History:
Darien, the eldest child of the Vampire clan head Reginald, Darien is proud of his status of Vampire Prince. After being initiated early, just after his fifteenth birthday, he has grown bloodthirsty and reckless, often going on solo hunts. He believes that he is invincible, and refuses to back down from any kind of challenge. He thinks his younger sister, Ana, is too quiet and bullies her regularly. He doesn’t care much for her, and thinks every second spent talking to her is a waste of time.

He enjoys being a young vampire and often accompanies his father on hunts. Ana’s stubborn distaste for drinking blood and killing humans makes him hate her more, as he feels she is an embarrassment to the clan he will one day rule.

Darien has been taught how to hide his emotions and control himself, but he never bothers with it except in his father’s presence. To all others he is openly arrogant, proud and cruel. If angered, he reacts violently, as Ana knows well.

Darien left Durmstrang early, preferring to devote his time to becoming a fully-fledged vampire. Despite having a good degree of magical skill, he finds his supernatural powers much more terrifying and ranks them more highly amongst his priorities. He trains hard, and dangerously, so that he will be able to overcome any obstacle and rise to the throne after his father with his claim undisputed. He gets jealous and paranoid about his three other male cousins, two of whom are of similar age to him, and makes a point of fighting, and defeating them whenever possible. He purposefully tries to destroy the confidence of those around him so they aren’t threats, and this is why Ana is so quiet and withdrawn.
