The Rose Bushes

"Uh...tomorow?" Darien asked nervously.

"Alright then." Diana said happily. "Wait.... what shall I wear?"

Darien shrugged. "Whatever."

"No, I really want to give the right impression to your parents Darien." Diana said worriedly. "What if they think ill of me?"

Darien burst out laughing. "You are worrying they will think ill of you...Diana, you know the whole feud thing! They already think ill of you." He grimaced. "They already think ill of me. But I would not suggest anything red. Preferably green or black. Slytherin family and all that. And formal, but so you can run in it. Dad has an evil streak and there may be a lot of running away involved."

Diana sighed. She almost forgot about that stupid feud. "When are they going to stop this stupid fight?"

"Alright, so something green, formal but runawayable?" Diana said thoughtfully. "I think I might have something of that in red... but I could always do a colouring charm on it. Don't you like my colouring charm Darien?"

She said the last bit teasingly.

"Of course." He smiled.
He leant forwards and kissed her.

And she kissed back.

(Hey look little Edwin, people snogging!)

Viper nodded, listening to Eglantine's tale. There wasn't much she didn't already know, but still. However, her attention was soon captivated by the two students snogging.

She sighed. "This is a lovely way to welcome me back. Mr.Vaight, Ms.Cassillas! Honestly, are you trying to see just how many places you can snog?" she asked with an eyebrow raised. "And don't think I've forgotten about the detention you both still owe me!"

"Merlin's-" Darien swore. Someone really, really hated him. And it might possibly be Viper.
"Of course Professor, when would you want us to attend detention?" He asked, trying to keep his tone obedient.

Diana chuckled slightly at Darien's reaction but otherwise kept quiet.

The corners of Viper's mouth twitched at the teenager's reaction. "Mr.Vaight, I honestly do not care where you and Ms.Cassilla's wish to ...express...your feelings for each other. But please, as I have said before, do not get caught! Especially since there is a child here!" she said gesturing to Edwin. "Professor Delanquar thinks quite highly of you both, giving you both lessons that are not at all necessary, but purely because one, I have asked her, and two, because she is willing to dedicate. Do you really think she shall approve of your display in front of her young child?"

((Yes! Corrupting the mind of the young!))

"No," Diana said. "We're sorry Professor but we honestly thought we were alone."

Darien hid a grin.

Viper raised an eyebrow at the lame excuse. "How would that be, Ms.Cassillas? To my knowledge neither you or Mr.Vaight or blind or deaf. And clearly not mute either." she frowned. Sweet Circe, she had her own little escapades as a student as well, but she took care in never getting caught...at least solely her getting caught. When a Professor came, she could care less if her partner in crime got caught in a compromising position. Just as long as she was far far away.

Diana nodded seeing it useless to argue.

"Um..."
Darien didn't know how to respond.

Viper nodded. "Hmm, now what shall I do about it?" the Slytherine cunning erupting fullforth as a glorious smirk dominated her face. "How about this. I honestly do not feel like handing out detentions. I refuse to waste my time supervising your detention because of your folly so, how about this instead: write one simple apology letter and all will be forgiven." she said, struggling to contain her glee at her master plan.

Darien blinked several times, in shock.
An apology letter?
Had someone spiked Viper's drink?

"Is that one from each of us, or one from the both of us?" Diana asked.

"One from each of you." she smiled. "So what do you say? An apology letter instead?"

Darien couldn't help feeling there was a catch...
"Okay..." He answered hesitantly.

Diana couldn't help but agree with Darien's sceptical tone.

Viper smiled. "So be it. There is no going back now, my dears." she smirked as she leaned back into the fence, the glee dancing in her emerald eyes. "Both of you will write an apology letter to Professor Delanquar with explicit details of what you both have done in front of her son. Her two year old, innocent son, might I add. Emphasis on explicit! Such as every little love whisper and promises!" Viper fought the urge to laugh.

Darien swore.
