The Infirmary

((SORRY!!))

Juria was already at work, she was getting different bottles of poitons she had gotten and picked out two. She rushed over to the professor and put the poitons on the bedside counter.

"Oh darn it, when you run into mountian trolls you are supposed to tell the doctor EVERYTHING even if it was nothing like just the wind knocked out"

Juria took out her wand and muttered a spell, a thin beam of light erupted from the end of her wand and was casted on the professor, providing a x-ray.

Through the x-ray spell Juria saw that most of the professor's ribs were broken and two of them were puncturing the lungs.

"Oh darn it!" Juria yelled and then looked over to Kiara.

"Kiara, she is going to need surgery... as you should know, magic wont fix anything a Mountian Troll did..."

Juria looked over to the professor with pity, she knew it would hurt.

Kiara bit her lip and she looked at Eglantine in worry, If she could anything to lessen Eglantine's pain she would.

Looking at Juria she asked "Would pure Phoenix tears help you in the surgury at all? lessen the pain at least?"

Juria sighed, looked at the headmistress then replied

"No, the pain she is going to feel is after the surgury, and i bet even a numbing poiton will not have complete effect. The surgury will be just fine, , ill put her to sleep so she wont feel a thing during it... however its after the surgery that im worried about, it will be very troublesome, she might not be able to move without being in extreme agony..."

Juria looked back at the professor with a look of pity, there was no way she deserved to be thrashed by a troll and now she was taking the punishment for nothing.

"I have had surgery before." Eglantine muttered. It hurt to breath or speak, but she felt that she needed to assure Juria. "Eight years of constant pain have made "agony" bearable."

Juria nodded and felt sorry for the elder professor

"Dont strain youself to talk however are you sure? I could rearange the bones with my wand... however that would be way worse than the surgery would... What would you rather have professor?"

Juria knew that she was running out of time, She caluated that the professor had at least 15 minutes of concious time left before she fell into unconciousness. If that happened, they would definatly have to preform the surgery. It was true that the sugery would be better for the woman, however the sugery would keep the professor in bed for a while, away from classes.

"Use your wand." Eglantine whispered. She had Edwin, classes, and her other responsibilities to worry about. Surgery did not fit into her schedule.

Juria looked worried,

"But professor, if i fix it with just my wand then if you have to walk a lot or do something extreme, you might start internally bleeding again. And you wont be completely healed until you actually get the sugery..."

Juria wanted to make sure that the professor knew all angles of her choice.

"Yes, I will be careful." Eglantine hated the pity that was clearly written in Juria's eyes. "You have my permission to begin."

Kiara placed her hand into Eglantines hoping she could be a little confort.

"You realise I am going to be keeping a much closer eye on you now?"

Eglantine nodded, her vision dimming. "Yes..."

Rachyy limped into the infirmary asking for the nurse. Her ankle was swollen and bruised from when she tripped in the Headmistresses office. Also she had furthered the injury more by practicing Qudditch earlier in the day.

Juria looked up from her work at the arival of a student

"Yes may i help you?"

Juria noticed her placing her weight on only one side and came to the conclusion that she had hurt her ankle.

"yes nurse i think my ankle may be broken. see i tripped as i was walking into the headmistresses office and i played qudditch today so i think furthered my injury." Rachyy said while wincing in pain. Addehkai let Rachyy use him for support on her ankle as he wrapped around and under her ankle.

Juria ran to the young student and helped her to a bed.

"Take it easy"

She instucted

"Hold on for a second ill have something for you quickly."

Juria raced to the cabinet and took out a wrap, and two poiton bottles. She then went back to the first year student.

The school doctor knelt down and removed the girls shoe and sock. Judging by the bruise and the location of it she guessed what might have happened.

"You might have a second degree sprain."

She informed the student.

"Is there a way to fix it before Qudditch season nurse?" Rachyy questioned worriedly. Addehkai stared the nurse down as he was not comfortable with a stranger giving Rachyy some potion without checking it out first.

Juria smiled and nodded,

"i think flying doesnt qualify as a action of running"

Juria eyed back at the snake, her deep blue eyes calmly telling it that everything was alright.

"Oh im sorry, i forgot again, my name is Juria nice to meet you"

Juria turned her eyes back to the student and smiled warmly, also letting the girl know everything was fine.

Addehkai calmed a little but still layed there in a defensive pose ready to strike if Rachyy needed assistance. "Addehkai wont hurt you unless i tell him too. Dont worry about it. he just wants to smell the potion to make sure its safe. hes very protective of me. and my name is Rachyy and its nice to meet you too." Addehkai nodded his head in agreement to what Rachyy said as he stared at the potions the nurse had.

Juria smiled and opened the bottles

"I had figured as much that he wouldnt attack me without you saying anything."

Juria smiled at Rachyy.

"Now hold still for a second please"

Juria took out her wand and casted a x-ray spell and a small beam of light toward Rachyy's foot. The x-ray of rachyy's foot showed that no bones were broken, that was good.

Juria smiled and put away her wand

"Yes as i figured, it is a 2nd degree sprain, you are not allowed to do running or putting too much pressure other than walking on it for hmmm 4 weeks."

Juria smiled, Rachyy would have to limp for at least 3 days, then she could walk normally but if she balenced on it or put more pressure on it than average normal walking, it would hurt. Also Rachyy could not be able to move it in a circle like the other foot, however other than that she was just fine.

Addehkai noticed the nurse was helping and completely relaxed. Rachyy was quite glad to hear that she would be okay.

"Thank you so much nurse for all your help. I'm also very sorry if Addehkai frightened you. He's actually very gentle. Just the potions worried him."

"when may i leave the infirmary?"

Juria smiled at Rachyy,

"Dont worry, he didnt frighten me"

Juria looked down at the foot and noticed the swelling. She quickly put one of the poitons on it, this made the foot reduce the swelling and look better.

Juria then wrapped one of her bandages around the ankle, in the exact way that it was needed, she was an expert on wrapping.

"You may go, however you can stay here to relax the foot for a bit, and to keep me company"

Juria laughed, she was jokeing about to stay to keep her company even though she wanted it, Juria had not had too much chance to get to know the students at Hogwarts yet.

"well id love to stay and keep you company nurse Juria!" Rachyy exclaimed.
"As long as you dont mind Addehkai here. he wont hurt other incoming students I promise."
"hes just so faithful he wont leave my side. um miss Juria. . may i talk to you about something? only Addehkai knows."

Rachyy looked at Addehkai and talked to him in parceltongue about the secret she was about to spill.

He agreed that based on his senses, this woman was trustworthy.

Juria laughed, she was happy someone wanted to stay to keep her company.

"Sure i dont mind he is a real beautiful snake, and you may call me Juria, just Juria"

Juria smiled at the young student, she was so polite calling her miss or nurse, but it was unneccessary

"You can tell me anything you want Rachyy"

Juria smiled, happy to have someone to talk to and help.

"Thank you miss Juria. .er Juria sorry, I've never called an adult by their name before. Well I haven't known many adults actually. After the terrible death of my parents," Rachyy paused, " anyway i wanted to talk to you about, er, well, i, umm , erm, i was infected by a werewolf at age five. the reason my parents are dead. he killed them and only bit me before i hid and ran away where i met Addehkai a year later. i dont know what to do."
