Abandoned Muggle Restaurant

Eglantine had apparated outside of a large building. Removing a vial from her robe's pocket, she quickly took the potion and sighed as she immediately felt revived.

On her way to the gate, she had hidden Excessum in a safe place in the wood. It would be a dreadful mistake to take Excessum with her when she saw her father. Slipping the asp blood into her pocket, Eglantine wandlessly transfigured her witch's gown into a muggle blouse and skirt. Pants were out of the question due to her hip and levitating...

Opening the door of the restaurant, she slipped inside. There was a sign on the door which read "closed" and another which had been nailed over it which stated, "Out of Business". By the graffiti and the dilapidated appearance both inside and out, she surmised it had been abandoned by its owners for some time.

"Eglantine." Her father chuckled, his eyes twinkling merrily as if his beloved daughter had just entered the room. And Eglantine returned his smile, playing along with the lie that been her childhood.
"Papa." she murmured, kissing his cheek as he bent. She was relieved when he did not embrace her.

"What are you doing here, sweetbriar?" he asked, leading her over to a chair.

She sighed, needing no act to sound weary.
"I have need of your help." she stated simply, looking up at him from where she had seated herself. The twinkle in his eyes, false as it was, faded. At least, she mused, he knew she was beyond his facades and lies.

"What is it, Lenty?" he asked. She sighed.

"I wish to join you, Father. And yet I am tied to Hogwarts. I need your help winning Excessum."
