Dare Meeting

Ana evaluated the situation.
"Alright I'll be honest." She sat up straighter in her chair.
"I am not keen on this whole...Darien-Diana thing. It seems strange and disturbing to me. But if this is some scheme that involves destroying my brother, I shall not help you settle your little spats. You two are both old enough to do that yourselves. So I hope your plan is not for revenge, but to help your precious cousin, and my brother, back onto the opposite sides of the...spectrum."

"Oh don't worry," Nicolas said. "Your precious brother won't be hurt. All I ask is... you stay out of the way and let things happen."

"How can I let them happen when I don't know what they are?"
Ana raised an eyebrow. "So basically, I don't kill you or your cousin or that weird Boris guy for...how long?"

"As long as it takes," Nicolas chuckled. "You might want to find a date for him in the Yule Ball..."

Ana's smirk grew.
"Very well...And who have you organised for Diana?"

Nicolas grinned. "It doesn't matter does it? All that matters is that at the end of the Yule Ball, they won't be together anymore."

"For once we agree on something."
Ana's smirk vanished.
"That's quite scary really..."

"Indeed, it is." Nicolas said, smiling. There was a... dark aura to it that didn't really make it a true smile.

Ana rolled her eyes.
"Don't smile like that, it's probably illegal in most countries. And it's creepy."

"Whatever you say Vaight," Nicolas continued to smile. "Could you phantom the idea that if those two actually had gotten married, we'd be family."

Ana grimaced.
"Not for long I assure you. Father would have disowned Darien the instant such an engagment was publicised."

Nicolas chuckled. "Yes, the same would have happened on my end."

"It's ironic really how alike our two families are in approach to...well, each other. It's also disturbing because it means we end up on the same side...Which is weird, creepy and unnatural."

"Weird, perhaps, creepy, indeed, but unnatural? I don't think so." Nicolas said. "Our fathers have been fighting too long, it would do their memories an injustice if we suddenly stopped and started having babies with each other."

Ana raised an eyebrow.
"That doesn't seem to be the philosophy your uncle followed."

"Yes well..." Nicolas said. He knew that was to be brought up. "Every generation is bound to have a black sheep. Anyway, look how that turned out. A death and an imprisonment. It's fate, Vaights and Casillas don't mix... any attempt to do so is tempting fate..."

"The unjust imprisonment." Ana replied. "Yes, but Diana and Darien's attempt to do so shall soon be dealt with."
She decided not to tell him her and Diana's plans, if Calista and Armando were to escape, he couldn't know.

Zabby walked in, having received an owl. She saw Nicholas, saw he was talking to someone and walked in a different direction. She didn't do well with peoplw she didn't know. And there were Slytherans there as well, which made it all the harder.

"They would." Nicolas said fatefully. "Finally a Gryffindor!" Nicolas saw Zabby walk in.

Zabby smiled. "Hello to you too."

Nicolas walked over to where the Gryffindor was. "So joining Dare Club then?"

Zabby shrugged. "Looked interesting. What can I say. I love a good dare."

Nicolas grinned. "As do I."

Zabby smirked. "Dares, here I come..." Her grin got eviler, just thinking about the thngs she could do.

Amy and Aiden arived in the dare meeting.

Amy was practically dragging her brother behind her.

"Come on brother you have to face this place sooner or later" she said.

"I would rather later thank you" said Aiden.

"Party pooper, come on" said Amy as she stuck her tong out at him.
