September 30 2037 (fixed timeline)

Amy looked at the clock as she sat at the couch waiting for her husband to return home from work... he should have been home hours ago... she didn't recieve a note or anything. She figured he was at work late but just in case something was wrong she wanted to get the news. She had put Noah to bed had a glass of wine and waited... and waited and waited...

Hours went by... until it was past midnight and Amy.. who had a tiring day herself started to drift to sleep..

Before she new she was curled up on the couch fast as sleep...

An exhausted Nicolas walked into his living room. This case was one of the toughest he'd ever encountered.

Barely awake and yawning, he almost didn't notice someone on the couch. "Amy? That you?"

Amy blinked and sat up form the couch when she heard Nick. "Nick?.." She yawned and looked at the clock.

1: 30 am

"Where have been? I was worried when I didn't hear a word form you" she said as she rose form the couch and walked over to her husband.

"I thought I sent a note to say I was going to be late..." Nicolas said sheepishly.

Any sighed, "Well... Obviously I didn't get one.." she with a yawn.

"I worried was there for a minute, Noah asked for you when I put him to bed, apparently you owe him a Chocolate frog for missing bed time" she with amusement and relief to have her husband home.

She then linked her arm over his shoulders pulled him in to kiss...

Then she smelt something different on her husband then usual.....
It was very odd ... almost like perfume ..

"Right." Nicolas said, his eyes drooping. "Chocolate frog, no problem."

He kissed her lightly. "Let's go to bed?"

Amy nodded still having a funny look on her face.

"Sure.. alright Amor... " she said wrapping her arm around him.

"What is that smell?" she asked curious, as she walked.

"What smell?" Nicolas asked not really curious.
