Master Bedroom

Taddeo climbed the stairs and maneuvered around various obstacles to the Master Bedroom, carrying the laundry basket in the way Muggles did as opposed to simply levitating it around. However, the container was charmed to be lighter than normal. That helped a great deal.

Pushing the door open, Tad took a quick glance around the room before stepping in. It wasn't often he'd entered his parents' bedroom of late, so a lot of times he simply took a moment to admire any changes made to the furniture arrangement since last time before merely waltzing through the threshold. He had to nudge the door with his foot and knee to keep it from closing while he was trying to enter. It was only after he'd accomplished this feat that Taddeo realized he could've simply used magic. The belated realization made him laugh.

With a heavy-sounding sigh, the teenager set the basket upon the bed and then hopped up onto it as well. He was debating with himself on what to do next. He could just leave the basket there as his mother asked and go down to finish his card... or he could surprise his mother and leave most of the laundry spread out on the bed in their appropriate piles - leaving unmentionables that weren't his or his father's in the basket. The majority of the sorting would be done that way.

Making up his mind, Tad leaned against the headboard on his father's side of the bed and levitated the first few folded garments off the pile...
