Amy's stare went cold

"A couple were arrested and sent to prison, unfortunatly not the one I had the pleasure of meeting. He ecaped apprarently, so unless someone killed him by now he is still out there doing god knows what"

Nicolas made sure to keep any emotion from his voice. "I see." Already his mind was calculating the chances of him and this 'man' meeting and just exactly what he would do with him.

Amy raised her eye brow by him reponse, she could practically see the gears in his head turning.

"Yes well, my turn to ask a question, what is between your family and the Vaights anyway? seems like your entire family has something against them"

Nicolas wanted to know more but he let Amy change the topic.

Nicolas scoffed."With good reason. Vaights and Casillas just don't mix. It's in our blood."

Amy folded her arms in front her and looked at Nick.

"That is what everyone says about Gryffindors and Slytherins, come on there has to be a better reason then that"

"And look at how they get along! Alright, how about Darien Vaight's a jerk?" Nicolas supplied.

Amy nodded, "He can be, what happend in Puddifoot's is a prime example, however he isn't always like that, only when he is around you it seems.... which may cause problems"

"Why would it cause problems?" Nicolas asked confused.

"Cause when I am with you he will act like a jerk... I guess in that respect both me and Diana are in the same boat... caught between loyalties between you and Darien.... wait you did know that Aiden and I are friends with Darien and Ana Vaight right?" Amy asked a bit of worry in her voice.

"Yes... that is what Diana tells me. And I don't expect anything less, seeing as your both from the same house. But I don't see how your friendship with him should affect... us."

Amy smiled "hmm good, personally I am more worried about him being mad at me then you, I just hope he gets over it, anyway when should you have dinner at ower house?"

((Same timeline as the previous conversation between Sevastyan and HM Kiara, but different than the one above w/ Amy and Diana))

"I am. . . sorry to hear that you vere forced to retire," Sevastyan offered. The pause wasn't hesitance because he didn't like Aurors, but rather because he had to search for a moment for a good word to use. "And I had thought that might have been how you knew Ingolf, from vot ve discussed, but I vosn't sure. Unless it is an urgent matter, I generally don't like to press the issue." Sevastyan gave a small smile in response.

"Vot made you decide to become an auror, aside from vanting to help and protect people? If you don't mind my asking, of course," he asked.

Kiara thought for a moment, why had she?

"Becasue I was good at it I suppose, I was in Hogwarts during the height of the second war and fell under the appreticeship of Severus Snape, he taught me many things on how to survive at hogwarts while it was full of dark wizards. By the time Severus died I knew how to think like dark wizards and became very good at fighting them...." she paused as if replaying the events in her mind

Pulling she self out of her memories she looked at Sevastyan and smiled. "but my heart was for protecting people, it is a instinct now"

"I too vish to protect ... most people, though I don't believe I vould have had vot it takes to be an Auror," Sevastyan admitted, though left out the part about if he'd had to own up to a lot of things he did in the past he'd probably be banned from even teaching at Hogwarts due to the school governors' fears that he was a 'Horcrux-making murderer' even though he'd never make one of those on purpose. Sevastyan had changed quite a bit for the better since the war had taken one of his cousins.

"Severus Snape..." Sevastyan repeated the name. Where had he seen that name? Then, it hit him. "His portrait vos in your office, correct? Long black hair and a bit stern, yes? I've heard this name before..." he trailed off, only a hint of memory linking the face of the portrait and now the name to match.


((Sevastyan's brother, Grigoriy, looked up to Snape, though the latter didn't know it. However, Grigoriy doesn't know all the facts about Snape either. That's how Sevastyan knows the name.))

Kiara looked at Sevastyan curiously, "Well he was a noted potion master and a talented curse maker. Many of his curse are used today, " she said think of ways Sevastyan could have heard of Sev out side hogwarts.

"Ah, I remember now vhere I know of him from. Ve never met, but his accomplishments have indeed found their vay to my country," Sevastyan confirmed in a nod. He didn't exactly say which specialty between the two he had become familiar with. Not only that, but his brother looked up to Snape a great deal when he'd heard of the man's accomplishments within Voldemort's ranks. What kind of a surprise would Grigoriy get when and if Sevastyan told him that Severus Snape had actually taught an auror rather than trained a dark sorceress?

"Vos he a good teacher, in your opinion? Or more suited to his other fields?" Sevastyan inquired curiously.

Kiara raised her eye brow, "If by other fields you mean dark arts then you would be correct, he wasn't the most pateint of people hence being a good teach was difficult for him. I learned by trial, error and consequence."

"Oh, I see. Forgive my partial ignorance; by other fields I meant specialties aside from teaching, as in he vos more fond of potions than students. I understand now that standing in a room full of students apparently vosn't his most favorite thing to be doing," Sevastyan replied. "He sounds very much like a few of my professors at Durmstrang, though I do not mean for that to sound wrongly."


"Vot interesting facts are there about Hogsmeade? I am avare it is but one of a very few all-magical communities, but sadly that is about all I know," Sevastyan asked, deciding to change the topic from what he perceived as treacherous waters to something a bit safer.

Kiara noticed the sudden change in topic but let is go.

"Hogsmeade is a simple magic village, student from howarts come here on the weekends to visit the various shops, to buy sweets and jokes. it is a nice village.... dispite some of the people here being remarkable rude" she gumbed the last part as she noticed more people staring at them.

"There's alvays vone in every bunch, I find," Sevastyan commented in regards to rude people. "I just vosn't expecting this 'varm' of a velcome," he added, an eyebrow hiked up at the stressed word, which had also been inflected with light sarcasm.

"Though, I suppose their suspicion is not unfounded vot vith all the publicity. They have just as much a right to be reluctant as I do to be slightly irritated by their mistrust," he sighed heavily. Being under scrutiny for these past few minutes seemed to have lessened Sevastyan's sensitivity to it.

Kiara sighed, he shouldn't have to put up with though he had little to do with the inccident in drumstrang and it irritated her to now end on how insensitve people could be,

Take as sip of her forgotten tea she grimsped, it was ice cold, taing the cup in her hand she glowed with a blue fite that heated up the tea in side to a steaming hot again.

"Ah that is better, nice and hot"

Amy smiled "alright, I will need to owl them then, how Next weekand all right. Aiden and I have something we need to attend to this weekend (Dueling comp lol)

"Next weekend sounds great." Nicolas said smiling.

Amy smiled "Have ever been to the muggle world before?"
