Vaight Cottage ~September 15, 2033~ (Fixed Timeline)

"I am not! I'm making sure my boy is protected from Nick and Aurora's various brands of evil!" Darien declared dramatically. ((lol alliteration))

"Uh uh." Diana said condensingly. "So, I think someone was making me breakfast before all of this started?"

She looked at Darius expectantly.

Darien beamed. "Yay! My little boy's making breakfast!" He hugged him, swinging him around. "I'm so proud!"

"It's just cereal Dad..." Darius said having trouble breathing.

"Darien, Darien, I think you're choking the boy..." Diana said putting her hand on Darien's shoulder.

Darien released his son. "It's still breakfast! You're growing up! And soon you can go to hogwarts and astound the world with your awesome magic and ravishing good looks...Which you get from your mother." He grinned.

"That's right..." Diana said slowly. "You're going to go to Hogwarts soon... and leave us..." She held a far away look.

Darien hugged his son again. "No! I've changed my mind! You're never going to Hogwarts! You shall always be seven! And you will hold my hand while crossing the road!"

Diana embraced her son and husband. "I don't want you to leave."

"I don't want to go to Hogwarts!" Darius said. "I want to stay here."

"Henceforth, you are permenantly too young to leave." Darien declared.

Darius nodded in full agreement. He didn't want to go to Hogwarts. The sorting hat scared him. And the giant squid.

Diana kissed Darien on the cheek and turned. "Let's go have some breakfast now."

Darien beamed with pride. "It shall be delicious won't it, my special boy?"

"Uh uh." Darius said running towards the kitchen. "It shall!"

"Darien wait," Diana holding Darien back for a moment. "Thanks for not starting to fight with Nick."

Darien smiled. "I know. I had to check if the world had ended..."

Diana kissed him. "I love you."

"I love you too." Darien grinned, kissing her back.

"Mum! Dad!" Darius said running back to them. "What's taking you so long? The cereal is getting cold."

Diana laughed as she broke away from the kiss. "Alright, let's go to the kitchen then."

Darien grinned. "To the kitchen!...Ladies first."

Diana grinned impishly. "After you then."

Darien shook his head. "I'm the alpha male." He grinned. "And you are the alpha female."

"Fine fine." Diana headed to the kitchen. "Have it your way then."

Darien grinned and followed her.

"So...cereal!" He beamed at his little boy.

Darius nodded eagerly and placed three bowls filled with cereal and milk on the table. "Cereal!"

Darien began devouring the cereal.

"Magnificent!" He declared...between giant mouthfulls.

Diana blatantly ignored Darien's wolfish behaviour and turned to her own cereal. "Yes Dear, it's great!"

On the other hand, Darius laughed and imitated his father.

Diana looked at Darien scoldingly.

Darien noticed the look and blinked, glancing over a shoulder, then down at his cereal, and finally back at Diana confusedly.
