((Current update: Eglantine is currently in a wheelchair which she uses whenever she is not levitating herself around...))Description: Eglantine is short, 5 feet, and slender with long blonde hair, which she keeps in a loose bun at the nape of her neck and green eyes. Her skin is abnormally pale and her hands tremble slightly when she is nervous. She is a "pure blooded" witch. She speaks with a fairly heavy English accent, but due to having a broad vocabulary, is able to speak in different ways. She rarely smiles as she prefers logical order and truth to silliness. Although not overly friendly, Eglantine is a loyal friend and helps anyone she can, however she can. (though she prefers to help from the shadows, making it unknown that she helped) She walks with a limp from an accident 8 years prior and uses a cane at all times.
History: Raised as the only daughter of her researching parents, Eglantine lived in twenty different countries by the time she finished primary school, giving her a vast amount of experience and a pretty good handle on several languages, which she continued to learn on her own later on. Since her parents were often busy with their writing and travelling, she learned at an early age how to prepare meals, clean a house, and most importantly take care of her five-years-junior brother, Edmund. She was home-schooled from first grade through high-school, receiving a mostly muggle education until her parents decided to return to the magical community when she was a freshman in high-school. Afraid that her lack of magical knowledge would impede her for the rest of her life, Eglantine graduated from her muggle studies three years early and spent the next several years immersing herself in magical studies.
After graduating from Salem University, a magical college in America, Eglantine became enthralled with the subject of Transfiguration. During her high school years, Eglantine had already become an animagus at the tender age of 16 and with that feat accomplished, she continued her studies of Transfiguration even after graduating from Salem University. At the age of 25, she received her Masters in Transfiguration and applied for a teaching position at Beauxbatons Academy of Magic.
During one of her vacations, Eglantine met a dashing muggle History Professor named Richard DeLanquar. After corresponding for a year by letter and dating for another year, the couple married and Eglantine, 30 at the time, left her position at Beauxbatons to live with her husband in America. She was able to get a teaching position at a muggle state university teaching Chemistry and other sciences. The DeLanquars lived happily for about 12 years, when an auto accident nearly killed Eglantine and fatally injured Richard. He died after sustaining critical injuries and Eglantine, in her grief returned to magical England where she lived in solitude for 7 years. Finally, after deciding to move on with her life, Eglantine applied for a position at Beauxbatons, but since the position she desired was already filled, she was turned down. A few months later, she applied for the Transfigurations position at Hogwarts and was graciously welcomed by Headmistress Kiara.

Edwin Richard DeLanquar, Eglantine's three year old son, is currently living with Eglantine at Hogwarts. A bit chubby, Edwin has brown hair and green eyes. He is a happy toddler, who lives a very active life and looks for every opportunity to have fun. His origins are kept secret by his mother, Headmistress Kiara and Professor Viper.
Kiara Riddle-DeLanquar is Eglantine's heir and legal daughter. Eglantine also views the younger woman as her closest friend.
Eglantine is engaged to Horatio McKevin, Hogwarts History of Magic professor.
Bella Rosier, Professor DeLanquar's niece is a Slytherin fifth year at Hogwarts. She is a fairly sneaky Slytherin, who enjoys to cause trouble without receiving punishment for it. Quite popular amongst her fellow Slytherins, Bella finds Gryffindors annoying and anyone who is not a pureblood fairly commonplace. However since she was adopted by her father and mother, she is not certain of her own blood and is careful to not reveal that she was adopted due to that fact.
Edmund Rosier, Professor DeLanquar's brother is 5 years younger than her and was married to a pure-blooded witch named Vivian (formerly Vivian Black) however she is now dead. Eglantine's brother had four children including Bella. Erin, the oldest died at 22. Severus and Corin are both 18. Edmund and both of his sons live in Germany.
