Professor Viper's Personal Chambers (Located Nearby Slytherin Common Rooms)

Sevastyan leaned into and deepened the kiss slightly, the hand at her cheek trailing down her face and along the contours of her jaw before coming to rest at the side of her neck. As he broke away from the kiss the storm-gray eyes glimmered back at Amaranth with love, flirtatiousness, and a dash of mischief. "It is a surprise..." he replied softly, sweetly, before catching her lips in another kiss.

"But you vill not be disappointed... of that I am most certain," Sevastyan added with a smirky smile.

Viper smiled, responding to the kiss, with a raised eyebrow at the smirky smile. She had the distinct feeling she was missing something but opted not to press things. Instead, she smiled a brighter smile, rising from the bed, with her hand entwined with Sevastyan.

"Shall we?" she asked with a slight quirk of the eyebrow, eager to head out.

As Viper rose Sevastyan followed, his fingers entwining with hers. His smile had turned into a grin. "Ve shall," he replied upon sensing the eagerness in her voice. With the help of a few whispered spells he was dressed and ready in moments.

"Venever you're ready," Sevastyan added after summoning his required personal effects. As though the house-elf that watched over his quarters seemed to notice he had decided to reside elsewhere for the evening and sensed his 'master' was headed out, it had conjured a leather coin pouch to appear and follow the trail of personal effects headed toward the wizard.

As soon as she heard the whispered spells from Sevastyan's mouth, Viper did the same so she was just about ready as he was, her smiles matching his.

She mock-gaped at the demonstration of his helpful house-elf, exclaiming in a tone of playful jealousy. "Oh that is so unfair! You get the nice house-elf who actually helps you and is nice and I get the naggy, nosey one who lectures me on...well...things one would rather not hear from a house-elf, or any being for that matter." she stated in amusement, before leading him out of her room so they could be on their way.

"Vell, since ve share each others qvarters, I'm sure he vould be glad to assist you as vell," Sevastyan replied with a light chuckle at her amusement as he was led by the hand to... wherever she preferred to go to acquire the tattoo and piercing she wanted.

"Or vould Nissy be jealous?" he asked playfully just as the opening to her chambers closed behind him.

Eglantine's wheelchair hummed faintly as she approached Professor Viper's chamber door. She closed her eyes briefly, preparing herself for what she was about to do. It was extremely difficult for her to even think about asking the younger woman for help. But it was either Viper or Kiara...and the latter was not really an option. Kiara, as much as she attempted to understand and help, could never do what Eglantine needed to do.

She liked to think that Viper understood the dark side of things better than most others, mainly because of her own dark history and rather dark family history. Not that Eglantine judged her by her family... mainly just by her own actions and words.

Raising her hand, which was still due to the potion, she tapped the door loudly enough for anyone inside to hear her.

Shortly after her last class had ended and Sevastyan was still in midst of his, Viper had opted to head back over to her chambers to simply relax and read through the newest edition of her Potion's Magazine. She had just gotten into a comfortable position, reclining on the leather couch of her living room when she heard a knock on the door.

"Enter," she called out, still maintaining her comfortable position on the couch, reading an article.

Eglantine gently pushed the door open as wide as it would go, so that her wheelchair could easily slip through.
"Good day, Professor." she murmured.

At the familiar voice, Viper broke her gaze from her magazine, rising slightly from her position so she was curled up on the couch in a semi-sitting position. "Professor Delanquar?" she raised an eyebrow at the Professor's presence. "Is everything alright?"

Eglantine shook her head. "No. I need your help. I know I have no right to ask for it, but I need it." she folded her hands in her lap.
"Would you be wiling to help me kill my father?"

As Eglantine informed her that she needed Viper's assistance, the witch wondered if something had happened to Kiara, or Horatio, or hell, the rest of the world in general. After all, Hell had to have frozen over before Eglantine Delanquar would come to her -willingly- for help!

..... And apparently it had. Viper raised an eyebrow, tilting her head slightly to the left in mild confusion and a 'what the hell' look on her. "I beg your pardon?" she asked, although she knew she heard correctly.

"Of course, the moment I express a desire to help others it is the illegal assistance that is asked of me," Viper muttered as she rose from her seat. She pondered for a very brief amount of seconds before shrugging.

"Very well. Would you like me to hold him down while you hex the old age out of him?" the witch asked with a quirk of an eyebrow, although this time it was raised in amusement with a small smile/smirk on her face.

Eglantine sighed. She should have known she would get sarcasm. "Not at all. I merely need you to procure an item for me. You are a potions mistress after all...I figured that it would be easier for you to retrieve this item than it would be for me." She sighed, wishing suddenly that she had decided to use the muggle pistol or even her dagger...

Viper nodded in comprehension. "That would depend on the ingredient. The Minsitry still watches every ingredient I purchase so there's no guarantee I would have it or be able to obtain it."

Legally, Viper added mentally. Despite the restrictions, Viper still went her own way and got what she saw fit with the help of certain sources, but she didn't think Eglantine needed to know that.

"What do you need?"

"I need asp blood." she murmured. "There is a potion, Neci Rosier. I have the other ingredients except the asp blood. My father is fairly immune to most poisons...except this one."

Slowly and silently, Viper nodded, suspician illuminating her eyes. "Lovely. You desire an ingredient that should you be careless enough to be caught, all signs would point to me." she frowned, folding her arms across her chest.

She could imagine it all now: a "mistake' in the process, the Minsitry arriving finding traces of the venom, forming conclusions, and having a perfect suspect who they would form into the culprit.

"Why is it me you approach, Professor Delanquar? Surely Professor McKevin has his own ingredient collection, or perhaps Kiara would have other means to retrieve some for you. Or is this truly your way to kill two birds with one stone?" Viper challenged, summoning her goblet.

Eglantine closed her eyes and then opened them. "There will be no body, the potion consumed flesh..." she stated simply.

"And as for why I came to you... very simply Kiara has already done too much. And Horatio
refuses to assist me in anything "dark"." her green eyes darkened slightly. "Of course I could always ask Sevastyan to procure the blood." It was no secret how close Viper was to a certain DADA professor.

"Kiara has already done too much? What, was there a quota all of the staff must meet on the amount of times we helped you?" Viper scoffed in disbelief.

Viper stiffened the moment Sevastyan's name was mentioned, desperately fighting the urge to hex the woman out of this universe. "And I'll ask you to leave my relationship with Sevastyan out of this! By suggesting such a thing you insult us both, degrading us! Say what you wish about me but don't you dare bring Sevastyan into this! Circe knows I don't insult or even say a word regarding your relationship with the human fossil!" she hissed. "Not that anyone would, unless they wanted to be traumatized..."

"You make it seem as though I've never helped you before... Tell me, who was it that helped you with Edwin, made it so you could keep him without the Ministry poking and prodding?" Green eyes began to fade into grey as she waited for the older woman's response. "I have done more than my share to help you!"

Eglantine chuckled. "Ever the drama queen." she stated, a mischievous gleam coming to her eyes. "I don't remember saying anything about your "relationship" with him..." there was s note of pure amusement in her soft voice.

"And yes, you have assisted me far more than I could ever repay. Which is why I would of course be willing to give some compensation for the asp blood. You do miss Dracovan don't you?" the humour and gleam had faded quickly from her eyes and her last statement held only guilt.

"Ah, so instead of being in a respectable relationship, you insinuate I'm enough of a floozy to be open to persuasions from any man." she replied with disdain, the amusement evident in the older woman's tone not helping in any way.

Amazingly enough, Viper's still managed to stiffen her posture even further at the mention of her sibling. She closed her eyes, pressing her lips together for a moment to control her emotions, for once. "Helping you take the life of someone from your family would not be something I would view as compensation..." she replied in a strained voice.

Eglantine ignored the first statement, her amusement already having died. "I am not referring to that as compensation. I can bring Dracovan back..." She pulled Excessum from her pocket and gently held the ash wand in her hands.

Viper couldn't help but feel a glimmer of curiousity at the witch's words. "Why would you do that? He tried to kill your son and you would revive him?" she asked in a flat tone, suspicion still lingering.

"Because I can no longer stand to sleep." Eglantine confessed. "And I should never have taken his life in the first place."

Viper nodded in agreement. "No, you shouldn't have."

She took a deep breath for a moment, contemplating.

Eglantine said nothing as Viper's words cut her deeply. Despite the arguments and everything else that had torn the two witches' "friendship" apart, she did care about the younger woman.

Slowly, Viper nodded. "Alright," she whispered softly.

With a wave of her hand, she conjured a small, silver bottle.
