| Welcome to the after life where the honored dead can observe and talk about to goings on with there children in MK.
_________________ ((We are all ghosts here ^_^)) Kiara watched through a portal of sorts, of Rossa and Demyan talking in the Kitchen and smiled both seem to be rather taken with each other by neither were willing to openedly admit it to them selves.
She sighed almost sadly at the scene, her little girl was falling in love and all she could do was observe.. that was all..
"My little girl is falling in love.. she grew if so fast" | |

| Horatio sighed deeply... here in the after-life, he was nothing like he had been in life. Listless, depressed and silent, the wizard who had endured so much was but a shell of his former self. Mainly his mood was because of a missing person... He had gone to his death, confident that Eglantine, his wife, would meet him wherever he went. But rather than meeting her, he was presented with the fact that his wife had been forced to remain among the living... a ghost, unseen and unheard...
A times, he could see her... still beautiful as the day she had died... walking through the wood not far from the Remnant's home, or watching their children and grandchildren, through her dark black cape. Her appearance was not that of a ghost that haunted Hogwarts... but rather a dark, far more sinister glow, with a heavy dark cloak that hid her within it and a short scythe...
Her penitence for Excessum... Death's veil, without Death's rest.
----
Beside Kiara, Ciaran nodded, his eyes trained on Demyan, in a glare as he longed to be able to question him... "Aye, like a flower." he murmured, wrapping an arm around his wife. It worried him that Rossa had fallen for Demyan Kaminski... after all the young man was... well... Ciaran wasn't exactly sure what he was... but he didn't fully like it.
----
In the afterlife, a young baby miscarried by a weeping mother and buried within a tiny tomb, had grown into a lovely young woman. Ava McKevin was the ghostly picture of her father and mother. Tall with auburn hair and deep green eyes, she watched the world in fasination and awe...everything there unseen save through the portal.
----
Esis moved her card. She was bored beyond thinking...playing solitaire. To "spice up" the game somewhat, she cheated... laying a black 3 on a black 4...
--- Bella Blackwood watched her daughter, Michelle with an almost tired expression... She was tired, not of seeing the young girl, but of not being able to do anything with her. Being dead was annoying. | |

| Kiara eyed Ciaran for a moment, and a small smile appeared on her lips as she saw him glare at Demyan. She doubted there was much she could say to make him feel better.
"She will be fine, Love...." she said with sigh. Before she died she faught to live to be there for her children. But that couldn't happen, she was usually at the portal, watching them grow up without her.
"She was bound to fall in love one day and you know it. Plus Demyan Kaminski is not a bad Kid, he cares about her, I can see it in his eyes" she said. | |

| Kiara nodded in agreement she own eyes misting over, "I know Dear, I know" she said as she hugged him close. A ghostly tear rolling down her face as well, she didn't bother to wip it away.
"But she is not getting married yet though love, don't rush them hm? she said with a sad waterly smile. It was torture watching them grow up without her and Ciaran in there lives. But she couldn't bring herself to stop doing it, she needed to watch over them even if she couldn't do anything. | |

| Ciaran sighed, pulling Kiara with him as he turned from the portal. "They'll still be there when we look back, love." he murmured. They had all the time in the world...after all they were not longer apart of it...
"Go fish anyone?" Esis drawled, yawning as she waved a stack of cards to catch someone's attention. | |

| Kiara nodded to Ciaran, she did however glance back at the portal for a moment catching a last glimse of Rossa's blushing face that she was attempting to hide.
The scene put a small smile on her face before turning around, on one hand it would be amusing watching Ciaran glare at Demyan if and when his little girl and the young Kaminski got together. He was so protective over her, it was adorable, the only type of protective a father and daughter could have.
She looked up when Esis asked to play go fish, "But you cheat.." she merely said while holding Ciaran's hand. | |

| Esis looked shocked for a brief moment at the "accusation", that was before she rolled her eyes and shrugged... "and your point is?"
Ciaran chuckled pulling Kiara's chair out for her a they joined Esis at the table. "Shall I deal?" Esis asked, as if they were playing poker or something more...adult than "go fish" | |

File Name: Sevastyan Kaminski Age: 34 Blood Rank: Pure Blood
| Subject: Re: The After-life Sun Sep 20, 2009 6:21 am | |
| Sevastyan gazed at the three images of interest for him in the portal. First up was Lara, pushing twenty and speaking with a young man around her age. Oddly, said male looked a bit like Fitzwilliam, a boy born around the same time as her. Upon gazing at his eldest child, Sevastyan's perspective couldn't help but make a distinct connection between mother and daughter. Despite all the alterations she'd made to herself - the piercings, and the hair colors - the wizard couldn't help but love the young woman his daughter had become.
Lynn was in Morpheus Keep barracks, with yet a new pet... if he heard correctly, she'd named this one Felix. He had no clue what the little hairball was, though couldn't help but smile wanly upon seeing her delightful expression.
And, if he didn't know any better, his only son was falling in love with Kiara's only daughter...
They'd all grown up so fast. Where did the time go, after he no longer had need to concern himself with the concept of it?
While his daughters brought a smile to the wizard's face, seeing Demyan tended to tear it down. However, paying all of his otherworldly attention to the girls and not to his son was hardly seemed fair even if they couldn't realize it. It was just that... looking at Demyan was hard to do. Especially after hearing some of the things out of the kid's mouth Sevastyan would rather not have heard. It had been his greatest fear his children would hate him upon his passing.
That fear, in part, had come true.
For nine years, Sevastyan was forced to watch Demyan mangle and twist the truth of why Sevastyan had more or less sacrificed himself. The child's ideals were so far out of proportion it wasn't even logical. Each time the boy would start up, Sevastyan would cringe as if being burned alive... even though he was already dead. The back-stabbing pain he felt every time was very much like being alive: it hurt like hell, and only made the wizard feel like dying yet again.
"She was only four, so she really doesn't have a whole lot to go on... A lot of times she wants to hear about someone else though. Someone I'd rather not discuss..."
Gray eyes made even grayer by being in the form of a ghost misted over with a mix of emotions so torrential it made Sevastyan force himself away from the portal in a huff. He stood, or rather hovered, off on his own to calm down and cool off. It tore at and scorched his heart with agony and fury that his son was so set against him due to a misguided notion. Why could the boy not see?! Hadn't he always felt the affection and caring that practically radiated from both parents?! Heard it dripping from their voices?! What had changed, other than his inability to be there and watch the children grow with living eyes?
"Sevastyan..." Praskovya Kaminski's spirit approached and placed a hand on her eldest son's shoulder. "He is just grieving. You vould have had much anger, too, if your father had died ven you vere that young."
The only reply she got was a harsh scoffing noise and her son's attempt to escape from the topic that had been brought up. With a sigh, the witch decided to let him be. Praskovya would not be deterred but would allow him time to cool off. During such a time she glanced glanced around the immediate area for perhaps a different method to ease her son's silently-endured torture ... the ghostly form of a certain other witch that was very close to Sevastyan's heart.

Ethan watched with amusement as Tavish and Valerio walked down one of the Keep's tunnels together, a smile on his face. His son had grown into a fine young man, and had even made a great friend in the McConn lad. Ethan didn't worry about whether or not Val laughed enough: the kid was a practical joker.
From another portion through the portal he watched Christine and couldn't help but sigh. He wished he'd had more time with her. With all of his family and god-family, really. Here Valerio was still growing up without him, and Christine was growing up without him now.
The wizard jumped at the word 'fish' and glanced toward the table at which Esis, Kiara, and Ciaran had seated themselves around. 'Go Fish... card game...' he told himself. Second later he mentally slapped himself for the mental lapse: he used to play that card game a lot with his children.
-------------------------
Michael sidled up to Bella and placed a hand on her shoulder, the other firmly gripping the spectral guitar he carried. The wizard rockstar had died with guitar in hand, and thus had a guitar with him in death. It would've been hell indeed if there were no instruments to play in this life. Or After-life, as it were.
"What's she up to today?" he asked curiously and settled himself beside her. "And who's the other kid?"
Yes, that was no small amount of overly-protective, fatherly concern in his voice. | |

| Bella sighed and smiled as her husband joined her in front of the portal. His hand on her shoulder was comforting. "Darius..." she muttered, her face set in a pout. "They are planning on "stalking" Tav and Val... seem to be enjoying themselves." Her head cocked to the side as she watched her baby. Growing up... without them.
---
Horatio sat apart from the rest. His eyes were constantly trained on the shrouded form of Eglantine, dead, yet cursed. Not far from him, Ciaran's parents, Agnus and Rachel McConn sat, gazing through the portal at their last surviving grandchildren. Their sons and their families had all perished at the hand of the rising and now ruling purgers. All save their oldest son's three children and they enjoyed watching them. | |

File Name: Amaranth Viper Age: 23 Blood Rank: Pure Blood
| Subject: Re: The After-life Sat Oct 10, 2009 9:52 pm | |
| "Amaranth, darling, please calm down. I promise your Father, Uncle, and Grandfather have the purest intentions!" Andromache attempted to soothe Viper, placing a gentle hand on her shoulder as they witnessed the events occuring at the Chapel between their kin.
A sound of disbelief escaped Viper as she stared incredulously at the woman she now knew was her grandmother. "Purest intentions? The only reason they are taking any action in the first place is for their own damn benefit!"
Andromache winced in reply. Viper was right, of course. The main motive and catalyst that lead to the three's assistance was more or less because of the chance to move on past their ghostly state, but still. Andromache firmly believed there was still a purer reason for their actions. After all, there were other tasks they could have chosen to move on, and helping their descendants was their personal choice...
"Truly, Amaranth, you need to relax." Levi put on his best, charming smile. "Come on now, you're in the afterlife! You know, paradise, heaven, nirvana! Can't you try to enjoy it, at least for a moment?"
However, all their attempts proved abysmal as they were met with only a rather icy glare. "Ten years..." Viper uttered softly. "Ten years since I've held my children, held a proper conversation with them..." She bit her lip in an effort to ward off the tears.
"Look at Lynn. Still traumatized after all these years by what those damn muggle kids did to her. She's terrified to make friends so she seeks solace with animal after animal. The older two have grown up so much, but... they're so confused..." she whispered, wiping away. "One hates Sevastyan, the other hates me... They're so lost and confused..." a dry laugh escaped her. "And we can't explain it to them..."
"Amaranth..." Leviathon began as he approached his sister. Considering he had never known Fatherhood or anything similar, this was one thing he couldn't help her with.
"Leave me..." Viper replied as she quickly brushed away the tears that made their way down her face. When it was clear that neither Leviathon nor Andromache were willing to part, she took the matter into her own hands, gliding away in long strides, exiting that particular area. They couldn't help her. After all, they either had no children or none that loathed them.
For a place known as a paradise: a haven for all tortured souls where they may rest in bliss for all eternity, it certainly was rather overrated, in Viper's opinion, and rather misleading. To her, it wasn't a haven, but rather a prison, keeping her from her children. Not to mention the fact that Viper felt much more pain on this side then she ever did among the living. While the other orphaned children missed their parents, thought of them fondly, her's cursed their mother and father. And there was nothing anyone could do...
Her heart leapt to her throat as she turned a corner and noticed the form of her husband. Her already broken heart shattered into more pieces as she noticed him in the same, fragile state as she.
"Sevastyan..." she whispered softly, moving to be near him, her voice thick with sorrow. | |
