Hall in front of office

Dick grinned. "You're welcome to leave Baron." He got several cans of Weasley's magical paint from his bag and past it around.

"So, should this be a grin or a smile?" Cook said as he was handed a can. He demonstrated the difference with his own face. "I could do a smirk as well."

Bruce retrived two fold-able platforms from his bag and cast a levitating charm on both of them.

Darien chuckled. "Oh, definitely a grin. Although, we could always take a vote..."

"Time. Is. Of. The. Essence." Hector hissed, glancing nervously around.

Rory hopped onto a platform and stretched up to the ceiling. "About here?" He asked, glancing across at Bruce. Darien shook his own can of paint and knelt on the floor, edging into line behind Rory, and exchanging a devious grin with Dick.

"Everybody ready?" He asked in hushed tones.

A dull muttering of a displeased Baron echoed down the corridor slightly. "Shut up Baron- half the castle can hear you." Rory remarked- not as sharply as usual- as he flicked open the can and began to spray...

"Grin it is." Cookie grinned as well. He shook the can, took aim and sprayed.

Bruce hopped on top of the other platform and nodded at Rory. Bruce started where Rory's line ended, creating the circumference.

Dick smirked mischieviously. He shook the can and sprayed it off to the side… where the Baron was. “Ops, sorry Hec, I was just testing it out.” And before the Baron could retort, Dick started on his on part of their masterpiece.

Hector glowered, sure it had been intentional. He quickly glanced over both shoulders, similar to a dog chasing it's tail, to see if any of the luminous paint had hit his clothing. That would be infuriating. Fortunately, he seemed fairly unharmed...as far as he could see. Folding his arms at such childish behaviour, he continued to watch out for passers-by. "Very funny." He muttered bitterly.

Rory continued his work, creating a great circumference and then returning to add in a giant X-shaped eye. Grinning, he leant back on the platform, trying to make it as gargantuan as possible...

Snorting briefly at Dick's actions, Darien remained crouched on the floor, starting his own line at the far wall and drawing nearer, mirroring the work of Bruce and Rory.

As Cookie went over to reinforce his grin, he wondered briefly if he should add a pair of teeth. He brushed it off however, better stick to the plan. And with two final strokes he stood by and admired his handy work, and watched while the others finished.

Bruce had finished with his part of the circumference and now worked on the "X". He looked to where Rory was and tried to calculate exact distance. Good enough. He sprayed the first line, then the other.

Dick was slightly disappointed that there was only a spec of paint on Hector's "new" suit but he shrugged it off. He could always improve it later, after finishing his current work.

Rory jumped down from the platform, somehow managing to avoid the lines of gleaming paint. That wouldn't rub off for a while, he grinned, as he folded up the platform and placed it to one side.

Darien linked the circumference together half-way up the wall, and stood back, can now empty. "Excellent work." He smirked, watching those still embellishing the artwork.

"Will you hurry up?!" Hector snarled again, taking a step backward. "How long does it take to draw a giant happy face?"

"Not long at all Baron," Dick said spraying a bit more. He stopped and put the lid back. "But this isn't just a happy face. It's a work of art!"

Cookie grinned. "A masterpiece!"

Bruce jumped off from the platform as well and folded it back. He returned both platforms in his bag.

"And I say, what a wonderful masterpiece it is." Dick said standing back to see their work better. "We've out done ourselves lads!"

"The Mona Lisa was originally meant to look just like this." Darien proclaimed, and Rory chuckled.

"We really should have taken Art." Rory grinned at Dick's comment.


Hector waved an arm aggressively. "Come on! No point standing here like fools, let's go!" And with that he turned on his heel and stalked off down the corridor.

Pausing for another glimpse of art, Darien reluctantly did the same, and Rory took a moment to imprint it permanently on his memory before hurtling down the corridor behind them, leaving no trace that they had ever been there...

Beside the giant smiley face, that is.

Cookie and Bruce escaped the same way the others did. While Dick lingered a moment.

"I hope you enjoy our gift, Hogwarts." Dick said bowing before running after the others.

Kiara stood out side her office simply staring the painting on her wall..

"Well I will give them creativity anyway..." she said not really sure what to make of it.

Tilting her head she sighed, wondering if she should simply vanish it or let it stay there for a day or two so they pranksters would get there laugh it would be done with.

"Horatio, this just isn't a good idea..." Eglantine nearly whined, floating along behind her husband as he pulled her down the hallway.
"It's a beautifully inspired idea. Calm down, Lenty."
He chuckled.
She grabbed the wall, stopping them and got him to turn to her.
"No, it isn't. I'm not going to my daughter and telling her..."
His eyebrows lifted, sparkling mischievously.
"Kiara is understanding, loving and not going to do anything but be ecstatic. So settle down."
Eglantine sighed, folding her arms.
"Simple enough for you to say."
"Hardly." he assured her, tucking an arm around her. "Fine... let's not go tell Kiara. I'll just keep the 'I told you so' for when she asks why we didn't tell her earlier."
Eglantine glared at him, softening immediately as he winked.
"Very well... knock."

Kiara was in her office, half working half playing with her cat Lav, everytime she tried signing papers or marking students files Lave would swat at her feather quill..

"Really.. why wizard sociity don't use pens is beyond me... " she muttered this time intentionally letting Lav "attack" her pray. she chuckled as she heard a knock at the door..

"Come on in.. though if Ciaran is with you be warned I have playful kitty with me" she said as Lav pounced on her hand..

Horatio opened the door, laughing heartily.
"Ah, never fear about that. I brought my own kitty... though she's less than playful." he kidded, urging his fellow professor in after him.
"Very funny..." she muttered, amused but hardly showing it.
"Hello, my dear. Having a pleasant morning?" Horatio asked, going to the Headmistress' desk and waggling a finger in front of Lav. "Hey there, kitty cat."
Eglantine gingerly sat in front of the desk.

Kiara giggled at her parents tease's, they were so funny some times.

Lav swated at Horatio's finger, forgetting momentarly about the feather.

"Pleasent, yes.. though productive no... " she said as she motioned to her unfinished papers. though in all honesty she didn't really seem to mind. as her hand traveled to pet Lav rather then pick up her quill.

Lav rolled around seeming un sure weather to attack Horatio's finger or get her mistresses hand..

"So what can I do you two for?" She said with a chuckle noting Eglantine seem ready for business as usual.

"That's usually the way it works." Eglantine sympathized. As of the moment she had many unmarked papers she was supposed to be checking. But Horatio had his ways of being very convincing.
"Sad but true..." Horatio nodded, scooping up the cat and scratching her behind the ears. "Such a pretty little kitty..." he murmured. "Ah, yes... what we came for."
Eglantine groaned.

"Well, you see... uh." Horatio set Lav up on his shoulder, giving her leave to play with his hair, which was just long enough to flit wildly about. "Uh... You wanna say it, love?"
Eglantine rolled her eyes.
"Oh yes... you dragged me in here, away from my work and everything and now I 'want' to tell her." exasperated, she glanced to Kiara. "He missed his calling as a comedian, don't you think."

Kiara raised an eye brow curious though she snickered at Eglantine's exasperated reasonse.

" Oh you both are hilarious" she said trying and failing to hide her smirk. I wouldn't said but there were cute while bantering like that.

"Whats the big secret?" she asked, she laugh slightly as Lav stood her hind legs on Horatio's shoulder and pressing her fornt paws on the side of his head. with the looking her face like she wanted to jump on his head and was debating if she would do it.. she often got that look when ever she came across Ciaran's shoes... or feet.

Horatio winked at Kiara.
"Of course we are." he bowed. "And since obviously Eglantine has no desire to let the 'cat out of the bag'." That earned him a glare. "I'll do the unveiling."
Reaching up to tickle the kitty, he took a deep breath.
"I'm afraid Eglantine and I eloped, Kiara. And we're expecting twins."
Eglantine groaned, covering her eyes.
"Very gently said, love." she hissed.

Kiara's eyes went wide and her mouth dropped a little at the two big shocks, but slowly she grinned. Though she would have liked to see them get married she was Very happy for them none the less.. and Twins? the fact Eglantine was pregnant at all was a shock thought.. Twins.. that was just miraculous.

Once the idea set in to her mind for a second she became very happy for them.

"Thats wonderful you two, Congratuations! Double time I think" she beamed as she got up to hug them.

"When did all this happen? Have you told anyone else yet" she asked.

If Horatio had been any happier, he would have burst, his smile as broad as it could get. Eglantine blushed pink.
"Told you..." Horatio teased, kissing his wife's temple.
"Thank you, dear." Eglantine rolled her eyes, giving a sincere smile to Kiara. "This is all quite a shock still. And it was not planned."
Horatio shrugged.
"We married on our cruise... seemed romantic and as much as we wanted you and Ciaran, everyone one, Amaranth, Sevastyan and Esis to be there... the moment hit and with a bit of wine..."
"Horatio!"
"Yeah, sorry. As the moment led, we tied the knot by the ship captain and found out three days later we were expecting." Again, his smile was way to big.
"You're the first to know, Kiara."
"But not the last." Horatio gushed, proudly.
Eglantine did not agree.
"Oh no. Kiara is going to be the only one to know until it is absolutely necessary."

Kiara looked at her parents in amusement and giggled oh she could just see it now the students driving Eglantine nuts by pointing at her growing middle and asking if she was having a baby.. or the shy her ones simply looking at her in wonder unsure if she was having a baby or getting fat. The thought made her laugh again and feel sorry for Eglantine at the same time.

"It is up to you weather you tell anyone else of course, but Eglantine be prepared for the rumours, unless you plan to illusion yourself, the students are going to catch on fast" she said her eyes shining. She spoke from observation when she was a student as soon as a teacher was expecting most of the student populus knew as soon as the bump made a appearence. It was startling how observant children were.

"Plus Horatio looks entierly to happy even for him" she said with a chuckle.. thought she wasn't one to talk she looked absolutely beaming aswell. Even though she wasn't a soon to be parent yet she felt excited for them.. even though she had a feeling she would be more of an Aunt to them then a Sister.. it made her happy all the same.

Horatio chuckled, yet again.
"She plans to have a glamour from today to the day before the child is born... Silly little bunny."
Eglantine glared at him, but the effect was ruined by her faint smile. Really, the couple was far too happy to really be upset with each other. And no one could blame them. At their age, they had endured a great deal before such a time of happy peace and a baby to many people was the product of a fruitful love. "Maybe you could help me convince her that a pregnant woman is about as lovely as a woman ever gets." he looked hopefully to Kiara as Eglantine floated to the window.
"And as for being happy... I'm over the moon and willing to shout it. I would very much like to shake every person's hand I know and tell them the glorious news... I'M TO BE A FATHER! oh happy days!"

With that, overcome with the need to tell someone else, he hurried from the room. "Be right back." he promised.

Eglantine sighed, suddenly looking weary as she turned back to Kiara.
"He's such a child." she stated fondly.

Kiara giggled and shook her head, she couldn't blame Horatio for being so happy.. he would make a good father. That much she was sure of, since she already looked at him as one.

"He's excited Eglantine, and he has a right to be. You can't fault him for that.. he's a wonderful father" she said with a smile.

Kiara looked at Eglantine a little calmer for her sake since she will likely have a hyper Horatio for the months to come.

"So how do you feel? Twins is a big surprise eh?" she asked as it was obvious what Horatio felt.. Eglantine was that much harder to read sometimes.

"I am happy that he is excited." she softly assured her daughter. Her hand moved to her yet flat abdomen. "I am uncertain... at best." With good reason; after all, she did not truly even remember her first two pregnancies and her health was on rocky terrain. She looked from the window back to Kiara. Her hands clasped tightly as her lip trembled slightly.
"It keeps... keeps coming to mind that I failed at being a mother with you and Eleutheria... what if I fail again?" her eyes had filled with tears. "I'm frightened."

Kiara blinked mentally hitting herself for not seeing this before.. "Eglantine... listen okay? You didn't fail.. We were taken from you by circumstanses beyond your control.. That won't happen again, not if any of us can help it" she said trying to assure her mother..

Though she was happy for them worries over Eglantines health had crossed her mind.. "You are a wonderful mother Eglantine, take it from some who knows eh?" she said softly trying cheer her up..

Lav picked this moment to pay Eglantine a visit and leap gracfully on to her lap looking for attention..

Despite Kiara's heartfelt assurances, Eglantine did not feel much relief. It was easier to simply blame herself for the horrors that had been inflicted on her own children, simply because someone had taken them. Somehow she felt at fault, since that bittersweet day when she had discovered through Kiara, that she was her birth mother. She knew, deep down, as Kiara said, that it had been beyond her control. But for someone who had aspired for so long to have children, only to come to the realization that one had already had them and lost them, it was crushing and she still felt trapped by the guilt it had created.

"How have I ever been a good mother to you?" she asked, more so passingly than with actual curiosity. She patted the kitty's head, revelling in the soft fur of the creature. "You've gotten very big haven't you, precious." she whispered, scratching her ears.
