Working is bad for your health xD (April 24 2032 fixed..)

Ana almost laughed. Reggie...That would have been-What was she thinking?! It WILL be amusing.

Aiden was NOT going to die.

She just had to keep telling him that.

"You will...One day you will and we can laugh about it for years afterwards...you'll see." She kept her voice level...with increasing difficulty.

...Whoever did this was DEAD. A painful slow death which would make them wish they were in the seventh circle of hell...

The potion the Healer had given her dug into her palm and she remembered...If Aiden stopped breathing, he had to drink this...

She focused on listening to his faint breathing...and praying for the Healer to return soon.

The potion forced Aiden's lung and heart to continue working, keeping him alive.. barely.

A minute later the healer returned through the fire place like a bat out of hell.. "Got it..." He said out of breath as if he has ran a marathon.. He had two things in his hand... Beazor and the other a potion to take care of the poison the stone could not cure...

He checked Aidens pulse, "You had to use the potion I take it" he said waving his wand over him and a list if the ten poisons in the cocktail the were present in his system...

"Really it is wonder he lived as long as he did... some of the poisons are known to kill in minutes, it seems he his immune to a few of them" he said amazed as he shoved the stone into Aidens mouth and charmed him to swallow it.

With in seconds over half the poisons vanished from the chart...

Then brought the potion vial up to his mouth feeding the contents to him.. And slowly the poison vanished from his blood...

The healer let out a breath... "Okay now to get him breathing on his own..." he said taking out another small potion.. to cancel the effect of the life support spell..

Aiden stopped breathing again...

Then the healer moved his wand over Aidens heart, with a muttered spell sent a shock into him...

Then Aiden took a breath, and another and another...

The healer took Aidens pulse again, it was weak but getting stronger by the second..

The young Healer sighed in relief and turned his gaze to the mans Wife... "He will be fine and back to normal in a few days.. I recommend strongly that he rest thought.. both of you... if I may say have been through quite a bit..." he said.

Ana could only nod, observing in silence.

Relief rushed through her as Aiden breathed again.

She smiled in gratitude but shook her head. "I'm fine..." Ana slipped her hand back into Aiden's and watched him for any sign that he was regaining consciousness.

The young healer decided not to argue with the woman, and smiled and nodded. He stayed close for a few minutes to make sure Aidens vitals were stable, before backing off to fill out some paper work and allow to couple some time alone.

Aiden remained merely sleeping for a few minutes, however he did squeeze Ana's hand lightly after some time..then as more minutes passed Aiden slowly woke up..

"Ana?" he murmured, before fully blinking is eyes opened to see his wife. And never had he seen a more pretty sight.

"Hey.." he said squeezing her hand a bit more.. not to tight of course.

Ana almost laughed with relief. "Hi there."

She squeezed his hand back. For a few seconds there, she'd thought she was going to lose him...

Aiden sighed and smiled, it was a tired smiled but he was beyond relieved to be alive at that moment.

He brought her hand up to his mouth and kissed it.. "Love you" he said..

Then the healer returned.. "Sorry to interrupt, just came to tell you the basics.. again Call if anything changes for the worse.. and do take it easy or a day or two Mr Avalon... nearly thought we lost you for a bit there" he said with a nod.

Aiden nodded, "Thank you again, you saved my life, I owe you much healer..." he said somehow finding the energy to sit up on the couch and kiss Ana's forehead and his hand strayed to her abdomen. They were his world and he almost left them for good..

"I am not sure I can ever repay you.." he said finally..

The healer shook his head, " All in a days work Mr. Avalon" he said turning to leave.

"May I atleast know your name?" Aiden asked.

"Healer Sorin McKallen, I wish you good luck Mr Avalon" he said and with that he stepped through the floo.

Ana put her own hand on Aiden's and fixed him with a stare. "Next time you win a case, for God's sake don't let the loser get anywhere near you."

...Which reminded her...the amateur murderer was going to suffer her wrath.

Aiden nodded to his wife and a smile formed on his face. "Yes don't worry. Lesson learned" he said with a nod.

The fact his wife was plotting revenge on his attackers didn't cross his mind at that moment. Though he was thinking of suing them for attempt of murder..

"Glad to hear it." Ana smiled.

"And you do realise you are not moving from that couch for two days."

Aiden's eyes widened, "Two days? But I am fine now.. really" he said. if he still felt miserable maybe... but he felt... well not his best, but considering he was deaths door.. he felt fine..

Plus he didn't like the thought of resting, he would rather do other things.

Ana's gaze turned to a glare. "The healer told you to rest. And therefore you are not moving from this sofa."

She glanced down at the floor for a moment. "And it's unlikely you're fine considering the state you were in a minute ago."

Aiden sighed, knowing the look in his wife eyes... she would curse him to stay on the couch if she had to..

He felt exhausted more then anything... but other then that he still felt numb...

He looked at her again.. her gaze on the floor, it tugged at his heart...

"Fine.. I will stay in bed... for you my Dear. But you should take it easy to." he said not wanting her tiering her self needlessly...

Ana shook her head. "I wasn't the one who was poisoned."

Besides, she had things to do...revenge being one of them.

Aiden sighed, " I know... but.." he wasn't going to argue with her, but he knew it was pointless. But he couldn't help but worry about her anyway...

"Please don't over do it then... please?" he pleaded..

Ana smiled. "I won't. And you'd better not either."
