Vaight Cottage ~December 12, 2032~ Fixed Future

Amy felt like hitting her self.... she should have suspected it ages ago.. but she had been working hard at the ministry and the thought never crossed her mind.

The urge to hit her self over came her and she did so.

"Oh stupid stuoid...stupid..." she breathed.

"I have been so busy lately the thought of a baby totally escaped me" she said, though her busy schedule the sudden dizzy spells made sense now.

Diana laughed. "Don't worry it's completely understandable. Though I think you should go to, as Nick put it, an 'Actual' Healer who specializes on this sort of thing. One of these days just to make sure everything is going wonderfully. I wouldn't tell Nick until then. In fact, since Christmas is just around the corner, I'd wait until then."

Amy smiled, though the thought of going to a actual healer didn't sound as appealing she didn't feel as bad about it now of it was her baby's health at risk as well.

"Thank you Gryffie" she said in a much better mood then when walked in.

"Umm is there anything you can do now to see if the baby is in good health?.... I admit I have been working very long hours at the ministry... at first I thought it was because if stress.... work you know... I have over done it the last few days..." she said hoping she hadn't harmed the baby in anyway with over time hours.

"Did it already." Diana smiled. "The bluish sting of light meant he or she was healthy. Just don't overwork yourself from now on. Also, don't strave yourself, or deprieve yourself from sleep. Well you know the drill." Diana said refering to the fact that this wasn't Amy's first baby.

Amy nodded "Yes yes... thank you Diana, I will get something to eat when I get back home.... well something light we will how it goes.. jees I never got this sick to my stomach when I was pregnant with Aurora..." she with a sigh. Morning sickness sucked.

"I will see you later Diana, and thanks again" she said as she went to look for her daughter.

"Aurora honey, we should be going!" she called.

Turning back to Diana she said "Nick is probably anxious to find out if I will live or not, he might call you and ask if I am actually alright" she said with an amused smile.

"Yeah, I'll be expecting his call." Diana smiled.

Aurora came bustling down. Looking rather guilty. "I didn't break it on purpose!" She cried out, close to tears.

"Break what, Dear?" Diana said in a comforting tone.

It took Aurora several tries to cough out. "Broomstick."

"Oh dear..." Diana said. "You mean Darius' model broom don't you?"

Guilty, Aurora nodded slowly.

Diana sucked in air.

"I didn't do it on purpose!" She looked at her mother. "Honest!"

Amy wrapper her arms around her daughter.

" Shh.. princess it is alright" she said planting a kiss on her forehead.

"It is okay honey, don't worry okay? your not in trouble" she said hugging her little girl.

" Show us see the broom,sweety I am sure we can fix it, just apologize to Darius ok honey" Amy said ready to patch up what ever damage had been caused. Hoping she could fix it.

She cast an apologetic look to Diana, and mouthed "sorry"

When her mother wrapped her arms around her Aurora hugged her tightly. "Well... I sort of... made it exploded."

"Oh dear," Diana sighed. "Where's Darius?"

"Upstairs..."

Diana nodded and headed up stairs. "Darius?" Diana called. "Darius, hon, where are you?"

She faintly heard sobbing through Darius' bedroom door. "Aww... Darius."

Darius was crying silently on his bed. Diana neared him and scooped him up, with a bit of difficulty. He was getting so big. Feeling rather helpless, he let his mother carry him.

"My baby," Diana cooed. "Do you want to tell me what happened?"

"She made my broomstick explode." He cried in his mothers arms.

"I'm sure it was accident, Baby." Diana patted his back.

"It wasn't!" Darius assured her. "She did it on purpose!"

Sensing that his mother might not believe him, he repeated it. "She did it on purpose!"

Amy sighed really, there was no way either she or Diana could take one childs story over the other. Children were children afterall and they had not seen what happened.

"Aurora sweetie, I want you to go and apologize to Darius alright? That broomstick obviously meant a lot to Darius." she said.

"But I didn't do anything!" Aurora protested. She didn't like admitting she was wrong much. She didn't like saying sorry.

Diana went down to Amy and Aurora, carrying a reasonably calm Darius in her arms.

Amy sighed, "young lady you are as stubborn as your father, now it won't hurt you to just say sorry and get it over with... come on now" she said nudging her daughter. By her own admission she broke the broom, it was only polite to apologize.

Whispering in Aurora's ear she said, " Princess I know you didn't mean to do it, but its only polite to say your sorry, weather you meant to do something or not" she explained.

Darius pouted, holding onto his mother.

As long as his mother was here, Aurora couldn't hurt him...or his possessions.

He sniffled and wiped his right eye on his sleeve.

"I'm... I'm..." Aurora tried. But failed. She couldn't.

Darius sniffed again, glancing at his mother.

She hadn't apologised!

His mother would make her, he assured himself.

Amy sighed and held on to her daughter, "Come on you, I know here is an Apology in there somewhere, it won't hurt I promise..." she assured her.

Diana kissed Darius on the forehead. "She'll do it, hun, she's sorry."

"Aurora dear, your sorry, aren't you?" Diana asked.

Aurora blinked and nodded.

"Why don't you tell Darius you are?"

"Darius... I'm... I'm..." Aurora muttered.

"Sorry."

Darius felt inward glee. She'd actually apologised.

A smirk almost slipped onto his face, but he disguised it behind his sleeve.

He pretended to consider the apology, and nodded.

"'S'Okay..."

He held out two small scraps of the broom. "Mummy..." Little Darius' eyes teared up as he silently asked his mother to mend his toy.

Aurora sobbed at her mother's shoulder.

"Hun," Diana said. "I... I don't know if I can..."

She hugged him. "Maybe let's just ask Dad to give you another one."

Amy once again hugged Aurora after she apologized, "Thats my girl, wasn't so bad was it" she said as she kissed her on her forehead.

Amy bit her lip at the broken shards of Darius's broom, for the look of it a but beyond a simple reparo spell.

"Diana, it wouldn't be a problem for me to replace it, if that helps. What model was it?" she asked.

"Oh it's no problem honestly." Diana said looking at Amy. "I'll just have to talk to his Dad, don't I Darius?"

Darius pouted. "Dad's working."

This sparked an idea.

"Mum! Mum! Can we go visit the shop? Can we? Can we pleeeeease?" He pleaded.

"It was bad," Aurora muttered.

Diana would have said no, however, Darius was pretty upset. "Hmm... alright."

"Yay!" Darius beamed.

He paused. "Amy and Aurora could come to...Couldn't they?"

Amy stopped her self from chuckling at her daughters response, and jokingly she checked her plus. " I think you survived Princess" she said.

She smiled at Diana, "Well Diana I think me and Aurora will let you and Darius Visit, Dars shop. Tell him I will stop by and chat with him some time hmm? and thank for everything today. We should head back home now though, Nick is probably going crazy wondering how the check up went." she said with a wink.

Then she turned to Darius, "I wish you the best of luck in your quest you get a new broom Darius, and I am sorry for what happened to your old one" she said as even she had to admit Aurora's apology seemed far from sincere.

Darius smiled. "'S'Okay. I'm on a quest!"

He beamed and began to wonder whether it would be cool to take his wooden sword to the shop with him...

There was a pop and a knight's helmet spontaneously appeared on his head. Darius grinned.

He liked magic. A lot.
