Lachesis Malfoy-Genese's Chambers ((Located on first floor))

Esis' chambers are guarded by a large statue that looks a bit like a pig... enter at your own risk, after all this dear wacky professor is the proud owner of two pigs and a skunk...

A sign hangs from the statue...

"Tap the statue! Do not knock! TAP TAP TAP!!!"

Kiara looked the statue up and down, and arched her eye brow at it. "Interesting..." she said as she brought 2 fingeres up to the statue and tapped.

Though her sences were still on high alert for anyone who might want to do Eglantine harm.

Eglantine sighed at the statue... of course Lachesis had brought the rather ugly stone from her home in Nice.

The tapping split the statue down the middle and a blaring voice screeched.
"STAND BACK!"

Smoke billowed out and Esis appeared, her fracky hair sticking out in all angles.
"Hiya, Kiara!" she exclaimed, standing aside so they could both enter her...rather messy and cluttered rooms.

Kiara waved the smoke away from her face, and steped inside Esis's quarters. "Thank you Esis, Umm we need to talk to you about some thing it is urgent, Edwin is with you right?" she asked.

Esis shook her head. "No, why would he be?" She wrinkled her nose. "I was told Horatio was taking him to the zoo today... Whoa!" It was thanks to running every afternoon and yoga in the morning that allowed Esis to reach as fast as she did to catch a fainting Deputy Headmistress.
"Um...Kiara? Is he missing again?" she asked.

Kiara's fists were clenched, and she took a deep breath, "Esis I wish it was that simple... someone is impossing as Horatio... and he hurt Eglantine out of anger... he hit her. If he has Edwin..." she let her sentence drop.

"We have got to find them Esis, Before it is to late" she said urgently.

Esis blinked and then blinked again before carrying Eglantine over to her couch and pushing her skunk out of the way.
"Okay..." she murmured, looking extremely serious for the first time in a very long time.

"Let's go."

Kiara nodded, but not before writing a small note on a peaice of partchment, and putting it in to Eglantines hand.

It read: "I will find him Eglantine, I promise, Love Kiara"

Then Putting a small kiss on Eglantines forehead, she got up and looked at Esis, nodded and turned up to leave once agian.

"Yes lets go"

Esis hardly waited for Kiara to put the note into Eglantine's hand, before she headed for Horatio's quarters...

A figure entered Esis' rooms, with great ease thanks to there not being a password or ward to protect the inside. Covered in a thick dark cloak, the tall figure approached the couch. Gloved fingers pulled a wand from within a hidden pocket.

A man's deep breath puffed into the air and the wand rose like a cobra poised to strike the sleeping professor dead.

Lips curled to form the deadly words. Air was breathed to pronounce them. Magic crept from his spirit to cast them.

But the victim's eyes opened. The flash of green was met with a shield of glassy grey.

With ease, Eglantine knocked the attackers wand aside, smashing it into dust. Without a word he was bound in chains of fire and his screams silenced by a wad of his own cloak.

Excessum sputtered dark cruel thoughts and words as its mistress stood over her attacker turned victim. She had only to whisper two words to be rid of him forever. To succumb to evil.

Kiara dashed into Esis's quarters in a fright when she saw the door wide opened. The sight that met her eyes shocked her... yet it didn't.

"Eglantine?" she asked as she cautiously approched.

Kill him...

"Eglantine?"

She heard and yet did not hear the words around her. Excessum's voice was louder than Kiara's... and its passionate plea to end the man's life, as he would have ended hers, was tempting. But it did not overcome her.
Diminishing, Eglantine slumped back against the couch, her face ashen and body trembling as Excessum released her from its energy and magic.

The bound figure groaned and fall back, his cloak falling back. Severus Rosier never regretted listening to the purgers more than that day.

Kiara drew her wand on Severus Rosier, ready to curse him if he tried anything.

"You had better explain to me right now, what the hell you are doing here!" she hissed.

Wandless sending out a binding spell on the young wizard, and trying to manuver her self between Eglantine and Severus.

Severus gasped as Kiara's binding pressed the hot chains closer to his skin. And to think in only moments from now, he could have finished his job... but now, bound in death's chains, he felt only cold and yet he burned.

Agony...

Horatio hurried past Kiara and gently gathered Eglantine against him. Her trembling body stiffened for a moment against him and then she relaxed her head against him and her head settled against his chest.

"Make her stop..." Severus choked, struggling in the fiery chains. They were unseen to all save himself and Eglantine. "Please."
Excessum stretched out and seized onto Severus' mind.

Eglantine gasped against Horatio, the grip she held on his robes tightening until her fingernails tore into the fabric.
"No..." she gasped.

Horatio held Eglantine tightly against him, giving her as much of his energy and magic that he could. "Release it, Heir of Rosier." he whispered. "Let it go..."

Kiara cautiously approached, "Eglantine... it alright let it go.... its alright, he is bound he can't go anywhere, he can't move... and you don't want to kill him....." she said, though her wand remained trained on Severus, despite his screams of pain.

She would not be overly sorry he died, but she remembered Eglantine say Severus was her favorite Nephew, weather that was true anymore she didn't know.

Oh but she did... Every fiber in her being wanted him to writhe in pain. How dare he attempt to kill her! How dare he try to turn her against the man she loved! And as punishment, death seemed appropriate, if not terribly merciful...

But Horatio energy gave her more strength and she finally forced Excessum to release the fiery bonds on her nephew.

Severus panted in exhaustion and relief as he closed his eyes.

Kiara, showed him no sympathy, and tightened the bonds on him, her wand still trained on him, as well as her glare. If she was but a little angrier, she would have blocked him one, in fact she in tended to curse him, very much... however her rule was to get info first and curse after.

"You have one minute to explain your self, before I curse you into oblivion" she hissed. Her eyes conciderably darker now.

Severus spat blood from his mouth and looked from his aunt to Kiara.
"Go to hell..." he muttered.

Kiara looked hardly phased by the remark, she didn't care really...at all, all she knew was she was beyond angry with the young wizard, how dare he do all this to his aunt,

Tendrels of her own fire threatened to erupt from her very skin.

"Fine I am sure I can take the heat... can you?" she hissed again, sounding 'almost' but not quiet like an snake.

Severus chuckled, a deep gurgling sound that brought blood with it as he coughed and laughed. Quickly the sound changed until he was gasping for air, thrashing about for his very life. The fiery chains had poisoned his very blood.

Horatio felt Eglantine attempt to pull away from him and he slowly let her go, shocked and yet silent as she gently wrapped her arms around Severus.

"Sevy..." she whispered, gently stroking his trembling cheek. He closed his eyes as she leaned down to kiss his forehead and went still. The silence in the room became complete...broken only by the sobs that softly came from Eglantine.

Kiara lowered her wand immediately and looked on sadly and lowered her head, she knelt beside Eglantine as she wept and lightly placed her hand on her shoulder. She said nothing.. there was nothing to say, she couldn't begin to imagine the pain Eglantine was in at that moment, on so many levels of grief.

Horatio knelt beside Eglantine and Kiara gently settling his hand on both women's shoulders.
"There was nothing more you could do..." he murmured. Eglantine stiffened under his touch and slowly settled her nephew's body on the floor.
"Oh there was." she stated, softly.

Kiara sighed, "Eglantine.... you can't control everything.. he was here to kill you" said feeling bad. Eglantine had been through so much and now this.

"I am sorry Eglantine"....

With a flash of unfettered fury, Eglantine pulled away from Horatio and scrambled to her levitated position. It was hard to see where her wraith was concentrated as it seemed to waver between Horatio and the body on the floor.
"I do not want pity." she murmured, her eyes clearing so quickly, Horatio blinked.
"Of course not." he nodded, unaware he was doing exactly as she didn't want. She closed her eyes and sat down on Lachesis' couch.
"Edmund... will be so grieved." she whispered, thinking of her brother and his loss. Already he had lost a son and his wife. Bella was adopted and Severus' twin had never been as loved as him.

Kiara sighed, she didn't know what to say or do really, she didn't really now what Eglantine was going through.

She somberly walk over to Eglantine and sat beside her. "What do you want us to do then Eglantine?" she asked. Obeying her mothers command for no pity. As it didn't show in her eyes or voice.
