head and smiling.

Juria laughed and threw her head back at the same time. Her blue eyes were sparkeling with playfulness and laughter.

"Ummm...would you believe...just barely 33?... my birthday was in October."

Juria then just was hit with curiosity as to when Raven's birthday was so she could get her a gift.

"Hey Raven, when is your birthday?"

Juria then also wondered if Raven would ask for her ACTUAL day... which was of course Halloween. If Juria told Raven this, Raven would without a doubt think Juria was joking.

"wow that's awesome," Raven was still a little unsure and didn't quiet believe Juria.

"Why do you want to know my birthday??? its September 17th...When's your birthday Juria?" Raven asked in curiosity.

Juria smiled, but heard the uncertianty in Raven's voice.

"Well I want to be able to get you present next year... and um...my birthday is in October, I told you that."

Juria smiled and laughed.

"What day of October?" Raven really wanted to know she wanted to get to know more of Juria.

Juria smiled, knowing that Raven wasn’t going to believe her at all.

"The 31st"

Juria said simply, hoping Raven wouldn’t notice that it was in fact Halloween.

"But please, don’t get me anything"

Juria laughed.

"Wow that's Halloween" Raven said not really believing it is.

"I am getting you something silly" Raven smiled.

Juria smiled a brilliant beautiful smile, showing that her k-9's were slightly sharpened.

"You don't believe me Raven?"

Juria asked, but it sounded more like a fact then a question.

Ethan re-located Juria and, after grabbing a drink, approached her and the student she was speaking with. However, he didn't say anything because he didn't want to interrupt their conversation.

Raven looked over to the professor knowing that must be Juria's date. She then looked back at Juria and smiled,

"I think someone is waiting for you why won't you have fun, talking to me is not as fun as hanging out with your date."

Juria smiled and welcomed Ethan,

"Professor Addams, please come over want to meet a friend of mine."

She then smiled at Raven,

"Please stay Raven, there is no rule that says we can’t talk together, the more the merrier as the saying goes."

"Ethan, this is Raven... Raven this is Professor Addams."

Juria smiled and introduced them both to each other, wondering if Raven had been in Ethan’s class.
