The stables

"I have no beef with you Unicorn." Persephone said. "It is that human that bothers me."

Persephone scoffed. "I thought I'd never see the savage beast tamed."

"What has he done for you exactly that you consider him worthy? Or have you lowered yourself for just a few scraps of food."

"I will not explain myself to you, unlike you I do not come running at the call of sugar..." Obsidian said darkly.

Darien was tor between the desire to say something scathing to the unicorn, or to laugh at the hilarity of the situation.
"Yeah, your teeth'll be worn away soon...All that sugar can't be good for you. You should see an animal healer or something."
It was interesting that he could understand animals in this form, and he stored that fact for future reference.

"Do you really think me superficial? That I would merely run to a human with sugar?" Persephone laughed. "Oh Obsidian, you have much to learn about me."

To Darien, Persephone added, "Athenons are not like you, human, we need not healers for every malady that comes our way."

Darien laughed. "So Nick's just over-protective then...And hey look a big floating sugar cube with 'gullible horses only' written on it! You should go bite it!"

"I do not understand what she sees in you." Persephone said coldly. "Athenons choose mates that are strong and brave... not some cowardly beast that would drag an innocent creature into a trife between two enemies. Between you and Nicolas, obviously the better mate is him."

"Yes the guy with the pony for a best friend is clearly better than the...dark wolf." Darien's eyes gleamed with humour.

"The human who didn't attack an athenon from behind is the best human." Persephone said. "I have not done anything to warrant that attack. Your quarell with my human is between you and him. Attacking the ones he cares about is a low blow. And I am not merely a pony, human. I can see why Nicolas would choose me as a campanion instead of another human. It is clear that you are a lower species."

Darien grinned, teeth glinting.
"It's his fault really, he opened you to attack be association. It's not a low blow, it's a commonly used tactic! And aren't you a tad full of yourself?"
He raised an eyebrow, somehow...It felt weird in wolf form, so he stopped.
"Or maybe you're just full of sugar..."
He met Obsidien's gaze and the corner of his mouth twitched into a smile.

"So perhaps the next time your mate rides me... perhaps I should just tilt my shoulders a little so she'd slip and fall 1000 meters from the ground?" Persephone said trying to prove a point.

"And hurt your own rider?" Darien asked, tone scathing.

"You are missing my point human." Persephone said. "I am not like you, I will not hurt your mate just because I have a score to settle with you. Of course, that is how Athenons deal with problems. I understand it it different for humans... especially Vaights."

Darien snarled.
"You make me sound so much like a bad guy...You are so naive."
His eyes narrowed.
"Think on this Pony, I am the most honourable and...kind...of my entire family. If it had even been my younger sister in my stead, you would not be here now. Nor would your little Nicolas."
His tone was bitter. "You have no idea how cruel Vaights can be."

"Yes, cruel... the only humans can be described as cruel." Persephone said darkly, shaking his head.

"And only you can be descirbed as a 'sugar-high canary'." Darien smirked, glancing at Obsidien again.

Persephone sighed. Humans were impossible. "Alright human." It was a bid for farewell.

"Obsidian." She bowed to the other horse as a show of respect. Then she flapped her wings and flew away.

"Fly away pony, fly away home."
Darien muttered. He turned to Obsidien.
"I think she's suffering from sugar-withdrawel-syndromes."

Kiara lead they way to the stables, they were currently walking through a herd of thestrals. Kiara hoped Tav couldn't see them. They were well out of the way so not chance of walking into one.

Once they were in range of the stables Kiara pointed to the pair of Hipogriffs and to border to the forbidden forest.

"What to see a few of the animals?" she asked.

Tav said nothing as they passed through the thestrals. After asking his dad about them, he didn't want to tell anyone he could see them. He didn't want to remember his mother dying or his friend dying.

"Yeah, sure." he smiled up at the Headmistress... Kiara, he corrected himself. She was really nice.

Kiara walked down to the stable and pointed out the unicorn and Hipogrffs in the stable.

"The uncorn over there is a rear bread, a black one it is a tad more aggressive then the common breed which is why it hang out here.. No other unicorns around"
She explanined momentarily slipping into teacher mode.

Then she saw the Hiopgryffs she walked into there pen and bowed, both bowed back.

"Hey Tav want to try and pet them? Don't worry they are really easy going these two. And I won't let them hurt you anyways. Only if you want to."

"Nay, I'm fine. Dad says looking can't hurt, but not to touch. He says that about animals and store stuff." He watched the Hippogriffs with a smile on his face.

"So, are ya gonna marry my dad and become part of the family?" he asked.

Kiara nodded at Tav answer it was understandable.

However at his last question her mouth dropped "Oh Tav I... well... it would be a honor to be a part of the family... and your father and are still...l how do I put this, getting to know each other better" she said.

Then a smile crossed her face "However if things continue as they are it is very likely possibity.... I hope so anyway" she she said walking back out of the pen.

Then up a head Saturn thirlled and flew down on Kiara's shoulder.

"Ah come to introduce your self have you?" Kiara said to the bird.

Laughing she said "Tav this is may Phoenix, Saturn, Saturn this is Tav"

"Wow! You have a Phoenix! Just like Dumbledore. Howd you get him?" Tav asked, his eyes wider than plates.
