Habitat: Anywhere near an active volcano, or in lava tubes
Description: Looks like an octopus with a head indentation or two like the Japanese Kappa. Serpentine body, with octopus tentacles used as hands. No clear formation of legs. Naturally subdued with freezing charms, though one cast is not necessarily sufficient to work. Immobilization works best, though the open cranial fluid should be well-noted: if spilled in its entirety, and/or if all Translucent Kyanosil is removed, the creature will die.

Appearance: A solid, vivid blue crystalline deposit that will float on molten liquids when whole

Obtained From: Head indent pool of the Wylavoct. Will weaken creature, but not kill it if there is more than one deposit floating in the molten lava pool within said indentation.
