Area with a Rock Formation that has a Magical Force Field of Unexplanable and Mysterious Powers that Enable People from One Universe Enter Another

Diana was stalking her prey. It was going to end tonight. He was going to pay for everything that he had done. She was going to make sure of it. Silently, she took out her daggers and prepared to pounce.

Darien walked forwards, perfectly confident. He'd been tipped off that the Casillas heir was stalking him with the intent of reducing him to a pile of sludge on the carpet. How undignified. But he wasn't a halfwit like his sister. He was going to escape, destroy her and overtake his father as most awesome vampire ever.

Well, in his own estimations.

In a split second, he was running, veering towards a large rock formation, away from the waiting Casillas. No doubt she'd follow; he would have her. He would destroy her. Or better, bite her, and make her stake herself. He chuckled, ignoring a slight glint of a cracked mirror deep in the ruins. Who cared about that? He wheeled around, jumping onto a small pillar of rock to wait.

Diana felt a chill of dread as she watched him. He couldn't have known... could he? That good for nothing vampire rat! He sold her out! He probably told Vaight about her! Oh she was going to slay him! Right after she slew this vampire rat.

Well so much for the element of surprise. Whatever. She didn't need it. She could beat him no problem.

"Vaight!" She said coming out of her hidding place. "Let's end this!"

Darien laughed, the sound crackling slightly as it echoed around the sharp rock edges around him, on his rocky precipice. He gave a mocking bow in her direction, taunting her as he leapt to the left, landing behind a small rock wall, wending his way into the maze with superhuman speed and perfect balance.

"I'd love to." His words, rather than being blasted away by the wind, were amplified as they echoed through the rocky corridors. Completing almost a full circuit, accustoming himself to the course, of sorts, he ducked into a slight alcove, pitch black cloak making him inconspicuous as he crouched, ready to lash out.

Diana glared before letting out a yell, not unlike a war-cry. With a running start, she lunged herself at him, using her momentum to hit him as hard as she could against the rock formation. At least, that was her line of thinking...

Darien snarled and grabbed his attacker by the arms as something behind them snapped. How ominous.

He glanced over his shoulder as he shoved the slayer away from him, unwilling to face her stakes, and pulled a jagged scrap of glass from the fur collar of his cape, stepping back so the mirror was to his side, between him and Diana.

A cruel smirk crossed his lips, but his plan of attack fell down as the mirror began to tug him towards it, some odd light overtaking his senses...

Diana wasn't sure what was going on as the light overwhelmed her senses but she knew one thing. She wasn't going to let him escape. Not this time. With her highly trainned reflects and speed lached on to him... to where-ever he may go.

Darien wriggled to break her hold, but soon was overwhelmed with strange sensations of speed, motionlessness and timelessness, all simultaneously. His brain ached, his cranium drooping onto the place where he hoped his shoulder was.

He wasn't entirely sure. All he could see was...nothing. His eyes slid shut, as though that would help.

Like hell it would.
