Above Ground: Crumbling Classroom

Rossa smirked and gave little mock shocked look on her face, " You love her! wow how did she handle that? Did you tell her?" she asked totally ignoring the his last question.

"Well, no... but I mean the last time I said something to that degree I got smacked in the face. So no." Will said matter-of-factly.

Rossa's eyes widened, "Oh my... Shot down aye? I am sorry Will... I didn't know. What did you say? if you don't mind me asking" she asked feeling sorry for him.

"Well..." Will looking at the ceiling. "I sort of tried to kiss her."

Rossa's mouth dropped "Well no wonder Will, you just don't go and kiss the girl you like Will.. You can't go steeling first kisses, you need to wait for the right moment and be fairly certain she wants to kiss you back" she exasperatingly.

"Please, no more. I've already been slapped, thanks. Besides I already promised I wouldn't try it again." Will muttered sourly.

Rossa sighed, "Sorry Will, I really am....I would offer to talk to her for ya but I doubt that would do any good.... in fact I am certain it wouldn't."

She though for a moment, "How about you just try little things, to show her you haven't given up yet, she may like that.. To know you are putting the effort in" she suggested.

"No," Will said shaking his head. "She wants us to remain as friends, and I'll.... I'll repect that."

Rossa couldn't help but smile, she felt sorry for Will, it was obvious he cared for Lara.

"Ah I see Thats good of you Will, If it helps any I recpect you for that, ya are doing the right thing......I am sorry I couldn't be more help. Ya never know though, she might have a change of heart"

Will shrugged. It was one of those shrugs that could have meant anything. "So now that we've talked about my wonderfully not-existent love life... do you want to grab a bite to eat? I'm starving."

Rossa looked at him sheepishly, "I am sorry things arn't looking as good as you want them to Will. I would help if I knew of a way ta make better.... but I don't. Sure I should eat now anyway... Sentinal duty in a bit." she said with a smile.

Obviously looking forward to it.

"Nah, I'd rather do this on my own." Will said. "So let's eat yeah? To where?"

Rossa smiled, "Well where else does one go to eat? To the kitchen my good sir" she said with a laugh trying to cheer him up and pointed out the door.

"By your leave, milady," Will bowed.

Rossa laughed and curtsied back before walking out of the room.

"Thank ya, hope there is something good in the kitchen" she said.

"Me too, I'm in the mood for chicken for some reason..." Will said following Rossa out.
