Appearance: Tall – but an inch or two shorter than Dolf Kaiser – and rather fit. The young man is mostly solid muscle, and looks as though has no qualms with going through instead of around various obstacles. In fact... it seems as though that’s his preferred method of dealing with obstacles. He has dark hazel eyes and the brown hair atop his head is often mussed as though he’d just been in a fight, sticking up at various angles. It drives his mother crazy, and hence why he wears it that way. Not to mention it makes him look at least as tall as Dolf, if not an inch taller... One look at him usually gives one the assessment that he’s quite the live wire in of the chaotic kind.

Description:
Baltasar, known as Balt by his friends, is far from the quiet-type personality of best friend Dolf Kaiser, yet the pair get along famously. The young man is fairly talkative and mostly amicable. It has been jokingly said that Balt is really the personification of Dolf’s vocal chords, hence why one of the pair speaks a lot while the other hardly at all. Because of Baltasar’s rather chaotic and sometimes hyperactive energy, it is sometimes rather easy for him to lose focus on something or not see a finer detail he would’ve seen had he stood still for ten seconds and actually scrutinize the target. He is intelligent, but the problem lies in desiring to put that intelligence to good use... Precision is only bestowed to a few things in Balt’s life. The rest of it is guessed or comes to the closest approximation for the least amount of effort. When it comes to doing the “dirty work” Baltasar doesn’t mind diving in head first, often in tow with Dolf.

A smile can be seen on this young man’s face many times within the given course of the day. However... there is one peculiar smile of his that is more like a devious half grin that, like Dolf’s smile, surely indicates that someone is in trouble. One is more than able to tell the difference between normal smiling and other expressions that clearly display that the recipient is in deep dragon dung.

Balt is a mostly-tolerant to rather liberal individual, with a ‘nearly anything goes’ type of attitude. There virtually is no dare he won’t participate in, no feat that is too dangerous to attempt, and certainly nothing wrong with causing trouble so long as one doesn’t get caught. And if they do... oh well. The only things he really doesn’t seem to tolerate well are blatant stupidity and ignorance (unless in the form of silly, terrible jokes – then it’s more than allowed!). The wizard does have the potential to be loud and listen to music with the volume way out of control, and has the tendency to be deliberately annoying... usually just as a means to mess with his target.

Overall, Mr. Zabat is a good and loyal friend... though has a tendency to walk a bit on the wild side whenever he gets the chance!


The Conquistadors:
Boris was the one responsible for recruiting Baltasar. However, being close to Dolf as he was, it seemed only natural to include him and make the pair a duo, just like Boris and Nicolas. Balt’s willingness to take on any task or dare worked well with the purpose behind The Conquistadors.

The relationship between Boris and Baltasar is cordial enough, though they hadn’t always been: in their earlier years at Durmstrang, they’d been bitter rivals for both were very similar to the other. It wasn’t until they were surrounded by a group of Darien Vaight’s cohorts and both worked together to get out of the situation – a situation which involved many a hex, curse, and a few good punches – did they form an actual friendship. They occasionally clash to this day, though it’s usually only in play.

Where Dolf is quiet and reserved, Baltasar is boisterous and for the most part tells it like it is unless there’s good reason to be diplomatic or to lie about it. His inclusion isn’t at all unexpected, despite the occasional going toe-to-toe with Boris both in play and for real. Thank Merlin the occasions when it is real clashing are few and far between of late! His contributions include tossing in new, random and sometimes insane (or violent) ideas. The wizard would do anything for any of them, bar none. He feels it’s a group he truly belongs in, and greatly appreciates the havoc they wreak upon their fellow students and the school in general.

Balt gladly speaks for Dolf when one or two words don’t cover an idea sufficiently, since they seem to be on the same wavelength. Thus he is rather close to Dolf out of all of the Conquistadors despite likely being a bit too chaotic and wild for the other’s general preferences.

However, there is one dark secret regarding Balt... and that is an underlying tension steadily growing between him and Stefan Drakul. This is because both have their eyes on the same girl: Dominique Delacroix.

The Fixed Future

Occupation: Hitwizard for Hire, with best friend Dolf Kaiser; They often make “hits” on behalf of the Mafia, employed by mutual friends and mafia kingpins Marco and Maria Manici

Romance: First there was Xenia Raptis. Greek woman, charming, everything his parents would’ve desired in a future daughter-in-law. The only problem they had was that their son’s wedding was pretty much a modern day “shotgun wedding”... for the woman was pregnant at the time of marriage, the child a healthy baby girl they named Zoe. The marriage lasted 3 years...

... because the next woman up was Veronica Zorbas. As it so happened, Baltasar was wooing this lovely lady not long after his marriage to Xenia – albeit in secret. It was a week after Zoe’s birth that Xenia discovered the affair. The only reason she stayed with Balt was because he promised to call it off. But he never did. The proof? Little Lysander, of course! Veronica was already a mother of one, as well as presently married. Needless to say, when Lysander’s birth rolled around, both Xenia and Matthias Zorbas, Veronica’s husband of the time, got respective divorces. Xenia gained custody of her child, and Veronica custody of her children. Baltasar did not express right to have visitation with Zoe.

Then Baltasar and Veronica married... mostly to give the kids a daddy figure. This marriage lasted two years. They split up on less than amicable terms, of which Matthias, Xenia, and two “new” women named Dominique and Pandora were involved, with Veronica gaining custody of both children from her latest husband. Balt has supervised visitation on Wednesday afternoons and certain hours on weekends.

Reconnected with and nearly married Dominique Delacroix, and old on-and-off fling of his from Durmstrang. But due to his less than monogamous nature and due to his involvement as a hitwizard for the mafia – but moreso the former – they called it off.

Balt married Pandora Vardalos in 2038, five years after their child Alecto was born. Pandora has many suspicions regarding possible infidelity from him... and she couldn’t be more right. Not only is he seeing his first two former ex-wives (Veronica having forgiven him), but also a woman of the evening known only as “Topaz”. To put it quite frankly in Balt’s mindset: monogamy is for the birds.

Appearance:
Tall, dark and handsome, he is the pensieve broding type and acts accordingly. He stands a good 5' 11" from the ground, brown eyes and has black hair. He has quite a few tattoos on his arm and hasn't entirely given up on the idea of getting some more.

Description:
Rudolf, or Dolf as he prefers, is known as the quiet one. He usually communicates with nods and shakes of heads, and if he does talk, it is usually one word. But don't let that decieve you, as a man of few words, he can get pretty much anything he wants with just one stare. Do not make the mistake of thinking his quietness is a handycap, he is very intellegent and very observant. You know what they say, it's the quiet ones you have to watch out for and that's exactly what you have to do with Dolf Kaiser. He is very precise and very intense. He knows exactly what he likes and what he doesn't. He has a bit of a sadistic streak on him and he isn't afraid of getting his hands dirty. He rarely smiles and when he does... it usually spells trouble for someone. He doesn't usually tolerate stupidity, ignorance and anything too loud and annoying but he's willing to bend if he likes you. He is terribly loyal, and if you have his loyalty, you know you'll have a friend for life.

The Conquistadors:
He was Nicolas' recruitment. His less than forthcoming attitude led him to a life of a loner, thus when he became friends with Nicolas Casillas, he immediately backed him up during a spat with Darien Vaight - and Nick's never forgotten. Therefore, when Nicolas and Boris created the group, Dolf was an automatic member.

He is an unexpected addition into the Conquistadors, because he is quiet and sometimes reserved. However, he contributes a new perspective and he would do anything for any of them. Bring in the group, it was the first time Dolf felt he really belonged and they also taught him to let loose and have fun once in awhile.

He is particularly close to Baltasar Zabat, who's lively and chaotic attitude should have made them enemies but as they say, opposites attract. They seem to speak the same language, and Dolf often lets Baltasar talk for him.

History:
The Kaisers are a Pureblooded family that can be traced into five generations. And like all families with such status, they prized blood and purity above all else. Angsar Kaiser, Dolf's Grandfather, went even as far as to become a Voldemort supporter, something, his family was proud of. Everyone in his family of course, but his own son, Erik. Erik went against the killing, the Dark Magic, the madness that is known as Voldemort and caused a trift between father and son.

That was when Dolf was born. Growing up, Dolf felt like an outcast with his immediate family. He didn't seem to fit. They were very affectionate and warm while he prefered to be left alone in his room and he rarely showed any affection. Things worsened when his brother Edvard was born. Edvard was the perfect son for Erik and Evelyn, he was happy, lively - everything Dolf was not. He never said a word about it though, he would merely watch, his eyes blazing with jealousy everytime his parents praised Edvard, while say nothing about Dolf.

Ergo, Dolf became very close to his Grandfather, Ansger Kaiser who seemed to share the same views as the young teen.

Appearance:
Dark curly hair, dark eyes and a good 5' 5", she is one of the boys. She hardly ever wears skirts and scoffs at dresses, especially if they are pink.

Description:
She is a self-proclaimed tom-boy, and hates anything that fits in to the cookie-cutter version of the word girl, but she is quite a feminist. If anyone says anything sexist, she jumps on them immediately, even if they are one of her boys. However, she too is rather sexist herself and assumes that all girls only want to talk about boys, gossip and make-up. Thus she perfers to hang out with boys. She enjoys the thrill of doing something dangerous, and has a thirst to prove that she is not just a girl in the sterotypical sense but a force to be reckon with... and what a force she is. She could out hex any opponent, male or female alike.

The Conquistadors:
She sort of invited herself into the crew, rather than the other way around. When Marco, her twin brother was allied with the group, she got herself into it as well.

Not that the others minded... of course there were critics, pretty strong ones too, but almost immediately she proved herself to be one of them.

She says she doesn't like the attention she is getting from hanging out with them, but secretly she enjoys it. She thrives in being the only girl in the team and gets overly protective when one of the boys have a love interest.

Oh, she isn't dating any of them, she'd just like to add that.

Appearance:
Pale, tall and lanky, he stands a tall 6'2". He has dark hair, contrasting violently with is pasty pale skin.

Description:
Stefan Inge Drakul is part vampire, giving him some rather interesting perks and disadvantages. First the perks, he has enhanced senses, making him react twice as fast as a normal human, Muggle or Wizard alike. This gives him quite an advantage on the Quidditch Pitch, nimble and quick, he is a highly skilled Seeker. The drawbacks to his parentage however, are, he is a haemophiliac - meaning even a small injury could be a fatal one, he is slightly obsessive compulsive, everything needs to be in neat order else he gets slightly freaked out and of course, his wonderful relationship with the sun. He doesn't combust or worst yet, sparkle but he does get awful sun burns that he remains in the sun for too long it could possibly be fatal. Despite his draw-backs, he enjoys getting into trouble.

He is very into academics and his obsessive compulsiveness makes him a perfectionist.

He works at the mechanic of the team. He gets and fixes the little details so that the Conquistadors could be sucessful in their conquests.
