The Rose Bushes

Hogwarts' very own maze of rose bushes.

Where lovers can meet. XD



Diana walked into the rose bush wearing a light coat.

Darien stepped out of the shadow.
"Hi there. We need to talk...Firstly, about these." he pulled the underwear from a pocket, and fought down a laugh.

Diana covered her mouth. "What you don't like them?" She said innocently. "I can get them in pink."

Darien snorted with laughter, a look of mock horro on his face.
"Suddenly, pink has reached a whole new level of sick and wrong... And I kinda have a favour to ask..."

Esis strolled through the rose maze, playing hide and seek with Edwin. The boy was half hidden in one of the bushes and she was pretending her had not seen him.

"Gottcha!" She exclaimed, surprising him, much to his delight.
"Esy, no faiw." he laughed as she spun him around.

"Now let's just walk, okay?" Edwin nodded and she took his hand. "You know lovers often hide away in gardens like this..." she began.

"Haha, well it isn't exactly a lie is it?" Diana said referring to the underwear. "What sort of favour?" Diana plucked a rose and smelt it.

Kiara walked in to the guardens, Saturn still on her shoulder ((Her good one)) and the blue flames still licked her skin as she hummed the tune from the fountain.

Looking over she smiled as she saw Esis and Edwin getting along quite well.

"Are you two having fun?" she asked.

Esis turned around slowly. "Oye! You're glowing, Kiara!" she laughed.

Kiara looked down at her self.

"Oh oopes,"

Closing her eyes the blue flames died down and she returned to normal.

"Sorry, it does that some times, how is everything anyway? Alright?"

Esis shrugged her shoulders. "Could be worse I suppose." she said, watching Edwin run to the end of the rose bushes. "Eglantine is recovering and Edwin seems to be accepting her illness very well." she did not add that she thought he might be taking it too well.

Kiara nodded "thats good"

Looking at Edwin she shook her head.

"I didn't think he would though to be honest. Used to be he was glued to Eglantines side."

Then Kiara thought to her self.

"Perhaps it is something to do with their link..

"Maybe he knows she will be well again soon"

Or maybe he doesn't care Esis thought.

Out loud she said. "I think all children go through a stage where they want adventure... Eglantine is probably a bit to protective. At least she always was with." Esis stopped, almost letting something slip out. "Her nephews and niece."

Kiara riased her eye brow, Eglantine didn't seem that close with her niece, nor all that protective either.

Although she was protective of the students of hogwarts.

"Mothers are alway over protective of there first born, I don't blame her for being protective especialy at this age"

"Yeah..." Esis folded her arms. "So how have you been?"

Kiara sighed "oh fine I suppose, a bit lonely though probaly why I came here I guess."

Esis nodded. "I suppose it is lonely at the top. Tell me, Kiara...who is Viper?" She peered around the bush row to make sure Edwin was still within yelling distance.
"Edwin talks about her like some goddess."

Kiara smiled sadly.

"Amaranth Viper is the Potions Mistress and Head of Slytherin house, she seemed to has made a connection with Edwin from what I hear she looked after him once and I saw them plating together quite happily a few weeks ago. That might be why, she has fun with him."

"Ah, I see... Amaranth Viper... name sounds vaguely familiar." Of course it sounded familiar, you dolt, she cursed herself. She one of the last of the bloody Vipers!
"Is she on a holiday or something?"

Viper entered the rose garden with her 'courtesy smile' on her face, brightening a bit more when she noticed the Headmistress standing there talking to a witch whose identity Viper did not know.

"Kiara." Viper greeted as she approached the two women, nodding her acknowledgement of the unknown witch. "Sweet Circe, I'm gone for less than a week and I feel as though I've returned to a brand new place. Tell me, have my serpents been behaving? They haven't been too vicious, now have they?" she inquired, smirking lightly.

Esis gave the lovely witch a huge smile. The emerald eyes gave the identity of the woman away immediately, though she almost raised an eyebrow on the whitened hair...

"I'm Lachesis Malfoy-Genses. A pleasure to meet you, Viper!" she offered a hand.

Viper raised an eyebrow as the identity of the woman clicked. "Ah, you're Professor Delanquar's cousin." she said taking the offered hand. "Pleasure. Tell me, how is Professor Delanquar? Is she any better?"

Smiling Kiara turned and said.

"Ah Viper welcome back"

Glancing at Esis waited for her answer on how Eglantine was doing.

"She is doing slightly better, but I am confident she will pull through." Esis pointed her wand out into the bushes and accioed a wandering Edwin. He was all wet. "What happened to you, bairn?" she asked, laughing at his wet clothes.

He giggled as she tickled him. "I humped into the pown."

Viper nodded, keeping her expression neutral. "How fortunate for her." she smiled slightly at Edwin, mock-sighing. "Oh dear, dear Edwin. Now you're going to give your aunt white hairs! Just like your mother!"

"Viper!" Edwin shouted, just noticing the witch. He threw his arms around her, looking up at her happily.
