The Kitchen...

Small kitchen with everything one needs to cook...

Armando staggered in to the kitchen to find something to eat.

"No it doesn't mean I'm happy! It means I'm confused!" Calista slammed her palm on a counter and there was an ominius crunch.

She hastily removed her hand from the new dent and folded her arms. "Just answer the question!"

The crunch caught Armando's attention and he looked at her.

He neared her. "Do you really want to know?"

"Yes." Calista hit the counter again to emphasise the point.

And because it was fun...

Armando slowly decreased the space between them. He caught her gaze. "Because..."

Calista held his gaze, intrigued.

She took a step forwards, and removed her hand from the counter. "Because....?"

And yet another out-of-body experience happened.

It seemed like, he was simply a bystander, watching his body closed the remaining space between them, lean forward and kiss her.

Calista froze...for a moment.

Shut up!
No way! This is time for the best emotional monologue of your existence!
Oh, go away...

For some reason, she found herself kissing him back.

The annoying emotional voice did a little victory dance, and monologue. And Calista ignored it.

She raised a hand to the back of the Slayer's head, as gently as possible, still unsure as to why she was doing it.

Feeling that Calista kissed him back, Armando deepened the kiss, pushing her against the wall.

Wow... there was a lot of things he shouldn't be doing today.

((LOL))

Calista returned the kiss, ignoring the slightly more rational voice that was pointing out quite how little she knew this man-in fact, slayer, and what the hell was she doing making out with him against a wall in his kitchen?!

Unfortunantly, the rational voice got louder and louder, and when she broke free for air, she pushed the slayer about a metre away.

"Ok...What are we doing? Let's just think about this for a second." She gasped for air.

Armando's brain felt fuzzy. First because well he just lost a considerable amount of blood, second because he'd just stopped his brain from getting some oxygen, and let's not forget the third point which was... oh yes snogging your worst enemy.

He looked at her straight in the eyes and said, "This never happened."

Calista felt the urge to argue, a small part of her was hurt by the comment.

...I hate this guy. Now my monologue was totally undermined.

...Shut up.
No! You shut up! I'm blaming you for this!
...No! It's his fault!
...True...But I never said it was your fault. I said I was blaming you.

"Fine." Her tone was defensive. And her hair fell across her face, hoping to hide the slight hurt in her eyes.

He turn away from her, slightly guilty about being harsh but... what could they do other wise?

Calista turned away.

"Right...anyway, you were...getting food?"

Yes, yes he was. He opened the refrigerator and got a hand full of grapes, opened the counter, took a bowl and started picking them.

"You can watch the Tellie if you want... or read, there are books over there." He pointed in his living room.

"...Okay...I think I'll go with reading. TV makes my vision go weird. The colours are too bland."

Calista headed over to the books, then paused. "They're not all about slaying vampires are they?"
