Thestral Nest

Taylor remembered her saying something about that when they were in muggle school together. He hugged her trying to comfort her and himself. "I hate death..." A tear fell from his face but then wiped it off, "This is to depressing...You want to go to lake?" He asked and smiled.

"O.k" Raven replied and they walked to the lake together.

Becca came and bumped into Raven "hi Raven!" she smiled and hugged her tightly.

Raven stared at Becca awkwardly and and blinked, "Uh hi?" she replied. She then felt Becca embraced her and Raven shivered. She never had a hug like that since her father passed away, "Um, Becca? you could let go now," she said feeling awkward.

Becca and smiled "Hi Taylor" she gave him a wink was trying to show off so Taylor would like her.

Raven rolled her eyes at her, "Don't you have something ELSE to do Becca?" she asked getting annoyed.

Amanda finally noticed there were people around she walked up to them and said "Hey Taylor, hey Becca. How are you guys?" She saw somebody new "Hi who are you? I'm Amanda."

Becca saw Amanda and waved "Hi Amanda how are you!" she giggled.

Raven saw the young Gryffindor and didn't even smile, "I'm Raven," she introduced herself. She was glad Becca stopped bothering her now.

"Hey Raven. I'm fine. I haven't a Panic Attack in a couple of weeks which is a new record for me. How about you?" Amanda inquired

"Um, I'm fine I suppose, What do you mean panic attacks? Is something wrong?" Raven said unease.

"No, nothing's wrong unless you count having three mentle disorders. A Panic Attack goes with one of my disorders. Basicly I do nothing but stress out which is why I don't go to class very often." Amanda explained

"Wow...that sucks," Raven felt bad for the young Gryffindor.

"Yeah, does isn't it? But luckly I made it to sixth year."

"That's good," Raven smiled at her, "I hope things go well with you."

"Thanks." Amanda said appreciatively

"Your welcome," Raven smiled, "It was nice talking to you we should hang out more often."

Becca gasped at the news she never knew Amanda had so much problems and Becca felt bad, "I'm so sorry Amanda I never knew that that's so sad to have mental disorders"

"Really? I thought I told you. I usually tell everyone I meet. I don't like to keep secrets" Amanda said

"She has short term memory loss trust me! If you tell her anything she'll eventually forget, unless it was important," Raven laughed.

Becca hit Raven in the arm "I do not! I just tend to forget things once in a while because I have to much school work to be worrying about" she said trying to act all cool. It was true ever since Cedric died she had forgotten a lot of stuff so it was difficult for her, but she didn't want anyone to know that.

Raven rubbed her arm where Becca hit her, "Ow, what was that for?" She angrily said at Becca not appreciating Becca's hit. Raven looked away from everyone and watching the thestrals walk around.

((different time line))

The full moon is 2 days away which is frightening for 1st year slytherin, Alexandria. She was now walking deeper into the woods to find the threstrals, but she obviously gotten herself lost on the way... In the middle of the night.

As the full moon draws closer she became more weary and drained, she was hoping she wouldn't attack anyone by the time the full moon arrives. Then again the wolfsbane potion helps out very much.

"Ugh I can't believe I'm lost" she mummbled to herself as she was struggling through some vines.

She then had a thought and shivered, she forgotten all about the dementors roaming around the castle grounds. She didn't know the spell to flee them away. She sighed as she continued on her journey of finding the threstral nest.

"I think I'm close" she spoke to herself. The air began feeling colder then usual and she new what was happening.

"Uh oh..." She turned around and was now facing a dementor. She didn't have the courage to scream, she didn't know WHAT to do so she began running for her life. The dementor was chasing after her and she tripped over a root.

Ok I'm obviously stupid for coming to the Forbidden Forest at night! Someone please save me! She thought to herself and she waited for the ice cold dementor suck her soul out.

Raven was admiring the thestral that was in front of her and she gave it some meat to eat. The atmosphere of the area dropped a couple degrees and she narrowed her eyes knowing what was happening. She took out her wand.

"Lumos!" she said and the tip of her wand lit up brightly. She saw a dementor attacking one of her fellow Slytherins and she ran to the rescue. On her way over to the dementor she was thinking the happiest thought she could think of and when she was in between Alexandria and the dementor she yelled out.

"EXPECTO PATRONUM!" A silver mist raven came out of the end of her wand and attacked the dementor making it flee. Once the atmosphere was back to normal she faced the 1st year and helped her up onto her feet.

"What were you thinking coming to the forest all by yourself at night!?" Raven asked. She then sighed and thought she shouldn't be mad at her while she is still in shock.

"Here eat this, it'll make you feel better," Raven gave Alex some chocolate and looked around the area for any more dementors.

"Where were you heading anyways?" Raven asked.

Alex closed her eyes but then opened them back up when she saw Raven jump in front of her. She watched in awe when she saw the silver raven attack the dementor. When Raven held out her hand to help her up she took it.

"Sorry, I am stupid and I don't think straight at time" Alex gave a weak laugh and took the chocolate Raven had offered.

"Thanks" she smiled and ate some. Her whole body began filling up with warmth and comfort.

Once she finished the chocolate she answered Raven's question, "I was on my way to see the thestrals right now" she smiled.

She noticed they were right there walking around on the ground. Her heart began to beat faster she was excited to meet the thestrals face to face. She then looked back at Raven.

"Thanks for saving me by the way, I think I am to young to die" she laughed.
