The Hog's Head

"Then what IS the answer? sitting around and doing nothing!? that's pathetic!" Raven noticed she got angry and never felt so different she usually keeps her emotions all bottled up but she noticed every time when she is with Juria her emotions come out. She was suspicious of Juria.

Juria smiled but her eyes seemed to get dark, as if hiding something.

"No, being pathetic is getting into a fight just because someone messed with you a little. If everyone hit or fought the person that made them just a little annoyed the world would be a terrible place, control your temper Raven. Violence is NEVER the answer."

Juria's eyes seemed to have a deep hidden characteristic within them. Juria hated to see people who were mean to others and always tried to put down violence.

"Raven... its better to simply put them off and tell them they are morons and need to grow up than getting in a fight... do you understand?"

Juria smiled kindly at the student, hoping that the girl would get what she meant.

Raven gave Juria cold glare "but calling them names is just as bad as fighting and calling people names will get me into a fight" Raven always hated getting lectures and being wrong so she would always try to support what she says as much as she can.

Juria didn’t show any sign that Raven even had a cold glare and simply said,

"I never said call them names, I said that you should tell them off by saying that it is silly of them to be so childish to want to fight. And I'm against violence but not self-defense. If someone really starts something with you of course you can defend yourself, but not if you were the one that wanted to fight in the first place."

Juria knew that she could argue the point forever; in classes that she had debates in she had always been able to demolish the opposing side. Juria laughed and her eyes danced around mischievously,

"Try not to argue with me Raven, I'm not here to argue I'm here to give advice."

Juria drank more of her butterbeer so that there was only a little left now.

"Well your advice is ridiculous!!! lets change the topic!!!" Raven said angrily and didn't know what else to say

Juria smiled, but inside she cringed from the hurtful comment that the girl said.

"Have you met all your professors? Or are you still getting settled into school?"

Juria said, glad to change the topic.

"No i haven't i don't even know nothing about this school just this place the infirmary and you. If you ask me i think this is a pretty boring place" Raven said rudely. She finished her buttermilk and started reading her book with sadness in her eyes feeling bad for being rude to Juria.

"I'm sorry for saying you advice is ridiculous... I just got a little bit mad I don't know why either i never gave out emotion before"

Juria nodded, her confidence slightly restored.

"By the end of this year you will know its a home away from home... you should also try to get close to the professors... you should meet Professor Viper. She is the head of Slytherin house and I’m sure she would like to meet you."

Juria gave a soft smile, trying to tell Raven that it was alright that she had been rude, Juria could take it.

"Don’t worry about it, I’m sure it was only a act from your adrenal glands... and temper, we all say stupid things sometimes."

Juria tried to reassure Raven that it had been ok about what she said. Juria was patient and able to take all kinds of negative remarks.

Raven started sweating and felt her face "I don't feel that well" she started burning up and laid her head on the table and moaned in pain.

"My head hurts and i feel dizzy" she said shivering as if she was cold.

Juria reached over and put her hand against Raven's forehead.

"Raven... you are burning up!"

Juria suddenly got the look of a doctor, her eyes narrowed and her smile disappeared, numerous thoughts of sicknesses went through her head and she carefully deciphered them all.

"Lets get you back to the Infirmary, I can take better care of you there."

Juria got out of her seat, leaving money on the table she went around and supported Raven.

"Can you walk? Or do you feel really dizzy?"

Raven's world was spinning in circles and everything was muffling in her ears she kept on tripping on the way to the infirmary. Her eyes got watery and couldn't really see she grasped Juria's coat and fell.

Calista entered the Hog's Head and noticed a familiar man. "Raoul!"
"Hi Sis." Raoul looked happy to see her. She sat down opposite him and smiled.
"So, what's all this about a mysterious rescuer?" Raoul grinned.
Calista paused. "Okay, but one condition, you not say anything until I've finished explaining."
Raoul raised an eyebrow but nodded. "Alright."
By the time Calista had finished explaining, Raoul's expression had become stone. "Calista, you can't do this."
"What?"
"Marry a Casillas?! What are you thinking?!"
Calista's jaw locked. "He has a name."
"Not to me."
Calista glared at her brother. "Don't talk about him that way."
"His family is the enemy! He's the enemy!"
Calista's gaze grew cold. "He is not."
"He is!"
"Dad's got you very well conformed hasn't he? Already brainwashed you. You never did have much of a backbone."
Raoul's eyes blazed. "You're besotted! You don't even know he's not just using you!"
"I think I know better than you do! You haven't even met him! You have no right to judge!" Calista snarled back.
Raoul stood up. "Well I'm going to."
"No!" Calista stood up and grabbed her brother's arm. "Sit down!"
Raoul paused. "No. I'm going to go meet your little friend."
"Expelliarmus!" Calista caught Raoul's wand. "Now you can."
Raoul snarled. "Give me back my wand."
"Not while you're threatening Armando."
Raoul cursed. "I'll threaten who I goddam please."
Calista's eyes blazed. "Well not Armando."
"What is wrong with you? Give me my wand!"
Tears formed in Calista's eyes. "Nothing's wrong with me! I see what Dad and all the others do. They close your mind. They forbid you from doing anything. They make you into mindless followers!"
"You're talking rubbish..." Raoul's tone softened.
"No I'm not!" Calista swallowed, hard. "I trusted you! I asked you to come here, I wanted to see you! I thought you'd understand, I thought you'd be different. But I was wrong. You're just another Vaight!"
Raoul stuck his chin out. "So what if I am a Vaight? Are you turning your back on us now? What's stopping me going to tell father everything, and see if he'd like to pay Armando a visit?"
Calista pointed her wand directly at his chest. "Me. I won't let you do that."
"Try and stop me."
Calista felt a tear roll down her cheek. "I will if you try it. If you try and betray me, I will."
"How exactly?" Raoul raised an eyebrow.
Calista sniffed. "I'll remove your memories."
Raoul faltered. "You wouldn't dare-"
"Wouldn't I?"
There was a pause.
"I won't let you ruin this Raoul. I won't let you hurt him."
Raoul gazed at his sister strangely. "...You really love him don't you?"
"Yes." Calista's eyes stopped watering. "Of course I do. And he loves me."
Raoul sighed and glanced down at his shoes. "Well..I guess...-"
"You won't tell Dad?" Calista didn't dare to believe it.
"Let me finish. I...You're my favourite sister and...I want you to be happy."
"What about Dad?"
"Forget Dad. I'm an adult. I'll do what I want."
"Really?!" Calista flung her arms around her brother's neck.
"Okay Sis...Get the hell off me." Raoul glanced around awkwardly.
"What? Am I ruining your tough guy rep?"
"Kinda...Yeah."
Calista laughed. "I don't care." But she released him.
Raoul sighed. "So how many are coming to your wedding?"
"Put it this way, about two other Vaights."
"Is that including me?" Raoul asked.
"...No."
Raoul faked hurt. "oh, so I'm not on the guest list? Your favourite brother? Do I get excluded? What did I do?!"
"You mean other than the ranting just now?"
Raoul fixed her with a stare. "oh, so who is coming then?"
"Ana and Darien."
"Reginald's kids? Second-cousins get an invite, but not me!?"
"I never said you weren't invited."
"You never said I was invited."
Calista sighed. "Okay then, would you like to come to my wedding?"
Raoul paused and scratched his head. "oh my god, this is so unexpected...yeah I'll come."
Calista laughed.
"But one condition."
Calista raised an eyebrow.
"Nothing daft! I swear!" Raoul raised his hands to shoulder height.
"Alright, let's hear it." Calista rolled her eyes.
Raoul smirked. "I meet the groom. Now."
"Now?"
"Are you deaf? Now."
"...Okay, I guess." Calista stood up. "Oh, and before I forget." She turned to face Raoul. "Will you give me away?"
Raoul choked. "Me?..."
"Well, if you don't want to..."
"No-No...I..." His face broke into a grin. "I'd like that."
"Great."
"Now let's go meet the love of your life...Oh, and if he hurts you, I'll kill him." Raoul muttered.
Calista pouted. "Fine." She wordlessly sent a small flash of green light from the tip of her wand, out through the door.

Armando worried put all his energy into pacing. He hoped that Calista's meeting with her brother when as well as the meeting with his sister and father... if not... well that would have been bad... what an understatement. He felt rather guilty to be honest. His sister was coming to the wedding, and his father, and all Calista had was her second-cousin's who didn't even seem close to her all that much. He knew how important it was for this to work out for her...

Suddenly his musings were interrupted by green light headed his direction. He sighed relieved and went inside the pub.

He sought Calista out and headed to her table.

Calista smiled as Armando appeared.

"Is this him?" Raoul asked, watching Armando warily.

Calista rolled her eyes. "I told you before, his name is Armando."

Raoul wrestled with himself for a moment. But he put Calista's happiness first. "Hi...Armando. I understand you want to marry my sister. I'm Raoul...And despite my father's...As long as you make her happy, I won't go against you."

"I hope I make her happy, and yes I do want to marry your sister." Armando said looking at Calista. "Hello Raoul." Armando gave him his hand to shake.

Calista smiled.

Raoul shook Armando's hand. "Oh, and I'll be giving her away, unless you object..."

"No not at all." Armando said. He didn't think though, that Raoul would appreciate the 'she's already mine' comment he wanted to say so he stayed quiet.

Calista grinned. "Great."

"So when is this wedding?" Raoul asked. "And...when's the...birth?"

Calista laughed. "You sound so freaked out."

"Hey, you're my sister, I'm allowed to be freaked out." Raoul smirked. "Still, when is it?"

"Four and a half months."

Raoul laughed. "Very precise."

Calista touched the bump on her abdomen. "Whatever uncle...Hm...when is the wedding?" She asked Armando.

"I thought we were planning it on Jan..." Armando said. "Yep, the first week of Jan."

Raoul thought for a moment. "Great! I can miss Jerome's one month anniversary party!"

Calista laughed. "He really should've grown out of those by now."

She turned to Armando. "Our elder brother, Jerome, has a one-month anniversary party with every single one of his many girlfriends."

Raoul rolled his eyes. "Costs a fortune. And I reckon it's also why Calista didn't date for like five years..."

Calista pouted. "No it wasn't - I was waiting for my perfect guy...Armando." She hugged his arm.

Armando smiled at the siblings. He was really glad that Raoul turned out to be reasonably okay with everything.

Calista smiled back. "Oh, and Jerome is NOT coming to the wedding."

"If he comes, I leave." Raoul muttered.

"And neither's dad. Obviously." Calista added, still hugging Armando's arm.

Armando smiled back at her.

"I an so happy you can join us for the wedding Raoul. I know it means so much to Calista... And in that effect me. Just to warn you though, my father is going to be there and the last thing I want is a brawl on our wedding day."

Raoul nodded. "I get it. I'll steer clear of him."

"And avoid starting a fight..." Calista muttered.

"And avoid starting a fight." Raoul repeated reluctantly.

"Good, now that that's settled what should we do now?"
