"Diana wait up!" Helena said following her friend inside the store.

"Oh! Look! They have more then a dozen flavours of Sugar Quills!" Diana said excitedly.

Kiara walked in to the sweet shop,

"Students love coming here, and I must admit chocolet has always been my weakness. any sweets you like?"

Eglantine surveyed the fully stocked store and shook her head. "I am afraid that chocolate does not agree with me. Sweets have never held much admiration from me. Of course I have nothing against others, especially children enjoying them."

Kiara nodded then she saw some 'candies' that had always confused her,

"Although I never got why the magical communtiy insists on making things that don't tast good. Acid and blood pop? and some of those flavors of those every flavor bean are awful. At least muggles make candy that can tast good"

"Agreed. I think I'll have to go buy some muggle treats for my Muggle studies class. It might force them to like it better."

"Are they really giving you that hard a time? Hmm.. perhaps you are on to something, Let them use objects of muggle invention, as apart of the lesson of course. Am I right in assuming it is the students who have never even met a muggle before who are giving you a hard time?"

Said Kiara as she turned to Eglantine.

"No. Mainly a few Slytherins. I dislike the idea of playing in class though." She peered into a jar and chuckled at the strange name.

"Playing? No that isn't what i ment exactly. In terms of technology muggles are highly more advanced then us, Because of our magic sicentific
advances have reached a virtaul hault in the wizarding world, Perhaps showing them things that muggle have invented to make up for lack of magic may make them more interested..... It is only a suggestion of course" said Kiara.

"Indeed." Eglantine seemed rather appalled at the idea, but was as cordial as possible. "I will think about it."

Kiara sighed, clearly they had very different methods of teaching.

"As I said it was only a suggestion, anyway the next popular place students go is zonko's joke shop. Not that spent much time there myself, I am not much for pranks. But many students go there"

"A joke shop?" Eglantine sighed. "The students under my supervision shall not. Pranks and joke items are on the forbidden list, if I remember correctly." She raised an eyebrow. "Dangerous items used to harm and torture fellow students rightly should be forbidden."

"I would hardly call the items at zonko's dangerous Eglantine, not all the items are used for pranks, some are more party Items if you will. And the list of forbidden items is only effective in halls of Hogwarts, Should a student be caught using one in the hall, be all mean give them a detention, But we don't babysit them in their dorms. They are bound to have fun with their friends and play around as kids do."

Then another thought came to her

" But I do know these jokes can be used for bullying, which if i hear is happening I will have all Items confiscated and the offeneders Hogmeade privliges will be tking away idefinately."

"Indeed." Eglantine looked around the shop again. "When I was a professor at Beauxbatons, we had several students play pranks, of the innocent variety on the Headmistress. She believed that the pranks were too advanced for children to have done them and had the entire staff body punished. After that, we were very careful about prank items. As you say students should be able to have fun as long as it is not at the expense of others."

"This former headmistress of yours sounds like a real lunitic, punishing her staff because student pranks? I must say my opinion of this women is very low indeed......" Kiara stopped wondering if she could ask or not.

"How did she punish the staff anyway?"

"Now that you mention it, that joke shop sounds lovely!" Eglantine stated, heading for the door. "Shall we go?"

"I guess it wasn't alright to ask" Kiara thought to her self as she flipped the store clerk enough money for a chocolate frog.

"Alright if you want"

Ana groaned as she stared around at the walls covered in various chocolates. As expected, she felt suddenly sick. Out in the street the chocolate aroma had been tempting, but now she was inside she felt sick. Searching through her bag, she withdrew a sickle and bought a small chocolate frog.
Pushing it to the bottom of her bag, she left the shop in search of less sweetness.

Nicolas entered the sweetshop first, opening the door for his date. He 'forgot' about her brother of course, and let the door shut behind them.

Amy winced when Aiden was hit by the door but covered it quickly. Really this sharing pain thing was a curse.

"Watch where you are going Aiden!!"

"Hey he is the one who shut the door on my face!!"

"So what kind of candy to you like?" Amy asked trying to ignore her headache/brother.

"I like chocolates," Nicolas said looking at the many chocolate varieties around them. "By the way, did you recieve my owl?"

Amy gave a small smile, and nodded "Yes I did, the chocolates were good thank you"

"You only ate one...." came the depressed reply of Aiden who was standing in a iale across from them. He didn't like that smile.

"Your from spain right?"

Nicolas nodded. "Yes, why?"

Amy shrugged "Just asking, I have never been there before. I have lived in london all my life"

"You should go there someday." Nicolas replied. "It's very beautiful."

"So what type of sweets do you like?" Nicolas said browsing the shelves.
