The stables

The stables of Hogwarts are home to many creatures, theastrals, Salamanders, Hipogryffs, as well as a rare black Unicorn, (last one it a secret, no one knows about it)

Come and visit or have detention....

Darien gagged at the smell of the stables.
His eyes blazed momentarily with anger and then with resignation.
He walked in, gagging inwardly and stood where he thought there was least mess.
"Headmistress?" He called into the gloomy stables.

Kiara poked her head around the corner "Aw there you are Mr. Vaight, since you seemed rather reluntatant to see the threatrals I thought You get accquanted with a reble, much like your self" said Kiara.

"Hiccup" (T_T)

Darien rolled his eyes.
"A rebel? In a stable? Where is this fiendish animal?"

"hiccup oh sorry" Kiara indicted to the back in a more opened area with gress.

Inside was a Black male Unicorn graseing in the feild.

"Mr. Vaight meet Obsidion, the only black Unicorn in England. And he doesn't act like other unicorns"

Darien blinked twice.
"He's a black unicorn...so what? What's he do that's so special and un-unicorn-ish?"
Was this his punishment? Look after some strange freak of unicorn breeding?

"Well most unicorns are peaceful, Obsidion is wild and a bit violent, it has been decided by the minsitry he will be move to a closed stable to be studied.If he has no master or herd to go to. I am hoping someone could gain his trust, become his owner if you will, but he hasn't accpted anyone yet."

Kiara stopped "Hiccup"

"For your detetions for the next mouth Mr Vight, he is your reasponsidblity, making sure he has flood, water, cleaning his stall every morning and riding him of course"

"I have to what?! No way! I'm not Nicolas-I don't go around riding strange mythical animals for some weird reason!"
Darien backed away from the pen slightly. He didn't blame the unicorn for being violent, it must be pretty boring for it beign cooped up in there.
Heck, it actually was the dark horse of it's family... Darien inwardly groaned. That was an awful joke...by anyone's standards!

"Don't worry Mr. Vaight, he won't hurt you it is only the other unicorns he is violent against. Besides I think he will like you, you have alot in common,hiccup... go on it starts today" Kiara urdged.

((Do you want to play the Obsidian or shall I?"

((um.. don't mind. You can play him if you want, I've got enough characters already lol))

Darien rolled his eyes. He had nothing in common with a horned horse.
He lazily climbed over the fence and stood by it, ignoring the unicorn completely.
"Now what?"

Kiara sighed "Well don't just stand there you need permision to touch him before you can do anything. Just bow slightly, it he bows back he has given you permission to tough him. If he dosen't we can move on to the thestrels in stead" said Kiara.

Hm...threstrals and death stuff or a random unicorn that's the wrong colour?
No contest.
He bowed slightly and waited.

Obsidison seemed to glare and juge to boy bowing infront of him. He didn't want be here, he could tell.

Moving closer to the boy he wanted a closer look.

Using his nose he taped the boys head up seeking to look in his eyes.

Kiara watched nervously and softly she said "Look into his eyes Mr. Vaight"

Darien jerked his head away from the horse and looked cautiously into his eyes.
They were darkly intelligent and seemed to be judging him.
He glared back. He wasn't going to be intimidated by a horse.

Ah good the boy had backbone, that glare proved that, and he wasn't afraid in the least.

Obsiden seemed to contemplat for a moment before bowing his head slightly to the boy. He had no doubt they would bump heads, but perhaps things would work out.

Darien growled as the horse bashed into his head.
"Oi! Watch it! You have a horn and I don't have a spike-proof head."

((LOL i didn't mean litteraly))

Obsiden gave him a look as if to say "indeed."

Before walking away wondering what the boy would do next.

Darien glared exasperatedly after the unicorn, before turning back to the headmistress.
"Oh look, he's walking away! He doesn't like me. Big shame..." He muttered sarcastically.

Kiara rolled her eyes "No Mr. Vaight he is waiting for you to make the next move, you have permission to touch him so touch him, pet him feed him a sugar cube do something"

"Couldn't I just stand here?"
The look on the Headmistress' face made the answer clear.
"I guess not."
He summoned a sugar cube and wandered over to the unicorn.
He poked it with a finger.
"Hey, helloooo? Have some weird processed sugar."

Obsidion looked at the sugar cubes and wit his horn swepped the cubes on the floor.

He gave a look as to say "Those things are dicgusting"

Darien sniggered.
"What? Are you on a diet?"

In response he stomped the sugar cubes with his hoves.

"Headmistress, he says he's on a diet!" Darien called over his shoulder, unable to keep the laughter out of his voice.

Kiara laughed "I told you he wasn't like the other horses, and quite the opposite from Nicolas Casillas's horse infact," she said as she pulled out a bag of carrots.

"Obsidion can't stand sugar, try these instead. Then we will see how he will respond to riding him"
