Need more Quills? Parchment? ink? here it the place

Glancing down at the list in her hand, Ana needed two more bottles of ink and parchment. Checking in her purse, she had plenty of money.
"Could I please have two bottles of ordinary black ink and six rolls of parchment?"
She stood by the till and waited while the woman in the shops began gathering the equipment, when something caught her eye.
A long dark quill, black with flecks of blue at the edges, was tucked behind a display about multi-colour ink.
Wandering over and examining the price, Ana checked her purse again. Carrying the quill back to the counter she paid for her purchases and left the shop.

"Finally," Helena said. "Where have you been?"

"I was... caught up." Diana said vaguely.

"Well we could have decided to met in a more interesting shop... I mean, there was only so much I could look at here." Helena said.

Diana chuckled. "But you said you wanted quills!"

"Yes, and now I've bought all of the quills that I would ever need." Helena held up two plastic bags.

"Blimely, Hel," Diana exclaimed. "How much quills did you buy?"

"You took so long, there was really nothing else I could do." Helena said.

"I'm getting you out of here before you fully clear out their shop." Diana dragged her out.

Rachyy walked into the shop looking for quills. She only has one very old quill and needs a couple new ones. She also looks down at her parchement which reads, 'quills, ink, MORE PARCHMENT'. She then remembered that list was her last roll. She averted her gaze from quills to parchment while waiting for her good friend Ana to meet up with her.

Ana walked into the shop, letting the door swing shut behind her.
"Hi Rachyy." She glanced into her pocket, at the coins.
"I can't believe how much parchment I've gone through...And I broke my favourite quill."
She ran an eye over the quill display critically. "What're you looking for?" She asked her friend.

"oh hey ana!" Rachyy said excitedly to her friend. she was so happy to finally have a friend other then Addehkai, who was slithering right behind her by the way.
"im sorry you broke your quill!"Rachyy said, "im looking for parchment, quills, and ink. im low on supplies!"

Ana smiled. "I've got to find another quill, one that won't break in five seconds." She wandered over to the display, and began searching for a quill. She found a hardy looking quill, quite thick, black with flecks of green along the edges. She glanced at the price. Hopefully it would last the year, for that price.
"And now parchment," she muttered as she wandered over to the other side of the shop. "How's Addehkai today?" she asked, watching the snake as it slithered along.

"thats a beautiful quill Ana!" Rachyy exclaimed!
Rachyy walked over to the quills and found one with purple horizontal stripes. "well that looks kind of unuasual, don't you think Ana?"Rachyy asked her friend.
Addehkai slithered over to Ana when she said his name.
"hes doing quite well, look he seems to like you!" Rachyy smiled.

Ana observed the quill her friend was holding. "Yep, unusual. And quite cool." She smiled at the snake and reached down to carefully touch his head.
"Hello Addehkai."

Rachyy brought the quill to the counter and paid for it. Rachyy then went to look for purple ink to match the purple striped quill.
"Addehkai is quite gentle" Rachyy said as she picked him up and put him on her shoulder. Addehkai coiled around her shoulders lightly. "would you care to hold him Ana?" Rachyy questioned.

"Okay..." Ana glanced at the snake, wary of the fangs.

"don't worry! he won't bite and he's not venomous! i promise. he's very gentle" rachyy explained to Ana. Rachyy passed Addehkai to Ana as he lightly coiled around her shoulders.

Ana stroked the snake's head with one finger, smiling slightly.
"Slytherin has the coolest mascot. Snakes beat lions any day."

"yes they do! Addehkai can easily suffocate any lion in his path, not that he would. hes to mellow" Rachyy laughed. Rachyy noticed how nervous Ana was about holding her snake. "would you like me to take him back now?" Rachyy inquired.

"Thanks." Ana handed back the snake. "I'm not very used to pets. Mother can't stand animals, we're not allowed any, other than my owl and Darien's eagle."
She became absorbed in the parchment display, wondering which would be best for her essays.

Rachyy spoke to Addehkai in parceltongue telling him to come back. He slithered up her body and coiled on her shoulders. "well i found Addehkai as a baby when i was 6 years old after my parents had passed away the year before." Rachyy said. "I realized i could communicate with him and understand his language. we became friends almost instantly. of course, i just found out this year that being able to communicate with Addehkai means i am a parcelmouth." Rachyy went on.
Rachyy found the ink and parchment she needed and brought it up to the counter.
She paid for her supplies and went back to join Ana.

Ana grabbed a few rolls of parchment and pulled out a handful of coins, which she used to pay.
"Got everything?" She asked, shrinking her purchases and tucking them into a pocket.

"i believe so" Rachyy replied. "would you like to join me back in the common room?" Rachyy asked.

"Could we play quidditch instead? We need to practise, we're the beaters remember."

((Ana's in the common room, lol.))

"okay let's go!" Rachyy smiled.

Ana turned and left the shop, the door almost hitting her foot on the way out.

((We go to the quidditch pitch - in the hogwarts castle bit - and just fly around, writing what happens etc.))

Rachyy puts Addehkai down and lets him slither behind her as she goes to meet up with Ana in the Quidditch pitch to practice.

Zabby noticed two Slytherans exit the store and shook her head. She was running low on ink and parchment. She checked her wallet in her purse, making sure she had enough money to pay for things. Her adoptive parents weren't poor, but she didn't like taking their money anyway. She nodded to the store keeper and proceded to get her things.
