The Infirmary

Eglantine hesitated. Juria, would doubtless notice how slowly the damage to her side and hip was healing, not to mention the potion that she had created to give her more control over her nervous system.

"If you wish." she murmured. At least her ribs had almost completely healed...

Juria smiled and nodded then muttered the spell and all of the Professors medical issues were brought before her eyes only.

"Is your hip and side still an issue Eglantine?"

Juria asked when she noticed how slowly it was healing. Then a weird problem arose,

“Professor, there is a blood clot blocking flow in your hip, it can only be caused by if you had a child, so how long ago did you have him or her? I need to know since the length of time might be what is causing your injury to be prolonged.”

Eglantine's mouth dropped open. "I beg your pardon!" She gasped softly. "I have never had a child. Any problems with my hip and side are directly related to a car crash almost 9 years ago, and the troll attack." Now that was not strictly true, due to the fact that she had also had problems during the Dracovan attack and the vanquishing of Cerise, but Juria knew nothing about that.

((Falling_rain... Eglantine did not give birth to Edwin...would you mind saying it was a misread diagnosis, because it could not take place...))

Juria got a confused expression and looked over the diagnosis again,

"Oh, that is strange, normally this sort of clot is caused by that... however I guess it could be from trauma but only in the rarest of cases, but anyway once I remove that clot your hip will heal a little faster, though not all the way."

Juria smiled an apology, she had never actually seen a blood clot like the one the Professor had from sheer trauma, it would have had to been a very bad accident or prolonged accidents to have caused it.

Eglantine sighed. "Lovely to hear." she stated seriously. "I have already been making progress in regaining my mobility." Slight hyperbole, since the extent of her "regaining her mobility" had been falling down on the floor... but then again, Juria did not have to know that.

Juria nodded and said,

"Good, good, I’m glad that you are working to regaining it... will you hold still a moment for me please?"

Juria asked while observing the blood clot.

"Has anything else been bothering you professor? I hope that I will not miss anything... I stopped the diagnosis after seeing that blood clot so from your perspective, does anything else seem un-normal?"

Eglantine shook her head. "No, nothing else." she stated, wandlessly casting a blocking charm to keep Juria from seeing the nerve potion. It was dark arts based and nothing Eglantine wanted Juria to look into...

"Really the cut is the only problem." she insisted.

Juria nodded, hoping that nothing was hidden and while getting out her wand she muttered something illegible which made the clot break down.

"There that should do it."

Juria then took the cloth from the Professor and looked at the cut. It had stopped bleeding and looked clean, no infections or anything like that would start.

"I’m going to put some little strips on you, they will just hold the cut together better so it doesn’t open easily."

Juria laid the strips across the cut and then put a bandage on it.

"There you should be good to go, oh and I saw your ribs and they seem to be healing fine."

Juria smiled at the Professor, hoping she had been of some help.

Eglantine returned a small smile. "Thank you very much." she stated. "Your assistance is always invaluable."

Juria smiled, happy with the compliment, and then informed the professor

"Now try to take it easy, and not get any more injuries. I enjoy speaking with you whenever i can, however it is better when you are not hurt, right professor?"

Juria laughed a little, she enjoyed the company of the people she would help, however it was sad that the only way she was able to see them normally was if they were hurt, which was a bad thing.

Eglantine nodded. "I will be careful, thank you." And offering the younger woman a small smile, she left the infirmary.

Calista walked sleepily into the infirmary.
"Hello? Nurse?" She turned to Armando. "Okay, the second she proves there is nothing wrong with me, I am going to bed and to sleep. And if you dare wake me up at some absurd hour tommorow morning, I will hex you into oblivion."
She sank into a chair and waited.

"Are we going to have the same chambers then?" Armando said with a twinkle in his eyes.

"Well if you don't want separate ones..."

"I don't think I can be apart from you again." Armando said seriously.

Calista smiled, pushing back memories of Azkaban.
"Neither do I."
She stood up and hugged him. "So no playing with spears."

"No... " Armando said. "Never again."

And he took her in his arms.

"Good." Calista muttered into Armando's shoulder. "But...I can't help feeling..." She shook her head. "Never mind."

Armando looked at her concerned. "What? What's the matter? Is it the baby?"

"No...I'm fine as I keep telling you..." Calista shook her head.
"It's just...this whole...I've been disowned...And I can't help feeling it's not fair on the little one. They'll never know any family except your niece and my teenage second-cousins. It's just...unfair."

"Forget about them," Armando said sternly. "They don't deserve to know our baby..." He balled a fist. "After what they did to you..."

Calista sighed. "They were just distraught..."

"No," Armando said. "You are with child. That accounts for something."

Calista rolled her eyes. "About three months..." She bit her lip. "I wish I'd told you earlier...I should have...And I'm sorry."

"No I'm sorry," Armando said shaking her head. "I should have told you how I felt earlier... I was just... afraid..."
