Ana sat in a chair at the side of the room, observing silently.
Of course Darien would never enter a Dare Club run by his arch-enemy Nicolas.
Although she had to admit, he acted more like a Vaight when he was ranting or brawling with the Casillas.
She sighed and glanced around, looking for anyone she knew.

Nicolas was in the shadows waiting when Vaight walked in the room. He smirked. "Well, well, Ana Vaight, you were the last person I'd expect to be here."

Bella Rosier entered and seated herself quietly in a chair. Waiting for something to happen, she pulled out her notes and continued to study.

"Casillas." Ana replied blankly.
"Then maybe you should expect the previously unexpected..." She rolled her eyes.
"And don't worry, Darien won't join and yell at you and Amy again. For while I couldn't care less if he kills you or whatever, he has exhausted my patience by acting like an insensitive imbecile to Amy."

Bella chuckled. "So you are having problems with your brother...Ana." she stated, not looking up from her notes.

((They are still friends, yes?))

Ana smiled. "Yes...I'm starting to think he does it just to annoy me, as some kind of imbecilic revenge."

Bella looked up from her notes and wrinkled her nose. "Aren't brothers all the same? Is it a girl or a pet?" She had heard rumours of Darien's infatuation with that Gryffindor Prefect...but was not about to believe gossip.

Ana sighed. "Believe it or not, it's got worse since he met Diana."
She shot a glare at Nick.

"So...the Gryffindor has a name." She rolled her eyes. "Diana Casillas. Did Darien ever consider the fact that she is a Gryffindor?"

"Unfortunantly when I forced him to, it didn't seem to matter to him." Ana shook her head slightly.

"Funny, I don't see what he could ever see in her. I mean she is fairly plain, normal figure and a second rate personality. Even Raven would be a better match than her. Besides, she's a mudblood, isn't she?"

"Me neither."
Ana smirked as she glanced at Nick out of the corner of her eye.
"May as well be."

Bella snickered. "Then of course no pureblood would be sorted into Gryffindor and then secretly long to be Slytherin."

Ana smirked. "Yeah, I don't know what's going through her head either. It's like a really bad joke. Gryffindors and Slytherins have never, should never, and probably will never again, date!"

Bella laughed, "Then what's this I hear about Amy Avalon dating Nicholas over there... Slytherin and Gryffindor again..." she rolled her eyes. "Chaos defined, eh?"

"It's crazy."Ana laughed. "It's like a great conspiricy to unite the houses...But I don't intend to let such a conspiricy succeed. We Slytherin do not need to lower ourselves by even speaking to Gryffindors."

"Hear hear!" Bella chortled, moving over to sit next to Ana. "But there is a cute Hufflepuff you may have noticed. Michael Blackwood..."

Ana thought for a moment.
"Is he the one who was in astronomy?"

"Yeah..." She crossed her legs. "He plays a guitar and sings as well. Really well."

Ana glanced at Bella out of the corner of her eye. "Well Hufflepuff is better than Gryffindor...You could ask him to the Yule Ball."

Bella sighed. "That would go against the Rosier traditions. A girl never asks a boy out... But I could make an exception, I suppose."

Ana smiled impishly. "Just don't tell them that you asked him."
"Speaking of the ball...are you entering the Triwizard?"

Bella returned the smile. "Oh I love the way fellow Slytherins think. I'll give him a chance to ask me and then if that doesn't work...I'll ask him."

"No, I will not be entering..."

Ana grinned, lowering her voice so only Bella could hear.
"Don't tell the entire school...but I entered." She felt proud, having bent the rules around only over 16s.
