Appearance: Sveta is a woman of average height and slender build, with long arms and legs. Long brown hair cascades in soft waves from head to mid-back, though sometimes it is kept to shoulder length. Her complexion is lightly tanned to pale, though more commonly the latter. She wears just enough make-up to say she’s wearing some, often in dark blue or black for her eyes, and a decent reddish color upon her lips. In terms of clothing she prefers garments that are comfortable and functional. In terms of other distinguishing features, she has pierced earlobes and is not often seen without a pair of earrings in. Brown eyes brightened by a smile make her face even more beautiful, though it is much shorter and slightly fuller than the gauntness of her male relatives.

In the future, Svetlana will be acquiring an angel wings tattoo from shoulders to hips which slightly curls around her sides, the Viper Clan tattoo to symbolize one’s marriage into the clan, and a tattoo of an angel somewhere between lower chest and upper abdomen.

She will also acquire a navel piercing, and a few more around the outer helix of her ear. Due to her profession in the medical field, she would likely keep these piercings hidden from obvious view.

History: Svetlana is the third and last child born to Maksim and Praskovya Kaminski. Her older brothers are Grigoriy and Sevastyan. She was born in Saratov, Russia, just as her brothers were, and thus was bilingual – Russian and German – from her first words. Unlike her brothers, she was born within Kaminski Manor itself, rather than Zolnerovich Medical Clinic, and was actually three days overdue rather than premature. Healers came to the Manor to make sure mother and child were healthy and happy.

Growing up in the Kaminski home was not exactly bad, but there were a lot of things lying about that children would have done best not to go near at all. Maksim learned this rather quickly, and made fortifications to secure all magical paraphernalia of the darker flavors from curious youngsters. Maksim was a very strict father who became a loyal Death Eater within Lord Voldemort’s ranks. Often times he was not present, but because Svetlana was only about 2 when Lord Voldemort fell, she didn’t really notice or remember his absence. Unlike the Sokolov family, Svetlana too was accepted to attend Durmstrang instead of being sent to a different magical school.

As the youngest child of the family it seemed expected of Svetlana to follow the examples of her brothers, though they tended to not get along well at all, and was the most spoiled. Grigoriy was the son that could do no wrong no matter how blatant, whereas Sevastyan was dubbed the family “Black Sheep”. It wasn’t until later that she was told of a cousin, Nikolai, who had died due to her brothers’ disputes. She absolutely loathed the fact the brothers fought so, and the fact that nothing her eldest brother did seemed to satisfy their father. However, it also annoyed her that Sevastyan was indescribably over-protective of her.

One of Sveta’s earliest, and most frightening memories involved when she first started taking an interest in potions. The exact composition of her potion is largely unknown, but it had a lot of valerian root added to it, which looked like pretty grass, and some “pretty flowers”. Not long after asking Sevastyan to try it, and one of his cousins daring him to do it, did his throat close up and his skin break out in a terrible rash, as well as other complications from what her mother told her. But what all her brother suffered, Sveta didn’t fully retain. Feeling terribly guilty for having more or less poisoned her brother by activating an allergy, she never did ask. Needless to say, from that day forward she tends to ask people about any allergies before offering them anything.

After completing her education at Durmstrang, and being one of the few female students of the school, Sveta decided to go into the profession of Healing. At present she is a Healer in Training taking some supplemental classes in Germany. She holds the title particularly at Zolnerovich Medical Clinic for Magical Accidents and Afflictions, though when the need arises she does visit other magical hospitals to lend a hand when asked by her supervisors.

Personality: Sveta might look and play the part of naïve, sheltered aristocrat... and part of that may in fact be true... but there is a side to her that isn’t quite at all what she appears. Overall however she is very kind and has a strong urge to protect people. Vocationally, that urge has manifested in keeping people healthy. She tends to get nervous fairly easily about things of a non-medical nature that she’s unsure about, turning to friends and/or family for advice. At the same time she is independent, and not at all happy when her over-protective eldest brother attempted to “scare away” potential boyfriends in her earlier teen years.

She is very tolerant of other people but at the same time has a quirky sense of humor: certain sources that demonstrate a joke may be received negatively, while others are met with laughter. However, she is also rather trusting – sometimes far too trusting for her own good. Those that are her friends will find that Svetlana has a tendency to be honest to a fault, and is an incredibly loyal friend. What she can’t or doesn’t feel comfortable giving in wealth, she gives of her heart. Sometimes that even includes sacrificing her own needs and wants for the sake of others, even until the point it affects her own health.

Her tolerance for pain is nothing to remark upon, and despite a strong dislike for unnecessary cruelty in the event she is angry enough she could very well be cruel. Her temper is not one to be considered lightly, though it takes a while or just the right words to rub her the wrong way. Sometimes she gets even rather than allows her anger to control her, but other times it’s the other way around.

When something is severely bothering her, Svetlana finds it nearly impossible to concentrate on anything. This often manifests by her freezing up when the slightest kink arrives in the flow of her day – even if it is a trivial one.

While Svetlana is active in the medical field, she personally prefers herbal and natural remedies – along with aromatherapy – before potions, and potions before conventional muggle medicine. Though, she has a fair understanding and interest in all of these treatment types.

Her hobbies include being involved in various artsy projects, listening and playing music, some gardening, cooking, solving puzzles, and, of course, Quidditch. Since she was a little girl she’s always had a thing for angels, and thus has a collection of figurines, paintings, and the like with an angel motif.
