"Oh Merlin!" Diana looked around in dispair. "What have I done?"

Zabby shook her head. "You did nothing, Diana. Well..." she paused. "From what you told me was he was testing you. And you reacted differently want what he thought you would. You were testing him and he reacted differently too."

"I but..." Diana stopped. "No, I don't want to break up with him!"

Zabby nodded. "Then give him a chance. What are you going to do with Boris?"

"I can't take back what I said to him." Diana said sadly. "I mean, he seems like a nice guy... I can't say 'oh wait, no I can't go to the ball with you, sorry.'"

Zabby thought about it. "Go with Boris. Diana, there isn't much you can do..."

"I feel so... rotten..." Diana said. "It's all his fault you know! Gah sometimes he just makes me mad!"

She gave a small smile. "I wouldn't know about that... But most guys are idiots in my opinion."

"Yes," Diana said. "Yes they are. Big fat iditots!"

Zabby grinned. "Feeling better, Diana?"

"Yes, loads better. I am not doing anything wrong, it's his fault I'm not going to the ball with him... "

Zabby grinned. "Good. Glad I could help."

"So," Diana said. "Enough about me, who are you going to the ball with?"

Zabby shrugged, suddenly emmbarassed. "No one...I don't think I guy would look at me for anything, really."

"Not true," Diana said refuting her claim. "I saw I few glances come your way... besides, two other schools are here."

Zabby gave her friend a look. "You are kidding, right? I hardly talk... Who noticed...?" she asked, a morbid curiosity nibbling at her.

"That kid..." Diana said vaguely. "Alright... I don't know his name but he looks at you a lot."

((Yes she's talking about Hayden))

Zabby shrugged. "He looks like the little brother I never had." She smiled. "But maybe."

((Man I want some salami!))

"I think he likes you," Diana said smiling.

((*hands salami* Here. Have fun!))

Zabby smiled. "I think you've lost your marbles, Diana, but I'll take a look."

Diana laughed. "We should go buy dresses together."

Zabby smiled. She had gotten her friend's mind off everything that had happened. Good. "We should!" she said, giggling slightly.

((Let's go to the Common Room?))

"To Hogsmeade then." Diana said.

Zabby nodded. "Sure! Let's get going!"

SHe grabbed her purse, made sure she had her money and made her way to the door.

Maximus Pearson, or Max, which he liked to be called, was up bright and early for his first class. It's been a few months since school started, but even so, the school still overwhelmed him. He got changed his school uniform, grabbed his books, and walked towards the stairs. He couldn't wait to start a new day!
