Perfects Bathroom (Prefects only)

A beautiful bathroom just for the Prefects of Hogwarts.

Come and relax, have a bath... or maybe a duel?

Ana wandered into the prefects bathroom, smiling with a strange sense of triumph.
Who said evil was never rewarded?
She sat down on the edge of the swimming pool-sized bath and began to fiddle with her treasured ornamental dagger, which she had only recieved after the duelling contest.
Now all she had to do was put her plan into action.

((Yes, this is way down the timeline, after the duelling contest at the Vaight manor which I haven't actually posted yet... confusion... ))

Diana stressed out about her Dad hassling her about her lost Heirloom, went to go and have a relaxing dip.

Little did she know, there was someone already there.

"Oh I'm sorry I didn't see you there."

Ana looked up quickly.
"Where's your strange friend?" Ana demanded in an aggresive voice. She hurridly replaced her dagger in the pocket that also contained a certain locket...
"You know, the one with the horse..the one that hates my brother and nearly got him another detention. You really should train him to leave your boyfriend alone."

"Yes because I really would bring my male cousin into the bathroom with me." Diana said sacrastically. "Listen, I don't want any trouble. I just became here for a bath."

Ana rolled her eyes.
"Uh-huh. A Gryffindor not looking for trouble...well, that's novel." She smiled slightly, her wand hidden up her sleeve.
She reached into a pocket and pulled out the locket.
"Still not looking for trouble?"

Diana's jaw dropped. "My locket! So you stole it?"

Ana laughed.
"No, you are talking to the mastermind...Not the pathetic idiot who actually took it. Do you think I'm that thick? Darien may be, but I'm not. You didn't think he came up with the Polyjuice plan on his own did you? My idea. Of course, I don't work for free. I asked him for your locket in return, and he agreed. Didn't he consult you?"
She pulled out her dagger and grinned.
"I bet you don't even know the value of this."
She held both items in her hands, and the dagger cut her palm, soaking both in blood.
Nothing happened. She healed her cut.
"Why didn't it work?" She mused quietly.

"You mean..." Diana staggered. "Darien took it from me?"

She suddenly felt very betrayed.

Ana rolled her eyes.
"Hello, I just said that. Now, if you don't mind...I have an ancient problem to fix."
She turned the dagger and locket over in her hand.
"Work, curse you!" She hissed to the objects, wand on the floor next to her.

"He wouldn't..." Diana said. But he did.

Diana suddenly felt very sick. She didn't knew what she was doing until after the punch made contact with Ana Vaight's jaw.

Clutching the trinkets close, Ana punched back, not noticing the blade of the dagger protruding slightly from her fist...

Diana reeled from her attack, just enough to dodge the fist completely, however, her cheek made contact with the dagger, drawing blood.

Ana felt a burning as the items in her hand heated up, burning her skin.
She yelped and dropped them, both the dagger and locket glistening with blood.
They bounced on the floor of the bath, coming to a halt a few metres from each other.
"They- I can't believe it..." She glanced at Diana. "They activated..."
She leapt down into the empty bath without another thought, rolling to avoid hurting her ankle on landing. She darted towards the dagger and reached tentively towards it.

Diana nurse the side of her cheek. "Activated?" Ana threw the trickets into the bath. Diana watched as Ana hesitantly get her dagger.

Ana's eyes gleamed. She laughed quietly.
"After so many years..." But she hestitated. What if the dagger refused to acknowledge her as it's master? It was a life-long bond...would it really choose her?
But she knew she would never forgive herself if she didn't try.
She reached out a hand and gripped the handle.
It was cool and smooth to her touch. No pain, no nothing.
She held it reverently, turning to Diana.
"Don't you know the stories? The set created to defy the Hallows...and live. Surely even you know the tales and legends."

"What are you talking about? Was that just a legend? A bedtime story." Diana scooped up her locket."

As her skin made contact with the golden metal, she suddenly felt her blood stir.

Ana raised an eyebrow and pointed the dagger at Diana.
"Did you honestly think that was just a story-Ah!"
Ana felt the dagger shudder in her hand as it sensed the locket.

Diana briefly wondered what was wrong when she felt the locket shudder. "What's happening?"

"I don't know, the original recordings of the event were lost centuaries ago, all I knew was they had to be together and have blood... from both houses apparently." Ana answered, as the dagger pulled her across the room towards Diana.
"It's dragging me along!" She struggled to keep her balance.

"It's dragging me along!" Diana said. "What would happen if they come together?"

"I don't know." Ana's voice was unsteady.
The two objects connected and the locket slotted into a gap in the hilt of the dagger, whch Ana hadn't noticed before.
"What the-"

"AHH-!" Diana's scream was cut of with a poof.

Ana barely had register the fact the dagger was disappearing, when she vanished along with it.
A teleport...nice.
