The Fountain

"Alright." Miranda smiled softly, not wanting to look overly-friendly. "So what year are you?" Although Miranda knew the girl was young, she wasn't sure precisely what age.

"Third. I'm fourteen."

Eglantine sat in her wheelchair, smiling softly as Edwin played with the fish in the fountain. She had transfigured several nearby rocks into the slippery fish for him to play with and now was glad she had. After all, it would have been terrible for the fish had they been unable to turn to rock after Edwin's thrashing.

A large black owl swooped down to drop a scroll into her lap, soaring off before she could even see where it had come from.
Making sure Edwin wouldn't drown, she opened it.

Dear Professor DeLanquar,

I know I really should come to your office to talk to you...but I'm chicken. There is something strange going on with Headmistress Kiara.

Eglantine blinked and then slowly levitated herself from the wheelchair. Holding her hand out to Edwin they went back into the castle.
Speaking of Kiara... she hadn't seen her since breakfast and it was already approaching supper time.

The dementors were now roaming around the garden and the fountain making everything cold and eerie. The students and staff were getting quite annoyed with the whole situation of the dementors trying to still the souls of the people around Hogwarts but they continues on what they were doing.

The water turned into a dark blue then turned into ice as the dementors passed through it. Everything was turning into ice. Just hopefully know one isn't around to be attacked by the foul creatures that lurk around the fountain at this point of time.
