| Pulling the mixing bowl from the cupboard, Eglantine set to work making the frosting for the cakes. Already cut to shape, the first cake would be a kitten, with licorice whiskers and candy eyes. The frosting was grey and white for it. Kiara's cake, larger than Tatiana's, was a simple layered one, with blue and red frosting to be swirled around it.
White, chocolate and pockets of mocha soon were hidden under frosting, as Eglantine gently applied the sweet confection. | |
