The Hog's Head

The Hog's Head is another pub, which often attracts a more unusual and private clientele than the Three Broomsticks, and many of the customers hide their faces

Ana watched the ancient sign advertising the pub creak in the breeze, pulled her cloak hood up to cover her head and entered, determined not to attract attention. She sat down, near enough to the door for an easy escape, but far enough away to be dfficult to overhear and waited.
A tall boy entered and threw back his hood, revealing straight black hair clipped short. Ana remained where she was, smirking slightly as the figure glanced around.
"Brother dear, is that you?" She put on a fake innocent voice as the boy sat down opposite her.
"Shut up. I knew you were here."
"Undoubtably."
"Show me some respect! I am your elder brother for merlin's sake!"
Ana rolled her eyes, the effect ruined slightly by the shadow covering her face, but Darien noticed all the same. The Vaights had abnormally good eyesight, which came in handy.
"Shout that just a little bit louder Darien, I'm not sure the half-deaf man in the nursing home in Australia quite heard you." Noticing he was about to retaliate, Ana spoke quickly. "Now, have you got over your qualms and pathetic-ness?"
Darien glared at her. "I never had qualms. I worried for my skin. If the Dark Lord killed he who helped bring him back, what chance do we stand? I thought. It wasn't an overly stupid mistake."
"Debatable."
"Enough of this. Father says you have to help Viper any way you can."
"Please inform father I have already offered my services."
Darien scowled. "We know. He says don't get arrogant."
"And I say get off my back."
Darien looked somewhere between a scowl and a slight grin. His face split into a real, proper laugh, silent but strangely happy. Like when they were little. He reached across and patted Ana on the shoulder. "That," he muttered, his voice strangely brotherly, "is my little sister." Pulling his hood back over his face, he stood up. "I'd better be going."
Ana nodded, and noticed his grin. A friendly, brotherly grin. He hadn't grinned at her in that proud and caring way since before he went to Durmstrang. "You're glad not to be there any more aren't you?"
His face became blank again. "Yes, I am."
Ana's smile faded too. "You should have told me, you could have come here, I could've helped you."
The siblings left through the door, and paused at the end of the lane. "No little sis, it's my job to help you."
Ana rolled her eyes. "You sound like a bloody Gryffindor."
"Yeah, well you look like one."
Ana made a noise of outrage, and punched Darien hard on the shoulder. He didn't even flinch. "Better than usual, but still not good enough."
Rolling her eyes, Ana turned.
"Remember the plan, Ana."
"I know, I know."
She started to walk. And was stopped by a giant bear hug which knocked the air out of her lungs.
"And that is how you win a fight." Darien grinned down at her. "Never turn your back on the enemy."
Regaining her breath, Ana rolled her eyes, her hood no longer covering her face. "Take care brother mine, one day I shall defeat you."
"In your dreams Ana, in your dreams." He began to stride away, covering vast distances wth each step. At the end of the street he paused and looked over his shoulder. Ana stood up, carefully. Nope, nothing broken. What was with Darien today?
"Oh, and Ana, try not to mess this up." Then he was gone.
For so many years he'd been annoying and glaring, now her brother was back. Ana pulled up her hood and headed back into town.
"Welcome back, Darien."

Bellatrix Rosier pulled her cloak hood further over her blonde hair and sighed. The youngest member of her group of friends, Ana Vaight, was supposed to be meeting her here in a few minutes.
Lacking the patience that her family was known for, Bella looked around waiting for the girl.

Ana wandered into the pub, noticing the familiar flaking paint and mud-coated floor. Why did they have to meet in such run-down places?
Ana noticed Bella standing inside and walked up to her.
"Hi Bella."

"Ana." her friend greeted, steely eyes scanning their surroundings. "Did you see anyone follow you in here?"

Ana pushed her fringe from her eyes and listened intently.
"No-one."
She was certain.
"I set a spell-trap, anyone following me would have triggered it."

"Good, sit then." Bella motioned for the younger girl to sit next to her and then sighed.

Ana sat down at the chipped wooden table and tried not to touch the surface, which was coated in grime.
"So, what's the plan?"

"Helena honestly, why do you want to go here?" Diana said following her friend yet again. She clutched her locket in annoyance. "While there is Three Broomsticks just over there?"

"It's crowded in there. Come on Diana," Helena pulled her along. "Where is your sense of adventure?" She pushed the doors open.

"I left it in the Gryffindor Tower, sorry." Diana muttered walking in as well.

"See this place isn't that bad." Helena said looking around interestedly. Helena pointed at a small blonde Slytherin. "Hey, isn't she a first year?"

"Yeah... What is she doing here?" Diana said with a frown.

"Diana, where are you going?"

"I have to bring her back to the Castle, it's against the rules, as a Prefect I must..."

"Yeah yeah don't go all Prefect-y on me." Helena said following Diana.

Ana felt the magical thread snap.
"Look out." She hissed under her breath as she turned to see two Gryffindors approaching.
Ana smirked at her friend, showing the Gryffindors the usual degree of disdain.
"Oh, look who it is... Didn't I fight you before?"

Diana ignored the comment and said, "What are you doing here? First years aren't allowed to go to Hogsmeade. As a Prefect I must escort you back to the Castle."

Ana rolled her eyes.
"Father has given me permission and it's all been cleared with the headmistress."
She turned to Bella. "Gryffindors..." She rolled her eyes. "Always so thick. Wouldn't you agree Bella?"

"Why you little..!" Diana stopped Helena.

"I'd like to see proof of that, if you don't mind." Diana said.

"What a shame...I do happen to mind."
Ana sat backwards, resting her back on the chair, wand held tightly under the table. Turning to her quiet friend, she grinned.
"Do you think we should show this... Prefect" she put unecessary stress and doubt on the word, "quite why we are permitted into Hogsmeade and others aren't?"
Ana smirked slightly, the corner of her mouth twisting upwards and a defiant fighting glint appearing in her eyes while she waited for her friend to reply.

((I think it would be best if you two invited Chunkin (or whatever her name is) to become powerful with you... I have my hands full with Professor DeLanquar...and Bella will be moving to Germany with her father...))

Bella rolled her eyes. "Ana is here with me and has permission." she was not in the fighting mood. After all, she had received word that her brother and mother had been killed.

Diana nodded at the Slytherin's words and started to leave.

"Wait..." Helena said. "That's all? You're not going to..."

"No," Diana replied. "Let's go."

Ana glared at the retreating Gryffindors, then turned back to her friend.

"Bella? I'm-I'm sorry."

"For what?" Bella shrugged. A waiter brought the drinks she had ordered and she sipped a firewhiskey.

((Oi! So what if I´m a RAVY?!?!?!))

April sighed. She had barged in the HM´s office and walked out with ´idiot´ pasted on her face. All she needed atop her ´sundae of suicide´ was to see the girl she had wanted to report. She slowly crept out and walked over to the three broomsticks.

"Never mind."
Ana sipped her drink quietly and waited for her friend to speak. The thread had been triggered twice, presumably by the same person entering and then leaving.

Juria walked into the Hog's Head and ordered a Butterbeer. She was on "off" time and wanted to revisit the places she used to go around while in Hogwarts.

Juria sighed and sat in a table for two, happy to relax for once.

Rachyy wandered warily into Hogs Head and sat down at a table in a far dark corner where no one could see her. She was hoping to stay hidden with Addehkai. She didnt feel like dealing with people as she was in a horrid mood.

Juria noticed something shimmering in the corner, and thought

"What is that, thats new, maby it is some herb poweder someone dropped."

Juria went closer to the yellow unidentified substance and in getting closer, she noticed that it was scales, attched to a girl...

"Rachyy?"

Juria reconized her and Addehkai at once as soon as she looked at the whole picture

"Oh...hi miss Juria, how did you find me?" asked the young sad girl. She had tears forming in her eyes. Addekhai slithered up Jurias body and revealed a slash on his side.

Juria supported the snake with her hand, making sure that he was well supported she then looked at the slash. Juria's eyes widdened then narrowed to look at it

"What happened...?"

she asked at once, her doctor side taking over quickly.

Getting out her wand she pointed it at the snake and quickly said

"Induco seco"

Addekhai's shash mark quickly covered up with skin and looked as if he had never been hurt in the first place. Juria then turned her attntion over to the girl.

Getting a chair from another table, she sat down with Rachyy.

In a calm tone that was soothing, she asked the young girl

"Please tell me what happened..."
