Description: A tall man of thick muscular build leaning to a more portly figure, Agile holds the frame of a man who once stood as an Apollo above many others. However age, lack of care and injury have played against him and he is now greatly deformed. His neck was severely scarred in a duel against an unnamed Death Eater and it took his several years to recover his voice from it. He lost his entire right arm to another fight and was fitted with a magical prosthetic from the shoulder down. They could not create a new hand for him though, so he opted for a metal hook. He has very little hair, but what he has is white. His cheeks are pocked from a childhood disease and he is a tan brown from long years of working long hours in the sun. Of all his features, his dancing eyes are the only part of him without scar or injury. And even they at times take on such a sad look that they fit well with his broken body. Personality: A happy 'go-lucky' person who rarely allows himself to linger on a lost youth and torn past, Agile lives in the present and only does venture when with trusted friends. Loyal to a fault, he's never forgotten a face or friend, always ready to sacrifice anything to protect others. He has been noted to even have suffered injury in order to save an injured enemy from death. Although he's never married or had children, he feels very deeply for children and is often saddened that his face frightens most of them. Dead Boy's Poem by Nightwish History:Dominic and Tasha Blauvelt lost their only child, Tana in a horrific fire the day after her fourth birthday and vowed after her funeral, that they would never allow harm to come to their future children. A year later, their second child but first son, Agilard Thomas was born. He was a sickly babe, coughing up yellow phlegm from his first day of life until long into his second year. Physicians urged the caring parents to not baby him, encouraging him to grow stronger by a need, not simply coddled into weakness. By his third birthday, the formerly sick child had faded away and he had become a strapping little toddler who grew rapidly into a strong fighter who could easily tackle children five times his age.
He was given a good education both muggle and magical, since his parents believed in equality of all. He attended Hogwarts during the school time and had a muggle tutor during the summer.
A year before he graduated, he decided to become an auror, working hard to be able to gain the required markings. It was during his first year as an auror that his little brother, Euan, was born. He became very fond of the little boy and visited often, bringing gifts and doing his best to spoil his rotten.
At the start of his career, Agile was nothing but another muscle, doing whatever his floating willed captain commanded. But as he showed strength and ability in battle, he was soon promoted and by his tenth year, captained his own team, which was affectionately dubbed 'The Ever-reds' a tribute to the blood that often stained their uniforms.
He was delighted to hear that Euan had been sorted into his old house, Gryffindor and sent him his first wand as a starting present.
A party was given on his fifteenth anniversary of being an auror and during the festivities he met 'Tata', a vibrant blonde Welsh who almost literally swept him off his feet. They began that day what would be an on and off relationship that spanned greater than a century. She joined the Ever-reds a year later after nearly being kicked from her old team for attacking her captain and he put a rest to the rumours that together they'd set up the event.
Euan began to desire to also join the auror world, diligently paving the way to join his big idolized brother.
However, fearful for their youngest, Agile's parents begged him to discourage the boy and with a heavy heart he did so. Euan didn't understand his parents or brother's fears and to prove himself, led several of his friends on what was later viewed as a courageous attack against several dark wizards. Sadly, Euan was killed in the battle along with most of his buddies. His death broke his mother's heart and she died four days after him.
Agile took his brother's death hard, blaming himself for not having arrived sooner to save him. No matter how many years passed, that was forever his worse nightmare... his brother's wasted death.
Time passed and with it, his father joined his mother and siblings to await the end of life.
Tata and Agile nearly married in 1932, but problems arose and they separated for the next thirteen years.
Agile was injured badly in 1948 and took an extended leave until 1954, during which he returned to active duty.
In 1987, he lost his arm and was forced to retire from the force, still popping in occasionally to do consulting work.
