Somewhere only we know...(Daglock Cavill creation station)

A lab from centuries ago, with a healthy coating of dust, except in the very centre, where a space has been cleared.
This is not just a lab...
It shall change history.

A Casillas and a Vaight are reaching the crucial stage in their weapon creation.
Each has a son, who sits watching.
They're waiting for the weapons that can rival the Hallows, and ensure the security of those not in favour with the Perevells...

Note: This is the past, so time-travelling people is the only method of transportation to get here.

Diana landed first, hard on her bottom.

"Ooof!"

"I think it worked..." Ana muttered, standing up.

She turned to face the four people in the centre of the room, and slowly edged towards them, climbing onto an empty bench to get a better view.
The two elder men in the centre seemed to be creating the objects, separatly. Presumably they were going to join them together?
Their sons, she presumed, were just observing. She thought back to her research. The elder Vaight, with a cloak that was green, and slightly torn along one side, and dark black robes, was Marc. But he was meant to be the father of the creator...His son Adrastus was supposed to be the creator!
The young man in black and silver robes, watching keenly was clearly taking no active role in the process.

Ana was puzzled. She sat on the edge of the bench and glanced at Diana.

"This doesn't make sense...In all the legends, the sons created the objects, and the fathers caused the feud...by being murdered by each other. They argued over who was to blame, and the feud began. But...now...Marc is creating the dagger, not Adrastus! It just doesn't add up!"

She glanced back at the elderly man with grey-flecked hair and dark, concentated eyes.
Her eyes glanced across to the young son with golden-brown hair and a hungry expression is his chocolate-coloured eyes.
The father creating; the son waiting?
As she watched, the younger Vaight, only about twenty years old, glanced across at the young Casillas and gave him a nod.

What did it all mean?!

Diana went up to where Ana was.

"Fasinating," she said looking at the older men fumble with creating the objects.

Victor Casillas was watching his father, Donato. He was about the same age as the Vaight however, he had dark hair and blue eyes... unique to the Casillas bloodline.

Victor replied to the Vaight's nod with one of his own.

"My knowledge of this is only so little..." Diana confessed to Ana. "Maybe the sons finished what their fathers couldn't?"

Ana's mind flicked from suspicion to suspicion.
"I...I may be being paranoid, but I doubt that nod was for no purpose."

Marc lowered his wand, slowly. "It...it is finished." He turned to Donato. "Are we ready for the final test, my friend?"
Adrastus' eyes were fixed on the shining dagger, the emerald hilt shining fresh and new, the short sharp blade black as coal.
Marc held it reverently, resting it on his palm.
It shone in the light, the small gap for the locket shimmering brighter than the rest.
Adrastus' hand drifted casually to his pocket.

"Indeed," Donato replied. He held the locket carefully in his hand, holding the garnet pendant on one hand and the gold chain on the other.

"It is beautiful." Donato smiled at their handy work.

"Now..." Marc walked forwards and placed the dagger on a small bench. "It should fit...in the gap there on the hilt."
He drew a small, plain silver dagger and sliced his palm, allowing blood to flow onto the waiting dagger.
Surprisingly, it absorbed it easily, retaining it's ebony colour.
Marc healed himself and stepped backwards, waiting for Donato.
Adrastus gripped his wand and watched eagerly.

Donato drew his own dagger and sliced his arm. Donato's blood dripped into the locket and the same thing happened as with the dagger, the locket absorbed blood.

Victor cracked a mischivous grin to Adrastus.

Adrastus' eyes sparkled with impatience and he grinned back.

Marc put his hand on the dagger and held it out, ready for Donato to postion the locket.
"We are so close..." His eyes shone with excitement. "We shall rival the hallows with these!"

Donato held the locket with his three fingers and he slowly lowered it in...

Adrastus gasped as the room was lit up in a blaze of light. It was all colours, yet none all at once.
He couldn't see anything, until the light faded and the body of Marc fell to the floor.
The artefacts on the table glowed bright blue, and then the light faded.

Ana's eyes were wide.
"He's...they're...dead. The devices must have..." She trailed off, slightly disgusted by the idea.

Donato dropped dead as Victor looked wonderingly at Adrastus. "What happened?"

At the same token, Diana echoed what he said. "What happened?"

Adrastus darted to Marc's side.
"He's dead...They're both dead." A grin lit up his face.
"This could work to our advantage old friend...We can be the creators."

Ana grimaced. "I...I think the artefacts sucked the life force out of Marc and Donato. And now the sons will take the credit." She gazed at the dagger in her hand.
"There's...life... in these!"
She grinned slightly. "Now how can we use this to our advantage?"

At first Diana was a little disgusted at the fact that there was life in the artifacts. But then, she got Ana's drift. "Could we use them to revive Tio Armando?"

Victor smiled. "We are the creators."

Then he drew his wand. "I am sorry my friend but I have to give you to the authorities. You murdered your father and mine."

"Yes..." Ana grinned impishly. "Then he can rescue Calista and get out of the country. Our families aren't ready for a baby from both."

Adrastus' wand was ready in the blink of an eye.

"I think you are the only murderer here, Victor!"

He grabbed the dagger but the locket fell off onto the floor. Adrastus cursed.

Diana nodded in agreement. "My family would disown him..." Diana let the disapproval in her voice out.

"Always were such a clutz, Adrastus," Victor chuckled. He quickly managed to grab the locket.

"Avis!"

Adrastus sent a blasting curse at Victor, destroying the birds on its way.
There was a sound from outside and he froze.
A beeping alerted the two to the fact that someone was coming. Adrastus slipped the dagger into his pocket and conjured a flask, which exploded, incinerating the two bodies.
He glared at Victor. "If I go down, we both do."

"Well I for one, have seen enough." Ana turned to Diana. "Let's go."

"You're wrong," Victor said smirking. He put on the locket, pressed on the Garnet stone and he disappeared.



Diana nodded. "Agreed - " Just as she said the word, the locket burned blue and they were again transported back...

Adrastus snarled and apparated away, leaving the charred remains of the two creators for the ministry to find.

Ana flet herself being pulled forwards through time, back to the hogwarts library.
