Main Library

"Hello Becca," Diana said smiling at the newcomer. "So Hufflepuff huh? What year are you in?"

"Well, I'm in first year," Becca smiled, "What year are you in? And what house are you in?" She asked. She opened up her to the first page not even reading the title to see what it was. She was hearing little noises here and there from other people and couldn't concentrate. She saw Raven reading and couldn't believe how she could concentrate in all the noise.

"How could you do that?" Becca asked.

"I'm a sixth year and in Gryffindor." Diana said.

"Wow," Becca smiled at Diana, "That's really cool, I want to be in the 6th year," Becca said.

Diana chuckled. "No you don't, the work load is quite a pile."

Raven laughed, "Tell me about it, You have hardly any free time, Why do you want to rush school? You should enjoy it," Raven said and shook her head and went back to read.

"Well it was very pleasant meeting the both of you, I think I'll go now." Diana said.

"Ok bye," Becca said as she put away the book that she was reading.

Raven looked up from her book and smiled, "Bye Diana it was nice meeting you, I hope we see each other some other time." Raven was glad she made a new friend to hang out with. She watched her leave and looked back at Becca.

"Hi Raven!'' Becca said excitedly.

"Hello Becca," Raven said with a bored face. She closed her book and looked out the window that was next to her. It was bright and sunny and the bushes were brushing against the window.

Becca giggled and watched Raven read, "Your funny."

Raven rolled her eyes at Becca, "I don't do funny." Raven stood up, "It was nice talking to you but I'm leaving good bye," Raven said picking up her book and walking away. She passed by all the books in shelves and all the people talking. She left Becca behind and walked out the library. She was kind of disappointed that she didn't get to read hardly of her book.

"Bye..." Becca said annoyed. She didn't like people leaving her behind so she got up and left the library also.

Amanda likes to read. She just started to read when she heard a voice and looked up.

Raven opened up the library doors and noticed Delilah was following her. She rolled her eyes when Delilah was calling after her. She walked passed rows of books not caring for anyone looking at her mad and annoyed face. She sighed and passed people who were putting away books and getting out books from the shelf.

Raven passed by Amanda who was reading books but didn't quiet pay attention to her, she can still her the 1st year Gryffindor yelling after her.

The back of the library has to be safe Raven thought going throw a row of books and taking a detour to the back of the library. She took a deep breath once she got to the end and was relieved she doesn't have to see the Gryffindor again and closed her eyes relaxing. Raven wasn't in the mood of making friends, she didn't want to, she was the loner type. She looked up at the ceiling wondering how her mother was doing but didn't know why she was thinking about her mother.

"Maybe I should owl her..." she whispered.

Delilah followed her all the way to the library but lost her when she went to the back of the library.

"Drat....oh well...." Delilah walked away wanting to make new friends.

Taylor looked up from his book he was reading and saw Raven sitting down, "Raven! What are you doing here!?" he asked smiling handsomely at her.

Raven smiled widely when she saw Taylor and she hugged him, "Hi!!! I haven't seen you in like what? A long time!!!" She giggled letting go of the hug. She blushed then took out a book to read.

Taylor chuckled and hugged Raven vback then let go, "I'm glad your not a book abuser like most people..." Taylor rubbed the ripped, torn, and written on book that was sitting on his lap. He sighed and felt the pain the book was having at this very moment, "I wish I can help it..." He said sadly.

Raven looked at th3e abused book and frowned, "I feel bad..." she said sadly. She opened up to her book and started reading the first page of Inkdeath, the last series of Inkheart.

Taylor smiled looking at the book, "Hey I love those series! I'm almost done with the last done, I'm on the last chapter." he took out the same exact book "Inkdeath" out of his bag. It looked bran new considering him not harming books.

"You know what's crazy? I don't know why but I LOVE the smell of the pages of a bran new books," he laughed thinking he was insane, hopefully Raven wouldn't be to weird about it.

"Wow, that's so cool!" Raven blushed scooting closer to Taylor. They were sitting on the floor leaning against the bookshelf. She then laughed when Taylor said he liked the smell of the pages of a book, "Wow that's crazy...because I love the smell of pages as well," she smiled.

Taylor laughed and looked around nervously then looked at Raven, "Raven...I-I don't know how to say it...but ever since I laid my eyes on you I fell in love with you," he studdered and his whole face turned read. He turned around so Raven wouldn't be able to see him.

Raven looked at Taylor shocked, "You...like me?" She looked down not knowing what to think, this would be the first person that liked her and so she doesn't know how to react on it.
