Nicolas' Bedroom ~ September 27, 2024 ~

Nicolas walked slowly up to his bedroom, a glass of fire-whiskey in his hand, on the other, he held a small dark purple vial.

He closed the door methodically. Changed to his sleep ware. And crawled into bed. He uncorked the potion and downed in it one go.

Within minutes, he was fast asleep.

Amy watched sadly as Nick entered a deep deep sleep, she would only her for one reason, so save her loves life. Force him to continue living with out her... this whole suicidal thing didn't suit him.

Floating over to his bed she held her hand over his head, closed her eyes and vanish.

In Nick's crazy head

"Amor... what are you doing?...." Amy voiced.

In Nicolas' head...

Amy? Amy? Is that you?

Amy stood looking no different then the day she died, waring the same dress, her hair and make up were untouched, however her eyes held sadness.

"Yes Nick it is me.... well more less, for the moment anyway.... I have come to save your life" she said stepping forward.

Amy shook her head, a tear trailing down her cheek.

"Nick.... Amor, eventually we will be together, and I a wait that day. But it is not tonight you still have a life to live My love, don't throw it away. Life I found is short, death.. is forever. We will have forever together Nick I promise, but not now, not this way" she said reaching out taking his hand and keeping him alive.

Amy sighed, "Nick.... please it doesn't work like that. It isn't your time yet and I love you to muck to see you squander it. I don't want you to die Nick, no more then you wanted me to. I love you, which is why I can;t let you do this"

Nicolas felt wetness on his cheeks. A phantom thought told him he was crying.

Amy... I love you. I don't want to live without you.

Amy tightened her grip on him, Tears could be seen on her cheeks as well.

"Nick give your self time... I have only been gone, what a week? Of course your hurting and it feels unbearable, I know... but trust me please it will get better I promise you... give your self a chance Nick"

Amy... I miss you so much.

And with that he kissed her.

Amy kissed him back and hugged him, " I know Amor... I know....I would be disturbed if you did not. But will see me again, I promise.... just not yet Amor. When your time comes I will happily await you at the gate. But until then live your life.... Amor. Plus I will never forgive you if you don't"

Amy sighed, and caressed his cheek before hugging him again and rubbing his back, " Shh... I know Amor I know... but it has never been fair has it?... I died, perfectly healthy and not a scratch on me. Think of Diana, she is worried about you, you know. How do you think she will take your death, a death by your own hand. Nick Please your stronger then this I know you are. Don't make me beg you.." she said.

To anyone who knew her and her brother the Avalon twins bowed to no one, she what she was doing was out of desperation for the man she loved in life and in death.

Nicolas closed his eyes as he felt Amy's touch. He'd missed her so much. He felt this overwhelming sense of emptiness...

But as she practically begged him, Nicolas finally decided to listen.

Even if I wanted to stop it, it's too late, I've already drunken the poison.

Amy kissed him and then looked into his eyes, "That is where I come in... I told you Nick I am here to save you.. I came back as a ghost Nick to watch over you and make sure you didn't do something like this. Now that you have, I have the power to save you.... and then be at rest. As we speak the magic enabling me to talk to you like this is keeping you alive. All you have to do it let it and it will clean you of the poison.." she explained holding his hand and rubbing it with her thumb.

"I love you Amor, trust me... if you die now you will regret it later.. there are still people who need you" she said.

Nicolas nodded as a sign of surrender. He held her hand.

So is this the last time I get to hold you?

Amy looked down, "In a way... Until it is your time. But I will always Love you...Amor, never stop believing that."

With that said Amy stood on her tip toes and Kissed him passionately.

Nicolas immediately wrapped his hands around her and deepened the kiss, he put everything he was feeling in the kiss, all the pain, all the misery, all the love...

As Amy kissed him a tear rolled down her face, how she wished they could be together.. right now and for ever... but it can't happen at moment. There was still so much for Nick to do.. he was needed more him the land of the living then by her at that moment.

Her tear dripped to the floor and the dark dream world started to crack, and Amy began to glow.

Amy held on to him as tight as she could.

Just as Amy held on to him, he tightened his embrace of her not wanting to lose her yet again... he loved her so.

Amy began to glow and soon became transparent, as the remaining bit of magic in her was used to clean the poison from Nick's system.

"Be strong Amor, and do not fear... we will see each other again... I promise you"

She began to fade away even more, but before she did she reached up and kissed him.

Before there own little dream world was engulfed in a bright light.
