AU 2
The ghost of Kiara McConn wondered through a ghostly limbo, not completely in the afterlife but not in the living one either. Why didn't she move on? She could not.. for you see she worried and deeply troubled for the welfare of her living family. Her living husband, Ciaran McConn refused to let go of his grief and was effect her other loved ones as well. The fighting.. the fighting got to her the most.. almost to the point she herself felt physical pain over it...
She sighed wishing there was something that could be done, she knew her mother Eglantine might sense her presence sometimes and her distress likely why she puts up with Ciaran's behaviour. She would have never guessed that Ciaran would fall so deeply into grief the he would harm others... if he had been any other man... she would never be able to forgive him.
"Oh Ciaran I am sorry I torture you so..." she murmured as she watched through a misty veil her parents tending to her broken.. grief ridden husband. She wanted to reach out and comfort him.. but she couldn't, he needed to let his grief of her go... comforting him over her death was not something she could do, he had to do it himself. Her sons on the other hand, Tav seemed to handle things rather well for someone so young.. that made her proud yet, it saddened her he had to go through so much... he lost not one but two mothers and his father had changed drastically over it. There were times she would offer a comforting presence to him... he wouldn't see her per say.. but allow him to sense a calming presence in the room if he wanted it.
She did this for Owain the most since he didn't truly morn for her, he felt the grief of those around him. She often would hmm along with his "May it be" player and whisper comforting words into his head if he was upset until either Eglantine or Horatio came to comfort him or he fell asleep. Her parents she felt bad for sometime even feeling anger at Ciaran for hurting them, sometimes the way he did... they do nothing but help him, and he always hurts them again. It times like that that hurt her the most, sometimes even loose herself in the panic and calling out "Stop it Ciaran! Please...." weather any of them heard her she wasn't sure...
Kiara McConn was a spirit trapped in the in-between, unable to move on, to scared, to pained to leave her grieving family behind completely...
So she was forced to stay as the faintest of shadows and watch her family through many ups and downs, and suffer the pain for watching her dearest ones hurt.
