The Infirmary

Juria up at Raven's side at once, she put her hand against Raven's forehead and the other one on the back and somewhat compressed it a little to ease the pain.

She softly muttered

"Caput capitis sentio melior"

The simple spell was to make the headache dull down so it didn’t hurt so much. Juria was tearing herself up on the inside that she had not done anything else to help the girl.

Raven felt better on the spot she still had a slight fever so she laid back down realizing Juria would always be there for her and she felt nice inside.

"Thank you Juria" she thanked her which is rare for her to thank someone.

Juria nodded, seeming to get the thank you but she didn’t smile or anything. All Juria did was keep helping. Taking one hand off of Raven's head, but leaving the one on her forehead, she simply put he hand up to lights so it was darker in the room. Juria knew that light could sometimes bother a headache. Juria took her hand off of Raven's head and headed over to a cupboard. She got out a bottle and out of that she took a pill. Filling a glass of cool water, she went back to Raven with the pill and water.

"Here, take this it will make your fever and headache get better and soon go completely away..."

Juria was still kicking herself about not being a good doctor and right now was not smiling and had the look of worry clearly on her face.

Raven took the pill without arguing with her and drank all the water. "Your hands are cold" she mentioned and it felt good on her forehead. She never felt so loved before and cared for at first Raven never even believed in love until now.

Juria nodded, her mind still racing with diagnostics and self-contempt.

"Well i would assume everyone's hands would feel cold, you are burning."

Juria sat back down and leaned back, still not smiling.

"Do you feel any better?"

She asked in worry.

Raven closed her eyes "I'm fine" she didn't want Juria to worry about her so she lied to her. She didn't want to but she just wanted Juria to be happy.

"I'll be O.k" Raven got up and started to walk around the room and fell.

"Heh heh? i tripped?" she tried to lie.

Juria rolled her eyes and walked over and picked up the girl then put her back in bed.

"Nice try, but epic fail."

Juria smiled again finally.

"It will only be ok when you are REALLY ok."

Juria laughed and put her hand to Raven's forehead again.

"You seem like you are already starting to get better.... just a tad less hot than before"

Juria then went out of the room and got a thermometer. Putting it in the girls ear the thermometer said - 102.5 F

"I'm sorry I didn’t help you sooner Raven, I should have seen you were going to have a fever..."

Juria turned her eyes back down to the floor, whenever she was not there for someone it reminded her of hurting someone and that hurting reminded her of her lost memories. This always made Juria feel even worse.

Juria then got up and put the thermomaeter away, but was prolonged due to the fact that it would not completely fit in the case at first.

Raven took Juria's dairy and put her book on top of the diary and started reading trying not to get caught she noticed question marks on the dates and was curious what that meant. She wanted to ask but Juria might take the dairy away from her so she just kept on reading.

Juria came back into the room after her struggle with the thermometer. She saw Raven out of bed and her back was turned.

"Raven, what are you doing?"

She wondered aloud since it appeared Raven was looking down at something on the counter.

"You are supposed to stay in bed you know"

Juria added with a light laugh.

"Oh um I need some more water please is you don'y mind"

Raven waited until she left the room and looked back in the diary snickering to see on Juria's past but what hit her were those question marks. Raven was entirely confused about the weird format of the diary. By just flipping through it she could tell that more than 12 years of it had just been question marks and only four years of it were written. In those four years Juria had written something about 'it' but Raven didn't know what it was. From reading this book Raven got overly curious and decided to try to find out more.

Juria came back to where Raven was and said,

"Alright kiddo, get back to bed."

She chuckled, happy to see that Raven was getting better.

Raven didn't notice Juria coming and she didn't hear her she was to attached to the diary filling her head with unanswered questions. "What does this all mean?" She asked herself out loud in confusion

"What does what mean?"

Juria was now actually interested in what Raven was doing, walking over to where she was she taped Raven twice on the shoulder.

"Ok kiddo, what are you up to? You are supposed to be in bed"

Juria smiled down at Raven, who was obviously hiding something.

"AHH! HEY DON'T SNEAK UP ON ME LIKE THAT!!!" Raven hurried and hid the book somewhere so she can continue reading but she swore she thought Juria saw her diary so Raven hoped she did not see.

Juria raised her eyebrow; she had not known she was being so sneaky.

"Why should I worry about sneaking up on you if you have nothing to hide?"

Juria smiled, showing white teeth and somewhat pointed k-9’s.

"Come on get back to bed, you are still sick and I’m not letting you go till you get better."

Juria helped Raven over to the bed and sat down next to the chair.

Raven made sure she didn't see the diary and hid it under the bed and realized she forgot her other book and smacked her forehead thinking she was stupid.

Juria saw that she smacked her head and questioned,

"What is it?"

Juria wondered why all of a sudden Raven was acting weird and if she was thinking something else or knew something.

"Uuhh nothing heheheh i forgot tooo umm do something that's all hehehe" She smiled innocently hoping she won't notice anything suspicious.

Juria of course noticed something was suspicious and crossed her arms and raised both her eyebrows.

"Thats NOT all is it Raven?"

Juria laughed lightly, now sure that Raven was getting much better.

"Of course it is what are you saying???" Raven giggled then had a shock look on her face and thought herself

did i just...laugh right now??? Raven's emotions gotten awkward on her.

Juria smiled, happy to hear Raven's laugh.

"Ok sure, if you say so."

Juria smiled kindly and leaned over to feel Raven's temperature again.

"You are getting better, I wonder what happened."

Raven wasn’t sure what it was about the woman that was helping her but she knew she acted strangely around her. Raven's mind then went back to the diary with all the question marks, and her curiosity got the best of her. Not seeming as if she desperately wanted to know she simply asked Juria, “So what has your past been like?” Raven paused to see Juria’s reactions.

Juria looked at her and smiled,

"Oh it’s not much; I went to Hogwarts like you and then I studied to be a doctor and now I’m here."

Juria didn’t mention that she had a 12 year gap in her memory and had no idea what she did then. It was true that Juria wanted to help this girl and see her happy but she wasn’t about to go and tell her darkest secret.

Raven frowned and looked at Juria.

"That's not all of it is it? Your diary had question marks on pages what did it mean?"

Raven even more curious now she really wanted to know for she was very interested.

Juria suddenly got the look of shock and seemed if she was actually scared. Then raising one eyebrow she asked calmly – not wanting Raven to think she was mad,

"You... read my diary?"

Juria was sure she had put it back in her quarters, but now she remembered she had to quickly go out and had left it on the counter. Juria now knew that she was in a tight spot, she hoped she would be able to get out of it without the girl desperately wanting to know about her life that even she didn’t know about.
