Deepwell Cottage (Sorry, once again, can't go there!)

"She is safe, Mr. Deepwell." Eglantine muttered. She knew her robes would make it difficult for her, so as he looked around, she transfigured them into a white blouse and skirt. "You had a heart attack and had to be resuscitated." She leaned heavily against the table.

"Really? That's odd...I have great health. Must be that protein diet. Strange, I never knew that having a heartattack gets you a bit nutty up here." he gestured to his head as he eyed her weakened state curiously. "You, on the other hand, might want to take it easy." he stood without problem and looked around. "So where is Odessa?"

"She is visiting a friend of hers from primary school." Eglantine hated lying and therefore told as much of the truth as possible. "Would you like to come with me to see her?"

Steven raised an eyebrow. "I had a heartattack and my wife skipped over to a friend's house for a spot of tea?" he asked skeptically.

"How should I know?" Eglantine reasoned. "I do not even know you." She smiled softly and motioned for him to follow her. "In case you are interested, I am Professor Eglantine DeLanquar. I teach at the school your wife is at right now." As she spoke she was careful to note everything around her, despite her weakened condition.

Steven's eyebrows shot up as realization dawned on him. "You're one of them, aren't you? Y-You're a witch, just like Odessa was." Backing away from Eglantine, Steven dug around a drawer and withdrew a knife and held it in front of her. "Get away." he hissed.

Eglantine sighed. "Very well. If you wish to be difficult." Her robes transfigured back into their original form and she took a step closer to him. "You were attacked and your wife was as well. Your wife is safe and I came here to help you. Only to help you." she whispered, both of her shaking hands went up in a gesture of surrender.

Steven considered her words for a moment and hesitantly lowered the knife. He wasn't sure why, but for some reason he had an overwhelming urge to trust this woman, he couldn't help but feel that she truly understood him. "Alright." he said softly.

"Thank you." Eglantine lowered her hands slowly and sighed. "Do you know anything about apparation?" she asked.

Steven shook his head warily. "N-No, is it a spell? Will it hurt?"

"No, it will feel odd, but it will not hurt." She used her cane to take another step closer to him and then reached out to lightly touch his arm. "Relax, please." she stated, before apparating them directly to the Hospital Wing of Hogwarts.

Invisible Viper swore as she witnessed the entire scene ending with them apparating away. Withdrawing the 'excessum' she stared at it wondeirng what it truly was before apparating back to her chambers.
