Street Outside Kiara's Dark Moon Enchantments; located in Russia

That was the music blaring from a black convertible as it flew through the air by magical means, swinging this way and that as its driver deliberately finished executing a “barrel roll” and was now steadying the vehicle as it neared its landing point.

Sevastyan Kaminski, aged twenty-six, sat in the driver’s seat with a smirk on his face. Three years in prison, six months’ worth under the microscope, and he’d been free ever since. A whole two and a half years ago. Despite the breakneck speed at which he’d been going, there was a lit cigarette dangling from his lips as if he was just sitting still. His raven hair was slightly longer than he’d preferred and rather windswept. A pair of sunglasses kept the reflection from the sleek black of his ride from affecting his vision. Because he’d just came from a “business meeting” he was dressed sharply in a jet black suit with a blood red tie.

The engine of the vehicle practically roared and purred interchangeably, landing with a loud metallic thump-crunch on the curbside. And even still, the music blared even louder:



Sevastyan turned the key, turning off both engine and audio system in one fell swoop. A smirk was still on his lips as he flicked the ashes from his cigarette onto the ground away from his vehicle. Replacing the item back to his mouth, Sevastyan opened the door and stood. Before putting the hood up, he retrieved a file folder and a rear-view mirror ornament consisting of twin ruby-eyed skulls. Making sure the car was as secure as he could the young wizard surveyed the sign for his destination.



Walking around his vehicle, Sevastyan wondered briefly who this Kiara was. He didn’t recognize her name, unless it was a variant of another name. A face he knew of belonging to a woman named ‘Katya’ surfaced to the forefront of his memory, but he did not recall her particularly enjoying enchanting work. The best he could figure was that this Kiara was relatively new in town. Then again, Sevastyan himself was, too, being out of prison for barely even five years.

Without even thinking about the still-lit cigarette in his mouth, Sevastyan entered the store and was met by total darkness upon realizing he still had his sunglasses on. Stormy gray orbs peered over the protective lenses to survey his new surroundings.

Sevastyan couldn't believe how slow yet swift four hours passed. His business regarding the ring had gone over flawlessly. The poor soul he was now tormenting with the cursed ring had absolutely no idea what was going on... literally. And word had reached him that certain truths were now out in the open, giving the guy in question an even bigger hole to climb out of. The mercenary was paid well for getting the job done with a great amount of discretion. However, he refused to acknowledge who had cursed the ring.

He was slightly guilty about that.

It was true that his employer was not exactly happy he didn't give the name of who enchanted the ring. Thankfully, he was not "docked" in pay for enlisting outside help. Sevastyan's oath of silence was kept both due to the blood given to seal the deal and via his own ideals of discretion. He didn't trust the people that employed him, feeling they would double-cross him without so much as a second thought.

His attire was simplistic, yet classy; not too professional, but not too casual. Okay, so perhaps the shoes he wore - the same ones he'd had on earlier, in fact - looked a bit more polished than necessary, but that was because he'd had one of the House-elves at his family's manor polish them and said elf went a bit overboard. A white shirt with a blood red tie, black pants, and a black blazer-type jacket pretty much covered everything on his person. Though, the blazer was perhaps a bit longer than Muggles would have accepted to call a blazer.

While he had in fact combed his hair before leaving the house, it certainly didn't look like it now. Anyone that so much as saw his driving/flying would clearly see why, though: weaving in between airplanes and literally flying circles around flocks of geese tended to dishevel one's appearance just a twinge. Especially when in a convertible with the top down...

Spotting the shop, Sevastyan steered the vehicle into a rather wild descent and glanced at his watch - 6:50. Not bad, but he'd been much earlier to dates before. Hopefully, if she was waiting for him, he hadn't been keeping her very long. 'Unless she is still deciding vot to vear...' Sevastyan mused to himself with a snicker. He'd been with a few girls that were indecisive like that in his teenage years.

As per his usual of late, there was a song blaring on his vehicle's speakers ((Ich Will by Rammstein)) as he pulled up to the curb in front of Kiara's shop/apartment.



Sevastyan put the vehicle in 'park' and glanced to the shop's windows. Yep. Definitely closed up. However... there was something different at the window. A blood red, very similar if not exactly the same shade as his tie...

Kiara.

A smirk appeared on his face. From what he could see from here, she was dressed nicely: not too casual, nor too formal. Then again, he could only see some of her dark hair, a red shirt of some sort, and perhaps a knee-length skirt of black. Sevastyan nodded to acknowledge her and made a rather pointed glance at the seat as he put an arm on top of the empty seat beside him. As if to solidify what he was trying to say, the Russian wizard made a clear beckoning gesture with the hand casually draped onto the extra seat.

6:53... seven minutes early. How long had she been waiting?

Kiara smiled as she watched Sevastyan land in his car, "He is early, good.." she said to her self as she turned around and headed for the door.

Making sure she had everything, walked outside and charmed the door locked.

Desending the stairs she walked towards Sevastyans car, she noticed in amusement they were wearing the same colour scheme. But amusement aside he looked good.

Getting in the passenger side door she smiled, "Nice Car, So where are we going if I may ask?" she asked.

A smirk lit up Sevastyan's features at the compliment. He'd heard her as he had charmed the volume to lower to a tolerable level as Kiara had arrived. "You look nice... not that you didn't before," he remarked as he conjured a brochure related to their destination: Ivanna Royale Casino. Or, rather, the restaurant there. He handed it to her after casting a transliteration spell on it so Kiara would be able to read it without a problem. It was initially in Cyrillic.

"Thought you might like this place. My family owns it. Many different kinds of food there, not just Russian dishes," he explained, cleverly intertwining both usages of the word 'family' that he was used to using. The Bratva tended to use the casino as a base there in Saratov. "...Even sushi bar if you like that kind of thing."

It was about then that he noticed they were wearing approximately the same colors, the only difference being he'd chosen a white shirt and red tie. A vague curiosity on whether the blouse was made of cotton or silk crossed his mind, but he dismissed it. There were more important things on his list.

"But if you'd rather not, ve can alvays go to different place to eat..." he offered, not wanting to dictate over where they were to dine.

Kiara smiled when he complemented her, she certainly hoped she looked then in her work cloths. "Thank you, You look good to" she returned.

She looked at the brochure and blinked, his family owned it? She was impressed, Then again when she looked at him, he certainly looked like he came from a very well off family at any rate.

"it looks great Sevastyan, Though I am not one for sushi... I may try it though" she said with a nod.

It didn't pass her that there clothing matched in a cute sorta way, the thought made her smile again.

"Ivanna Royale sounds wonderful Sevastyan, I am all for it" she said with a nod in agreement.

"

"Thank you," he answered automatically to the compliment. Sevastyan supposed it was cute that they matched in attire, yet couldn't help but find it a bit uncanny as well. The wizard hadn't a clue what she'd been wearing, and the outfit he had on was not the same one he was wearing earlier. So it wasn't like either of them knew what to expect.

He chortled lightly at the mention of sushi. "It is arranged nicely but I am not vone for sushi, either. My siblings, on the other hand... vell, they are another story."

Sevastyan nodded at her agreement that his family's casino would be suitable. "Shall ve get going then?" he inquired with a smirking grin and put the car into the 'levitating' gear. "You probably vill vant seatbelt..." Sevastyan muttered audibly, with a slight snicker.

Once Kiara was set Sevastyan grinned, turned the volume up a bit on the song that was playing ((Links 2 3 4)), and mercilessly stomped on the gas pedal......




((To Ivanna Royale Casino... lol, I need to make a magical version of a parking lot or something, huh? Will probably have to wait until after I get back to continue this, though...))

Kiara snickered as the mention of his siblings, "I see, I don't really like the idea of fish wraped in seaweed" she said.

She nodded and put on her seat belt, she got the sneaking suspision by the look in his eyes the she was going to need it.

She let out a laugh when Sevastyan stompt the gass petal... yep she had been right. The seat belt was a very good Idea..... and the music wasn't bad either.
