Lads Barracks One (Five Occupants)

"Maybe if he hates us Eliza, he'd actually go." Will said heatedly.

Eliza rolled her eyes. "You know how stubborn he is."

"Listen, I'd rather have him hate us then have him hurt... or worst. Wouldn't you?" Will said.

"Yes...But how can we persuade him to leave if he's mad at us? He'll just do the opposite."

Will sighed in frustration. "Nick's going to kill me...."

Eliza folded her arms. "What? Nick told you to send him back? Great. Just great. So he's mad at me for doing as you asked, while you were doing what Nick asked."

"Well... he didn't really..." Will said nerviously. "I mean, the last thing he wants is Darius to hate him, so Nick let him stay here but when I floo-ed him a couple of days ago, he seemed really worried about Darius."

"Will..." Eliza raised an eyebrow. "Why did you floo him without telling me...or Darius? He could've spoken to Nick himself!"

"Why don't you floo him yourself then?," Will said crossing his arms.

"Because now I don't have a Darius with me to talk to him!" Eliza replied, glaring at her brother.

Will rolled his eyes. "Why don't you find Darius then?"

"Because now all my careful attempts to prevent him running away have failed and he's going to be mad at me! That's why!" Eliza half shouted.
"And if you hadn't said anything, he would still be here!"

"Well I told you to go talk to him!" Will said his voice raising in volume. "It's not good for him to be here!"

"It's not good for him to run off so we don't know where he is!" Eliza replied, also raising her voice.
"What would we do if he ran off before a Purger attack?! We need him to stay near us at least, if he's not going to leave! And he won't do that if he's mad at us!"

Will swore. "This is all you're fault you know! If you hadn't joined, he never would have!"

"I am of age Will! Why shouldn't I join?" She paused, eyes tearing slightly.
"They were my parents too!" She yelled. She rarely yelled at her brother, but she was not a child.

"You don't even remember them!" Will yelled but regretted it as soon as the words were out of his mouth. Stupid Will, that was stupid why did you say that?

Eliza felt tears fall down her face and she turned her back on Will.

"You think I don't know that?! I'll never remember anything they said, anything they did, anything about them...And you think I wouldn't want to stop them dying...to let myself have even one memory of them?!"
Her voice wavered. "You don't know what that's like. At least you can bloody remember!"

She half-screamed, the door swinging open and crahsing into the wall of it's own accord. She stormed out and the door slammed to, causing the room to shake, and leaving a nice handle-shaped dent in the wall.

Blinded by tears, Eliza ran.

Will swore. Way to go, real good big brother there, you pissed off you brother and made your sister cry.

"Eliza wait!" Will said running after her.

((after the generator room))

"Remind me again why there's food in your trunk?" Eliza asked, sitting down on Will's bed.

"I get mid-night cravings." Will said with a smirk. "And I don't fancy going all the way into the kitchen to get some food."

Eliza raised an eyebrow. "You really never stop eating. I bet you even eat in your sleep."

"No, I dream of eating when I am asleep Eliza, there's a difference." Will opened his trunk and pulled a box of sweets out.

"Here," he threw a sweet at Eliza.

Eliza rolled her eyes, but ate the sweet.

"Not much of a difference. Your whole life revolves around food."

"Untrue, I occasionally think about..." Well he was about to say Lara but decided not too.
